Going to Paris at the end of this year. This was super helpful. Great video and I especially like that you called out the things that weren't so good in addition to the good things. Too many videos claim "EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS DELICIOUS!" and it makes it hard for me to take their recommendations seriously.
Have a great trip! It’s always hard criticising food or the place where it’s served. And we try our best to really think it through before we put in the critical stuff. We know how much work goes into it and just how complex and dynamic food can be. Thanks for the comment, we appreciate it!
It looks amazing. Your reviews are so honest, yet very respectful. If I ever visit Paris, I will definitely watch again this video. Thanks for sharing!
I stayed in the 7th. Paris lived up to the hype for me. Montmartre is a tourist area. I believe that is where Paris Syndrome comes from. I also loved Land and Monkeys but I got the quiche and pastries. I went to a different location. The location in the video is much larger. My quiche had vegetables in it. The coffee was good too. Your food descriptions are very good.
Interesting! Maybe it was something about the particular location or the particular batch of savoury treats. Even we were surprised that we didn’t like it considering all the great reviews Thanks for the comment! And we are glad you had a great time.
This was excellent guidance about paris we are going next month I will keep in mind where to go now…as I am foodie but vegetarian…still lots of options via your video thankyou so much for showing not only with good reviews ❤❤❤
Thanks for the comment! And we hope you have a great trip! Let us know what you liked and didn’t like when you’re back - it could help the others reading the comments!
I don’t know if you’ve been before, but I visited ‘My Sweet Rawmance’ with my husband- it’s near to the sacré cœur and I thought of you when I was there! I really enjoyed the food :)
@@imagineeverythingvegan try pepe pizza (75020 Paris) it's voted the best pizzaria in Europe, you can also try Glace Bachir (libanesse ice cream) it's really amazing. You can also try the wine n dine resto Signorvino at saint Michel Notre Dame, do try the plate with pecorino cheese it's too good !

Sorry to say but Parisian food is based on butter, cream, cheese, and meats. To say parisian food is disappointing as a vegan is not quite accurate. What I would say is that Parisian food is not well adapted for vegan alternatives. Great video my wife is vegan so it’s too bad there are not more options when we go in 2025.

The Land and Monkeys chocolate tarts looks delicious 😍
Yes, they were delicious!
Had you visited any of these places when you were in Paris?
@@imagineeverythingvegan Unfortunately no, but the way you captured the food makes me want to visit again, just to check out these cafes!
Yes, for sure!
Do you need to tip at restaurants in Paris?
Just check if the bill has a service charge included in it. If it does, no need to tip. If it doesn’t, then it will be good to leave a tip. 😊
Can vegans have meat? The title states that you guys will be showing options for vegans
It’s all Vegan! It’s mock meat made using protein from soy, wheat or peas. Don’t worry! 😉

There are plenty of options, so I hope she still has some amazing meals! Best of luck!
