Didn't know there is so much homelessness in KL these days. I can't remember hearing of any when I was young living in KL. What food were they given? Cooked ones?
Not sure what the local authority does to tackle the homeless in the city, moreover the hotspot of homeless is next to the city attractions; Central Market, Petaling Street. Most of them are elderly and some also foreigners. Of course to compare with some cities in the USA or Europe, or other cities in Asia eg. Jakarta or Manila, Kuala Lumpur is far better...but still is shocking for many tourists.... for elderly and who have mental illness, they need help by our government due to increasing living cost in the city.
