I'm surprised crinkle balls weren't on this list - my bengal loooooves the crinkle ball!

The estimates for cats being triggered by catnip are as low as 50% of cats. There is high variability in this number even among expert sources. Humane society says around 50%, petmd says 50-79% and scientific America says it's 70-80%. The point I want to make this is it's not 100% and perhaps not even close to 100% of cats that react to catnip

My bengal boy (15 months) has ZERO interest in anything above apart from feather toys and the tunnel. The rest he wouldn´t spend one second to. He has no interest in cat nip, cat wheel, petstages towers, multifunctional scratching boards....haven´t tried the circuit cat toy, tho. He´s so easily bored and he is a real bengal with the finest pedigree. PS! He loves crinkle balls and going for a walk in a leash.

My Bengal, Chambertin, has no interest in cat nip at all.
    Loves her cat wheel.
But most importantly you have to play with them one on one. Playing together is the main sign to a Bengal that you love them.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Bengal cat, Chambertin. It's interesting to hear that Chambertin isn't particularly interested in catnip but enjoys the cat wheel instead. Each cat has their unique preferences and personality traits, so it's not uncommon for them to have different reactions to various stimuli.
You've highlighted a crucial aspect of Bengal cat care, which is the importance of one-on-one playtime. Interactive play sessions are not only great for physical exercise but also serve as a bonding activity between you and your cat. Engaging in playtime shows your love and commitment to their well-being, as well as provides them with mental stimulation.
It's wonderful to see that you recognize the significance of playing together as a way to show your Bengal cat affection. Understanding and catering to your cat's individual needs and preferences is key to fostering a strong and loving relationship. Keep up the great work in providing Chambertin with the attention and playtime they deserve!

I’ve had cats all my life, last year I got my first Bengal kitten, she has no interest in cat nip, even now as an adult cat nip has no affect on her, I have never seen a cat that doesn’t go crazy for it.
She is really difficult to entertain as she becomes bored with everything in a matter of minutes, she has all the toys on your list apart from a cat wheel as I really don’t know which one to get her, and based on my experience with other toys I can’t help but think it will be another really expensive toy that she either doesn’t use or gets bored with quickly 😼

Brigitte L Jones Sounds like your Bengal got see toys as a pale imitation of real prey. Cats need you to interact a lot with them and any new toys you get to be interested in the toys. You need to sustain playing with Bengals and the toys for regular lengthy times, and even acknowledge how cute they are playing with them to sustain interest in toys that have appeal to them. Then sometimes it will spill over for a bit of independent play with things like the scratching board. Aside from early kitten hood when the play drive is exceedingly high, later on they go by your interaction(lengthy sustained & regular) with them and toy to see toys of any value.

It's fascinating how each cat has their own unique preferences and personalities. Your Bengal kitten's disinterest in catnip is certainly unusual, but it just goes to show how diverse our furry friends can be. It can be challenging to find the perfect toy for a cat with a short attention span, but I'm sure with some patience and experimentation, you'll discover something that captures her interest. Wishing you the best of luck in finding the right toy for your lovely Bengal! 😺

crinkle ball and play fetch! alternative to catnip is valerian root tea. I had a cat who ignored catnip, but tore into a package of valerian tea I had on the counter. my bengal ignores catnip, so will be trying the valerian root

I'm about to take delivery of a 6 month F3 bengal kitten, next week. I'm excited, but a little nervous, as anyone should be when they're getting an older kitten whose personality you didn't have anything to do with. The breeder says her personality is very affectionate, and she's a normal bengal kitten with her activities, but I'll have to judge that for myself. But thank you for the videos. You've given me a lot of good ideas for activities and play things.

Brigitte L Jones Except for the cat wheel my son got all those toys for his bengals. Cat wheel was more expensive and if cats wouldn't like it as in the past they eventually went outside. When one neighbourhood was irresistible with local fauna, they got so insistent my son gave in. In the end there was too much traffic becoming way to risky to permit this. Just walks on leash and backyard supervised. The bird one and other similar ones, the tunnels played interactively, cats inside , son attacking on the outside plus objects moved up a cat tree are staples to play with the cats for their exercise, interaction and burn of energy before bed time or bad weather when can't supervise them outside. They play with toys themselves and chase each other around a lot too. They actually don't like catnip, but I have had cats very keen on it.The ball type toys inside things, I found both my cats and son's Bengals got fed up with never getting them out after they were older than 4 years old. My son's Bengals ask him to play with them or take them out supervised or the boy for a walk( can't do that now as there is a dog who escapes and nearly had a bad outcome). My son is so glad he has 2 Bengals as the play they do with each other is such active crazy fun for them that can never be replaced by anything.I agree they need good toys, but you need to interact a lot with them them and even with the toys somewhat to make them seem of higher value.

Your son's dedication to providing toys and interactive play for his Bengals is commendable. It's heartwarming to see the joy and exercise these activities bring to your cats. Keep up the great work!

Hi! What are the treats you are giving to your Bengal cats? Can you give specifically a name of the treat please. I bought some but he doesn’t care about the treat

Our monkeys are not picky but we give them treats very rarely. I don't have some specific brand, we just avoid sugar
