Jumping in lake Michigan on NEW YEARS DAY air temperature -20 degrees, water temperature around 40 degrees... Polar bear plunge ❄🌬☃️ 1 time and never again!!!
Having been a travel agent for most of my working years ( now retired from that business), all my trips were planned. Although I did have a manager that handpicked me from my team to go on an agent trip to Ireland that included a day trip at the Titanic museum in the Belfast area- so awesome. Then we toured Belfast and had a few beers at the oldest pub in Belfast called The Crown Bar. That’s memorable and not really planned. Super fun.
I love cheap cruises but I feel like what I am most jealous about is the ability to just spontaneously pack your bags and just go on a trip for free. Imagine just waking up and be like I want to go to Iceland, same day book, next day departure. Just amazing experiences you probably had since you were a kid.
For real. Ever since 9/11, travel has been shot. I can’t even get a passport. Feel like a hostage in my country. Not a criminal, just can’t afford that crap. Especially not for the entire family. Going out to a river or national forest is even tough these days. As in unless you’re in an area in America with that free public BLM land. Almost everywhere else will require multiple fees, permission slips, designated areas, extensive planning, just to pitch the tent for a weekend or short night passing through. Don’t bother fishing at random traveling cross country as a family. You’ll need a permission slip from Big Daddy Government in every state. The new generations think this is normal and accept it. Dunno what to do. 🤷
That's what's rough about this video for me, is the lifestyle to leave whenever and prices due to family connections aren't what most people can have, so it feels a little off for some reason to post how you scored $250 cruise.
@@thepain321 thatsh why so many europeans are so mad at the brits...we have the open border thing and the easy cheap travels cause no visa no passport bs... and they just threw that away as if its worth nothing
My mom and I have done stuff like this… spontaneous trips. I have a 4 year old daughter now and we’re starting to do trips spontaneously, too. This makes me want to call my mom and do a spontaneous 3 gen trip. Thanks for being inspiring.
I think you can tell from your personality and outlook on life that you did fun, adventurous things growing up. I find that people that can’t handle small bathrooms, minor inconveniences, etc. didn’t ever have to exist outside their comfort zone. Great vid.
some people (like me) are claustrophobic so being in tight places can trigger a panic attack. it's not that they avoid small bathrooms because they're used to their comfort zone, but it increases their anxiety.
I stumbled across your channel a while back and loved your vibe and have just come back here to see that it's absolutely BLOWN UP! Well done Taylor you're totally smashing it, and so well deserved. I went on a spontaneous (also very cheap) cruise with my mum years ago but our little cabin was no where near as lush as this and we only had a dinky little circular window that the ocean splashed up against most of the time (think lowest-standard submarine vibes) 😂 Really enjoyed this vlog and so glad you guys had an awesome time! 💚
Looks like you got a good gig going with Delta. Take advantage of it as frequently as you can. Making those travelling memories is what life is all about. The island looks incredible for a relaxing reprieve and it seems you had a great time there! \🕶/
Heck yeah! Been taking advantage since I was in the womb 😊 Or I guess my womb travels don't count. Anyway, yess it was a great time. Thanks for watching :)

I love your travel videos. Reminds me of the stories my late dad told me. He lived in NJ, just across the Hudson from NYC. It was the 1930s, he and his friends would hop a train to Miami. There, they boarded a boat for a weekend in Cuba. Those were different times. My most spontaneous came in 1969, after my return from Vietnam. Six of us decided to see America. Had to quit my job, but WTH. Had a great time, for sure. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end."😎
Nicely done. One of the crisp videos I have watched for complete cruise experience. Covered all the bases for someone like me who hadn't been on a cruise!

So relaxing video. I'm planning my first ever cruise and am getting pretty anxious and stressed about it. Not really excited. Well, cause im recovering from a major panic attack and depression. Your video made my so relaxed about it. Thank you.
This was a great travel video, especially because of the way you wove your Mom into the story. You're about the same age as my daughter, who is working on her Masters in International studies, and you have her love and interest in the life and world around you which makes me, an empty nester miss my daughter a bit less. I was drawn into the tourism industry because my parents were campers in the 70's when I was in high school, and prior to that I sang in a gospel choir, which toured every summer from 70-75, called the Choraliers, out of the Napa Valley where I was raised after just a year in Burbank, having moved there from Chicago in '66. My parents, while we lived in Chicago, took me to the Wisconsin Dells with my two brothers, my earliest memories, in 64 and 65 on a camping trip. And I just got used to loving travel, and relocating just two times, because my Dad worked as a scientist for the US Government. He traveled across the US and to Hawaii for weeks at a time, always sharing stories of where he went, and of his three sons, I was the one who had interest in a career involving travel, like his. Out of college, I worked in Napa's retail and hotel guest service industries, wondering how I would accomplish my travel goal, and someone came to me, who saw me teaching someone like you to use our hotel computer system. My associate hugged me after my lesson saying aloud I could teach computer systems w/o being geeky or impatient or considering her questions dumb. Embarrassed, and by serendipity, the systems vendor who was upgrading our system gave me his card saying if I wanted free worldwide travel that was not a scam, but meaningful for tourism systems teaching, he would hire me when I was ready to leave my Napa Valley job. I chose to do just that, and my dream of a travel job came true ever since--that was in the spring of 1989, until I reached retirement age this year. The pay was not much, but it grew with time and seniority. That is why videos like yours and the experience your Mom also share remind me about how special travel is especially family travel.

Great to see you and your mom traveling and having fun! Also impressed by the Carnival cruise line experience and it did not disappoint - as a former travel agent for most of my life, Carnival was usually the Spring Breakers ideal getaway with many wild nights and wet tee shirt contests. But your cruise didn’t appear to be that kind of cruise. Very affordable and the food looked delicious. Perfect weekend getaway. Glad u had fun.

Hi new to the channel, and i liked the fact that you highlighted the food.. never been on a cruise but i hear it's a part of the whole experience. in my 27 years in florida that was the norm. not so much anymore, have been on over 85 cruises around the world, now just traveling the world by plane train and auto - too much bs with cruises. but have spent as little as 4 days for 180 bucks double room bottom of ship to 30 days in europe and 10 countries. always mindful and have never over paid.
Nice video. Like the to the point thoughts ideas etc. Did you eat lunch? What was the total bill? Did you do any boat activities or what was the cost of the other shore excursions? Thanks!😁
Looks like a good time! I took a 5 night cruise in January for $95. Balcony stateroom. The ship was more than half empty because people were freaking out about omicron. It was a blast, as usual.

Oh.. i thought to add this after the fact, your 27k a month apartment tour was highlighted on MSN Canada, which is how I came across the channel.
Thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed. And no wayyy, would you mind sending me a link to the MSN Canada feature?
@@TaylorBell Hi Taylor thanks for replying.. I've posted variations of the link a few times which get removed with no notification. It's possible you may see them on your end.. anyway, I emailed thru gmail to your addy as well.
Hey Taylor are you going to post a vlog about your belated graduation ceremony ? I honestly have been looking forward to it
Hoping to! Unfortunately I didn’t film a whole bunch when I was there
Love the dancin Taylor, looks like i'm not the only shy guy that turns red hot when dancin' in front of a crowd!
Hahaha you got that right! 😅

I never thought about taking a cruise and just reading. I feel like I would be missing something on the ship. Maybe I'll give it a try. Great video!
What fun! Looks like you and your Mom had a good time
We sure did! Thanks for watching 😊
I was on the Radiance for its Memorial Day cruise and again in August. One of my favorite Carnival ships!
Great views 👏👏. The background music from Marco Antonio Solis is the best 👏😍.
in my 27 years in florida that was the norm. not so much anymore, have been on over 85 cruises around the world, now just traveling the world by plane train and auto - too much bs with cruises. but have spent as little as 4 days for 180 bucks double room bottom of ship to 30 days in europe and 10 countries. always mindful and have never over paid.
Just found your channel! I love to cruise so here I am! Subbed!
Wow ! An amazing trip ! Really love your videos Taylor ❤️😀
Aw thank you sooo much girl! It was a fun time 😊❤️
Nice video. Like the to the point thoughts ideas etc. Did you eat lunch? What was the total bill? Did you do any boat activities or what was the cost of the other shore excursions? Thanks!😁
So cute I love your personality and you and your mom’s relationship so cool you guys do things like this together 😊 ❤
Looks like a good time! I took a 5 night cruise in January for $95. Balcony stateroom. The ship was more than half empty because people were freaking out about omicron. It was a blast, as usual.
How do you find deals like that?
@@LA_GALLADA_RUIZ
Prices were very cheap then because of covid. But I found it on vacations to go, using the advanced search. Search for what you want and you can set a price limit and sort by lowest price.
@@jshepard152 thanks I just booked for $370 first time...any tips?
Oh what a great perk!! Sponty trips with the fam is always a gewwwd time ❤️

If this is the kind of person you normally are, I love it. You are too funny 😆 “Turtle, out.”
Hahahaha thank you. My family said this was the first video where I truly showed how I am on a day to day 😂
@@TaylorBell absolutely amazing. Love to hear you’re able to keep it real. Looking forward to more of your shared posts!
I have a pic of myself and my Dad in front of the dome thingy -- it has really ornate pretty huge doors, making for a good photo op. :) Wish we had thought to rent a golf cart to go up to the top! We did take the trolly around, which was fun.
Aw how sweet, yesss it is very ornate and beautiful! Trolly sounds fun too 😊
What a fun cruise. I love the price; even with the little extras, a great deal…
It’s incredible, there are waterfall and near river with green mountains. I am ready to die😂 from this amazingly view❤
