I'm in between jobs too (sort of, waiting for my green card as I'm from Canada) so I understand how nebulous and liminal this stage is! Wish I could fly to the Middle East but I'm stuck in the States so thank you for this video--I get to live vicariously through you! I'm also vlogging about this experience (both my husband and I are unemployed in LA currently...)!
Dang that food looked so good! On the plane I usually try to find movies in Spanish because I’m a Spanish teacher and I like to discover new movies and get practice in. There are usually ones on the plane that I haven’t happened to come across elsewhere and they are usually pretty good!

Taking me back to my days at United in Denver. Standby can go either way. The perfect flight or never getting on and coming back the next day. My best flight was Honolulu to Denver, first class, 747. Likeable , shrewd , smart , girl and very good at what she does . Knows that with the lifestyle stuff it’s often a very transient audience and there’s only certain subjects that get the high clicks so it can’t last forever.., There is a relatively narrow window of opportunity and it’s imperative to make hay while the sun shines and this is what she’s doing excellently..

Fantastic Video. But Delta One is technically Business class not First class (highest fare bucket is J, not F). AA is the only US airline that offers international First class.

Pod seating is the way to go. I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy the pod seats multiple times. I travel for work and fly multiple times a month. Living in Dallas i don’t get as many options for pod seating on planes anymore since I’m so central to anywhere in the US. Jet blue and their “mint” experience is the best. I fly American 90% of the time however.
OMG my mom's a flight attendant for Delta based out of JFK. People don't understand the long days spent at airports because you're on standby!
