My TBI was 11 years ago, fatigue is still a massive problem for me. It can hit at any time, anywhere. Friends and family say it's as if my battery has run flat. Some days I literally can't move if I sit down, it's as if my brain and body shuts down. After a period of rest or a nap I don't feel any better. It gets worse throughout the week. Since the TBI I don't go into deep sleep, I never feel truly rested. Fatigue after TBI isn't taken seriously by a lot of GPs or the DWP. Thank you for covering this particular topic

My partner just celebrated his 20th year of being a TBI survivor. He's on a lot of necessary medications to manage his seizure disorder, sleeps 10-14 hours a night, has to nap every day. Thank you for educating us on these important topics. I have a deeper understanding of why he sleeps so much now.
