From the moment Eren kissed Historia’s hand the fate of the world was sealed. At first Eren fell into depression at the thought of killing 80% of humanity but after convincing himself there was no other way, he hardened his resolve and committed to seeing it through to the end. He collaborated with Floch to seize control of Paradis. He triggered the Battle of Liberio just to steal the Warhammer Titan and capture Zeke. He manipulated Yelena and Zeke into thinking he was on their side just so he could enter the paths. Eren’s knowledge of the future and acceptance of collateral damage gave him a clarity he never had before, making him appear as a genius in season 4. But what if that never happened? What if Eren didn't kiss Historia's hand? Surprisingly, the ending will not change. We’ll just take a different path to reaching it.
Personally I don't believe Willy Tybur can convince anyone to join him against Paradise. Especially with Hizuru showing off the aeroplanes built with Iceburst stone. It is explicitly said in chapter 100 that Tybur's speech would be useless if he didn't die a Martyr that night. And since Marley is public enemy number one, every other nation would see through Marley's tricks when they come to negotiate about an embargo on Paradise. It is important to remember that the main purpose of Tybur's speech is to get the other nations to agree on a non-aggression pact with Marely so they can mobilize a full invasion of Paradise. Without this non-aggression pact Marley is unable to attack.
The first aeroplane was finished only a month after Eren's attack on Liberio, so while Tybur would be going around trying to convince the world to agree not to attack Marley while they invade Paradise Hizuru will be showing off their planes. Showing off the possibilities of working together with Paradise. Showing off a weapon that can defeat Marely's titans. I think many nations would willingly side with Paradise to get in on some of the iceburst stone action.
My reasoning was as such: Without Wily Tybur dying and the diplomats from countless nations getting slaughtered, the global alliance would not form. However, the worlds hatred against Eldians was reaching a boiling point. According to Udo, the hostility Marley showed the Eldians is tame compared to the other countries. This is telling because Marley locks the Eldians in ghettos, using them as cannon-fodder, and even fed little children to dogs for stepping outside the internment zone. I highly doubt the world's genocidal intentions was limited to mainland Eldians. So the population of other countries would support Wily Tybur's proposal just like the diplomats did. The world leaders would see through Wily's intentions but would feel internal pressure to show solidarity. The embargo is basically a nothing-burger, the world was already not trading with Eldians so making a declaration about it is meaningless. It's just a way to show solidarity against devils without actually helping Marley. It would even be a failure for Marley hence why they plan on retooling their military for a year. If they can conquer Paradis quickly, the world won't have time to react. Then they can use the Founding Titan to solidify their superpower status.
The problem with the Iceburst stone is the Hizurus aren't trustworthy. They want Paradis isolated and weak so they remain dependent on them and allow them to monopolize the resource. Hange even admitted in chapter 108 that Hizuru weren't going to help Paradis trade with the world. I forgot that the flying boat was fueled with Iceburst, so I didn't think about Kiyomi showing it off. Good on you for remembering that. But I don't think it changes the timeline I laid out. It just makes the worlds "embargo" even more of a nothing burger. The Hizurus would continue dealing with Paradis covertly. They'd make a killing as Paradis's middle-man, as world leaders would be interested in the technology but would be terrified of being seen negotiating with Eldians.

Eldian rights movements have already formed 3-4 years before Eren raids Liberio. So if anything it looks like it might be cooling down for Eldians.
Keep in mind that Udo and his family haven't actually been in a foreign Eldian ghetto for quite a while.
The issue with those Eldian rights movement is they’re considered freaks. Plus their “solution” is redirecting the hatred towards the island Eldians. That doesn’t help Paradis’s cause in convincing the world to work with them. In time island Eldians might gain sympathy but they’d need the rumbling as a temporary deterrent.
There’s also the comment from Zeke where he notes the calls for extermination are growing louder around the world.
Eren would be naïve and would look on the bright side like Armin.
He would, until Historia's life is put in danger with the 50-year plan, then when Armin's life is put in danger by Zeke not being on the island.
I don’t think he would have looked on the bright side. Eren still wouldn’t be satisfied once getting to the ocean like the rest because the outside world, to him, was just freedom that had been taken away from him, and that is the way he saw it ever since Armin showed him the book, because at first he thought it was freedom taken away because of the titans and the walls, and Eren was disappointed after seeing that there were people beyond the walls(either that or he was just disappointed of the way eldians were treated outside the walls). Eren has never hesitated to take away the freedom of those who he feels threaten or take away his own freedom(he killed the people that kidnapped Mikasa when he was a child), and he is also never afraid to give back freedom to those who have had it taken away from them(Mikasa being kidnapped by the ones who killed her parents, Ramzi being beaten up), but it is true that with him seeing the rumbling in his future, he became cold on the outside, and seemed to have stopped caring about anything but moving forward, the memories of his father had a big impact on him and how he acted about the situation he was in
That's the problem with the kids here. Eren was disappointed that so much hate and war was targeted to Paradis. Eren was extremely wise for his age and far more smarter than everyone because he saw the future.
what if the smiling titan ate bertholt? that would be interesting
Eren would consult things with Armin and Hange, and since they have no chance for negotiations because of isolation, perhaps they would also support the Rumbling, but still partial one, because Armin and others are too kind and innocent.
And perhaps they would think of Annie being eaten by Historia, so the military would have worked hard to break her crystal.
What if adult Eren used the Founding Titan power to travel back in time and stopping Ymir from taking the spear?
i dont think its possible since the attack titan didnt exist at that time, the titan shift powers were only splitted after ymir dies, and attack titan memories can only affect attack titan inheritors
Then Eren would never have been born and the environment and world situation would not be the same and the Eren we know wouldn't exist.

It simply doesn't work that way,, it is not time travel it is more like memory encounters where there is no past nor future,, so he couldn't..

How do you think Erwin would've handled things if he was saved instead of Armin? I felt like Hange's relative inaction during the 4 years after Shiganshina with regards to approaching other nations/helping in their wars against Marley were what partly led Eren and the Jaegerists to start acting independently and feeling they had no alternative. Would he have been able to come up with a plan do you think, or would he have just relied solely on the Azumabito/Volunteers?

I subscribe to the theory that attack on titan has no alternative timelines. There is one only future.
The evidence for this lies in the Attack Titan's power. Many think the Attack Titan can look into the future, but this is incorrect. The Attack Titan can send memories into the past. So it's up to a future inheritor manipulate the events of the past. We know that this is how it works because Grisha has to beg Eren to show him if Carla's still alive, implying that Grisha cannot confirm this himself.
For all of this to work there cannot be multiple timelines. Otherwise past inheritors would be getting messages from multiple Eren's which doesn't seem to be the case.
This does run into a problem. Mainly, "where does it start". But this is a problem with all time-manipulation plots. We run into grandfather paradoxes pretty quickly. While this is certainly a plot hole, it's a plot hole inherent to all stories with time manipulation, and I think it's better to ignore this plot hole and move on rather than dwell on it and try figure out a way it can work. It's a paradox after all, there is no way to make a paradox work.

that would be really interesting, the 104th would be very inexperienced, Annie wouldn't have been captured yet and it would take way longer for the scouts to even fight back.
If this is what happened in canon, I can see many peoples here will not be happy as much as they were not satisfied when they witnessed Eren unleashed the Rumbling for the first time because I can see that they won't like how everything seemed to be against Paradis with no way out but the Rumbling. But ironically, the question about why Paradis did not join the Marley Mid-East War will be the hot topic across the Internet for a very long while.
Also, the facts that Hange and Armin did not immediately go for the Mid-East Allied Forces and offer assistance in the war against Marley before the official declaration of war and embargo against Paradis baffled me. Just because some Mid-Eastern soldiers are being racists to Falco didn't mean their political leaders will. And it will be foolish to not take the offer to defeat Marley when an opportunity comes knocking on their doorstep. After all, an opportunity never knocked twice.
P.S: Have you ever thought it is weird that the peoples in our world hate the Eldians in Attack on Titan but like the mutants in X-Men?
Paradis's issue was they thought Kiyomi was an honest broker, when she was only interesting in monopolizing the Iceburst stone. Hange even admitted as such in Chapter 108. Paradis could have made a killing selling ODM equipment to the Mid-East Alliance. Imagine how screwed Marley would be if Mid-East scientist collaborated with Paradis and integrated Anti-Titan weapons with the ODM gear. But if nations began dealing with Paradis directly, how would the Hizurus return to relevancy? But with the war over, the world wouldn't be desperate and their hatred of Eldians would prevail.
I should note, the embargo was just a way to show solidarity against Paradis without actually doing anything. Because of how hated Eldians were, any negotiations for the Iceburst stone would be covert and through middle-men like the Hizurus. The embargo would not affect that as who'd actually enforce it.
@@thenenhunter2600 In my view, Hizuru is supposed to be an example similar to Austria in the aftermath of the Crimean War. And by that, I mean what it feared will happen the most ended up happening but in the most unexpected way. What does that mean? This is where Austria entered the picture. Back in the 19th century, Austria and Russia have an alliance with one another. And before the outbreak of the Crimean War, Russia helped Austria suppressed the Hungarian Revolution in 1848. So when the war did break out, the Tsar was expecting Austria to come to his aid. But instead, Austria declared neutrality with a bit of leaning toward the Allies by helping them draft the Four Points. The reason Austria did this was because it wanted to remove the Russian influence from the Balkans. However, it should be noted that they didn't want the Allies to redraw the map of Eastern Europe either because they wanted the existing political landscape to continue to preserve its own existence. And I guess this is what Hizuru feared the most. The desire to ensure that the current status quo to continue existing ended up becoming its own undoing by wanting to monopolize Paradis' resources while also maintaining neutrality with Marley and the other nations around the world. So if Paradis traded directly with the Mid-Eastern nations and even join the war, Hizuru will most likely ended up being diplomatically isolated for playing both sides of the war after the Allies emerged victorious.
And assuming that Paradis entered the war as a member of the Allies and it ended with the Allies' victory, how much change will be brought? Well, aside from Hizuru ended up being diplomatically isolated, of course. I can see Marley lost some territories in the south to the Mid-Eastern nations while Paradis gained a seat on the international stage at Marley's expense by forcing humiliating peace on Marley. As for Marley, it will most likely hated Paradis even more and fall into revanchism but they cannot do anything about it since economic recovery from this war will be its first priority. And to make the matter worse, the possibility of a civil war similar to the American Civil War in our world regarding the Eldians' rights is very high in Marley as well now that Paradis entered international politics.
What if Eren Yeager Use All Titan's Power
The Rumbling was inexorable due to Eren's innate desires. The context doesn't necessarily matter when Eren and his preoccupation with a free unoccupied world was the catalyst for The Rumbling.

Thus he still start the rumbling in a plenty brutal way.For the case of paths that Grisha never seen kill Reiss family i think still the timeline wont change outside but eren will still manipulate it .Willy is the worst as it is, being alive for long time and wandering around the world in series makes the paradis diplomacy is utterly impossible.
Basically Willy is the most large hurdle and block in the way.Eren kills him in front of world leaders though its still make the world hatred larger and meets paradis doom.In real time eren mindset thinks peace was never be an option and do anything drastic to obtain everything.This what if Eren is still a villain but he will meet worst end

yes because it was zeke bringing eren into his fathers memories that allowed him to manipulate his father
@@jbizzy8 the only reason eren had the idea to manipulate his father is because he saw it in his future memories. He isn't some genius mastermind he just went through with the timeline he saw in front of him because it would result in his desired outcome.
