Wow man, what a beautiful video, you are the only Pilot who has taken me to enjoy Oshkosh sitting here in my house from Mexico, Congratulations, what a beautiful experience living a few days in camp among what one loves... airplanes. greetings from MMMX
For someone going to Air Venture for the first time, this is now THE definitive video to watch. That and the Fisk Arrival you shot. So much good, basic but need to know information. This was really, REALLY good.
Huge compliment, thanks so much! I needed a video I could use next year once we forgot the procedure! Haha, really though, thanks for all the kind words on the videos!
Exactly the comment I wanted to make. Parts 6, 7, 8 should be listed in EAA site. You do great production quality, they should contract you to do a new video for the Fisk arrivals as the ones on site have terrible audio and look like shot on VHS.
Wow! So, I’ve flown into Osh Kosh 4 times. All of them day trips in from KFCM. This year I want to camp with my wife. So, to show her how much fun it would be I searched, “camping Osh Kosh” and found your video. This is were it gets weird. As we came across the 17:58 time stamp, we see you taping our Comanche (5132P) as I departed last year. This really helped in “selling her” on the idea. Thanks Micah!
No way! That’s awesome! And I’m glad you found the video and it helped. I looked at so much info and couldn’t find anything before we went! I wasn’t even sure if there would be bathrooms haha. Glad 32P made it in! Haha
Never been to Oshkosh but today they are having the event again 7-22-22. I'm watching the radar of everyone flying in. It's on my bucket list to go! Watching your video I feel like I'm there with you. Thank you sir for a great video
This is awesome. My first EAA fly in was at Rockford Illinois. Then Paul Poberezeny moved it to Oshkosh. Some of my best and worse early childhood memories came from Oshkosh.
Great video. This is the first video I’ve come across that gets into the personal logistics of actually camping at Oshkosh. Very informative. Hope to do this myself when I get my own plane in the near future.
This video is one of the main reasons I'm going to fly into Oshkosh this year! I'm a subscriber and been missing your videos. I hope everything is well and you start creating more awesome videos!
Just found your channel, been watching all the other parts through out the night, absolutely incredible, this stuff doesn’t even exist in the UK, would do anything to live across the pound, keep it up 👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻🙏🏻🇬🇧
Thank you for the video, plenty of information and slow pans of the camera. While I could dispense with the air show a bit more info next time on the merchant displays.
Wow I learned a lot from this video. I didn't know: 1) you can camp from an airplane, 2) there are nighttime air shows, and 3) you two are engaged! CONGRATS from Washington state!
Thanks so much!! We had to include that little part, that greeter had eagle vision! And honestly before I knew about Sun N Fun I didn’t know about airplane camping either! It was really awesome
Just because you camp, is no excuse to live like barbarians!!!! 🤣. I prefer the premium blend, but love a Cuban style Cafe’ con leche and if I am feeling it I pour it over two double stuff Oreos for chocolate creamy goodness. LoL
"LOCO" Lopez is an outstanding F-22 pilot. I'm sorry I didn't subscribe to your channel before you went last year! I could have given you an Oshkosh 101 rundown!! Also, EAA provides an app to download. They provide a constant updated map throughout the week for events, forums, shopping, sections of the grounds (Ultralight, Antique/Classic, Warbirds), toilets/showers, and WiFi Hotspots. Great app to have on hand. If ever you're in the South 40 again, I highly recommend Tall Pines Café for breakfast, or lunch. They're by the Ultralight area.
We parked in the South 40 the first year it was open and it was tough to taxi through because the year before it had been a BEAN FIELD. But you are right, Sun N Fun is interesting but AirVenture is in a class by itself.
Great video! What day did you fly in to end up in the South 40? Flying in for the first time this year and planning a Monday morning arrival, and wondering if it’s even worth it to print the North 40 request sign or if it will already be full by then?
Do you need to bring your own tie-down and stakes? Are small portable generators allowed? 38yrs of flying and I've never been to Oshkosh. I can't make it this year (2021) due to spending all my money on upgrades. I definitely plan on next year. Saving up now...I just hope nothing else breaks...lol Seems to be very well organized per your video.
You can buy tie-downs at osh (there are people driving around selling them) but it would be easier to bring your own. You can bring your own small generator but I would only run it while the airfield is open (7am - 8pm as the times other than that are supposed to be quite)
Going to go camping there for the first time this year. Trying to decide whether I go the weekend before and leave Thursday am, or arrive Thursday morning and leave Sunday/Monday after it closes. Thoughts?
Is there any kind of electricity at the campsites themselves or just the power stations scattered around? I was planning on just bringing some small solar batteries to charge our phones at night but also wanted to be able to run a fan and lights like you guys did but I'm unsure of the power situation. How'd you guys power your stuff in the tent?
The Osh series was pretty much the last we made videos. The insane amount of hours to viewer ratio ended up not making a lot of sense. I considered making easier to make videos, but i never liked how they turned out. And we haven’t been back yet sadly!
@@7ZeroProductions you still are one of my favorite UA-camrs. But hey. I understand. No way I would put the time and energy into making them. Just like watching them.

One of the best Oshkosh reveals!!!

Hey man, thanks for being the “regular us” in these videos. Part 6 was awesome. Part 7 was terrific. Nicely done!
#neverbeencamping
That’s what we were aiming for!! Really glad you enjoyed it! Now we’re curious if Oshkosh will even go this year
You did a great job! Exactly what I was looking for.
Great to see someone show what is available and the "How To" for newbies.
Something no others I have seen post.
I've seen 100 videos on the vfr arrival, but I've never seen one on camping at OSH. Now I know! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. This has answered so many questions I had about Oshkosh!
Great video! I’m going to ya it to convince my wife to go camping(glamping) at Oshkosh. Lol
Thank you for one of the most enjoyable and informative videos about Oshkosh. It will make my first time easier I'm sure!
Nicely done! My wife and I flew in and camped at OSH for the first time last year.....sure missed it this year! Brought back good memories, thanks!
Your video hit the nail on the head. Good info on arriving and procedures. Thanks for making this video.
This was excellent. Great information and great set up. Thanks!
Fantastic video, am ready to go to Oshkosh next years, you was very informative, great video.
These guys did a hell of a job. Makes you want to fly to Oshkosh right now!!
Great video. This is the first video I’ve come across that gets into the personal logistics of actually camping at Oshkosh. Very informative. Hope to do this myself when I get my own plane in the near future.
Thanks! That means a lot, exactly what we were going for... we couldn’t find anything before we left on the trip
You had me at Bustelo!
This video is one of the main reasons I'm going to fly into Oshkosh this year! I'm a subscriber and been missing your videos. I hope everything is well and you start creating more awesome videos!
Thank you for another great video! You actually made this look very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to your next video.
Glad you’re enjoying them! And it was a blast!

Thanks for all the behind the scenes details!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I love camping and aviation. Need to find a pilot friend and come to Oshkosh.
What a great video. It just spikes up my desire of attending someday Oshkosh and Sun N Fun. New subscriber here...
Awesome job thank you
Thank you for the video, plenty of information and slow pans of the camera. While I could dispense with the air show a bit more info next time on the merchant displays.
Thank you for that! You have answered many questions I have had....
That’s amazing! I just tried to answer the questions I had in May. It was way easier than I thought
So glad you guys did this !!
Wow I learned a lot from this video. I didn't know: 1) you can camp from an airplane, 2) there are nighttime air shows, and 3) you two are engaged! CONGRATS from Washington state!

We’re glad to be the primer!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for the information!!!
2020 was the year I was going to Oshkosh. 😞. Maybe 2021 🤞🏻. Thanks for the share👍🏻✌🏻🇨🇦. Subscribed
I’ve got the Airventure blues right now. Would’ve been our 4th year in a row. Great vid btw! I got my ppl this June and hope to fly in sometime
Great video. I enjoyed it!
The claw is supposed to be put directly under the aircraft tie-down point. Great video!
Thumbs up for the Bustelo!!!!
Yeeees! A man of culture as well I see
Just because you camp, is no excuse to live like barbarians!!!! 🤣. I prefer the premium blend, but love a Cuban style Cafe’ con leche and if I am feeling it I pour it over two double stuff Oreos for chocolate creamy goodness. LoL
Thanks for the camping info, may try that next year!!!
This is really going to help when we go next year.😀
Going to Oshkosh 2021, after 33 years. Loved your video, despite you’re a Cirrus owner! Lol, we’re pilots!

Hey guys you all going to have a video for this years show?
Oshkosh is the Sturgis of the upperclass😎

Your night show footage is fantastic. You under estmiate your camera.

Oh no power at the actual site. We didn’t expect any power, so we brought batteries
Where have you guys been? Going to OSH this year?

200 lbs? You are glamping. 8-)
Oh yeah, it was serious haha
Clearly, she married you for your Cirrus...
