I've been on a LOTR kick again and I fail an analogy somewhere in this cast and disappoint myself. But not as much as Jimmy disappoints me.

I really appreciate you taking off all the info, numbers from the screen at the best epic fights. Really makes the fights more intense and focused. Gives the cast a different flare!

25:00 Hate to be that guy, but the gap is always more than the worker difference because Terrans always have some not mining because they're building stuff. It's quite a significant income loss without mules to help make it up.
Mules have about 2.5x better mining rate than a scvs and you can basically drop mules one after another expired. So for every orbital, its basically 2 additional scvs if you don't scan too often. Terran basically have the best economy late game when there are equal worker count. However, because Zerg can build workers the fastest, they pretty much are ahead in economy from 5mins onwards all the way until late game by massing a huge bank of resources. Protoss have the best economy for the first 3-5mins of the game, and after that they simply fall behind.
End of game 5 was just an epic sequence of traded gut punches and backbreakers.
Just got into Plat 3 yesterday as Protoss and I have to say many Terrans in Gold practice the 2/1/1 timing to perfection, I lost a few matches in a row to different opponents before I started to learn the counters, after which I found none of them knew how to macro up after their drops fail.

There is Brenda who sometime give her voice but for no-queen purposes
There is Jimmy but Jimmy never speak with Winter's mouth, he only speak in his mind and Winter answer out loud

How about a 'rising lava' map where the lava cuts off the center, and isolates the two non-starting corners as island bases?
The lava starts raised, then lowers ~5 minutes in when cutting off the center to lengthen early-game rush timings is less relevant (the same role that blocking mineral patches play on some maps). And then raises and lowers on a cycle for the rest of the match. Not flooding any 'important' areas, but might make the defense of your fourth easier or harder (or just more interesting to cast) depending on the matchup.
The late great totalbiscuit gave us a lava map and an acid map among other cool designs being played by pros in his shoutcraft clan wars series at a few points, I'm surprised winter had seemingly forgotten that. The lava map was called New Polaris Rhapsody and was used in that event in 2014.
The best competitive design is to have as few outside factors as possible so the lava idea although would be a fun feature would be horrible for competitive play.

Totalbiscuit had some of those rising lava maps in a couple tournaments, where every map had some sort of gimmick.

I watch A LOT of my replays and one thing i keep trying to find is the type of units lost, L show the amount of units lost and the resources but I want to know what unit when.. specifically at 29minutes 26 seconds how do I get that screen? IF ANYONE COULD HELP I WOULD BE EXTREMELY APRECCIATIVE!

i was just remarking how in a 30 minute game it was still close both players were dry and under 30 workers under 100 supply but serral was up and and and
walks his lurkers into a perfect concave of tanks and it's over in a heartbeat

Maru just doesn't die. Nearly impossible to beat in any late game situation. The best way to kill Maru is early on, Rogue style. Roach+Ravager all the way, maybe a ling all in somewhere in there as well, just pick an aggressive strategy and execute it to perfection, otherwise Maru will find a way to come back and win.

Did the math, if they played for exactly the 147 minutes this video is at 420 actions per minute they averaged out at 61,740 actions in this entire video. I wish I could to that many things in a week.

so the lava planet forms the crystals...this planet is young still forming...the gold crystals are just made "out of the oven" crystals...nice & hot while the blue crystals are older ones made who've cooled down over time...

It appears that the Zerg have been nurfed to wet tissue paper. Every game I watch their units just disappear when they cross enemy units
Both the Terrans and Protoss have fast regeneration units, but the Zerg units are only fast at dying.Alot of the games where the Zerg lose, they have most of the map, or at least half, but that never seems to make a difference...

I play Zerg but almost all the time I want terran to win, Is not about I hate Zerg playes if that would've been the case It would means i hate myself, I just when I started playn SC Terran was the first race I played and I love it.

It seems like Zerg has a lot fewer options than Terran in the late game. Or am I just seeing that the Zerg lategame is easier to counter?
