Brava worsted is one of my favorite acrylic yarns! Honestly, everything I've ever tried from WeCrochet is amazing. Their Dishie yarn is one of my favorite cottons and the Swish line is amazing (but pricey!) I love love love how they have so many colors in so many different yarns. I find I often struggle to find yarns that I like the feel of, but also have enough colors that I like, so WeCrochet is amazing. And reasonably priced (the Swish line is reasonable for merino, merino is just pricey). 🧡
I have been drooling over so much stuff on their website! I actually put in another order, lol, but it was just more Brava Worsted. I have been really happy with it!
I love the idea of making a temperature blanket to represent the temperatures during your pregnancy. My oldest is 17 and my youngest is 5. I had two winter babies and two August babies. I might be putting this idea on my to make list.
I haven't yet made a temperature blanket cause having to do it every day but I like your idea of making one for everyday of pregnancy. I will be making one for each of my kids(4) and each of my grandbabies (8). Thank you for the idea.
Beautiful colors I order some of that brava and I don't know it just wasn't as soft as I thought it would be. I like the premier everyday better than Brava...but I do like there swish cotton yarns! I just got a big order from Ice yarns and was affraid I wouldn't like the Saver but was suprised how soft that yarn is..so you just never know until you order it 😃 which I do to much of.
Love the colors you chose. Id love to make a patchwork addi blanket with those colors. Im not familiar with the texture of the brava yarn. Would it be good for a babies blanket? Thanks for the videos. Can’t wait to see your hudson bay video😀
It is nice and soft! I wouldn't hesitate to make a baby blanket with it. It has a similar feel to Hobby Lobby, I Love This Yarn... if you are familiar with that. It isn't quite as thick as ILTY though, it is for sure a 4 weight, but I would call it on the lighter side of a 4 weight yarn.
I absolutely adore your littles! So sweet to see how much they know they are loved...does my heart good. I like the color scheme for your blanket. May I ask what the temperature groupings are for each color? I am assuming Michigan has the potential for huge fluctuations in temperature like Montana does. Also. I have never felt Brava before. Do you think it would make a nice sweater for a child or should I look for a softer yarn? Thanks!
Hi Tracy! I based my temperature ranges on the exact temps from the time period I am working on so here they are, cold to hot. 13°-21° 22°-29° 30°-37° 38°-45 46°-53° 54°-61° 62°-69° 70°-77° 78°-85° 86°-93° The Brava Worsted is nice and soft! I am curious to see how it washes up, but I wouldn't be worried about it for kids items. It is soft enough for littles and it is nice that it is wash and wear for the kids too!
@@YarnatPlay Thanks! We range in temps here from -50° to 110° F. Trying to picture THAT in a blanket...hahaha! I have been trying to find a good worsted yarn for my grandson but it is hard when the nearest yarn shop is 4 hours away. Your input is super helpful!

I tried to find a email for u but didn’t find one.. tried seeing too if a contact button on ur store site.. so need to ask here … I’m looking to get a project bag from ur store site.. like when my hubs bought me my hoodie for Xmas.. 🤪 I was curious on the bags that say I make pretty things with yarn… in pics it shows one side that saying and other side ur Yarn at play.. is that how the bag is .. with each saying on each side of bag? It’s the really pretty rainbow looking bag. 🥰 or actually I guess says I make cute things with yarn 🧶 lol
