His song translations are honestly pretty terrible though; as an ethnic Chinese (living in a democratic country), he uses literal translations and way too many syllables and it just ends up sounding like some bad parody from his original channel. If he wants to translate Chinese songs well, he’s going to have to learn the language.

Think about the $$$ - advertisers are less interested in adult-friendly content and there's no point for google to stain their reputation by allowing explicit content on their site to be monetized. I’m actually worried about him. There was a documentary about a female Chinese content creator and she was under a company who manage content creators and she badly wants to leave but she can’t because the company outright threatens her. This guy, Bart Baker, was my childhood. There are so many happy memories I spent with my friends watching his parodies. It's depressing to know that the person who made me so happy when I was younger is like this now

Also, the "being able to adapt" does not mean you have to diversify your contents, especially if your content are stull being consumed very heavily (like jacksfilms, a shining example of parodies/interactions with fans that have been going on for years now).
Also, for Bart Baker, UA-cam really did screw him over, alongside others as well. That fact of the matter, is, making parodies with even an inkling of a curse word gets you demonitized, and the reason most UA-camrs does not go this way like Bart Baker (essentially selling his souls to the Chinese market) is that they have found alternatives, like streaming, merches, ads, sponsors. Of course, not everyone succeeds in doing so, leading to some people outright leaving UA-cam (Seananners is an example).

I’m actually worried about him. There was a documentary about a female Chinese content creator and she was under a company who manage content creators and she badly wants to leave but she can’t because the company outright threatens her. I’m kinda scared for Bart. I do hope that when he feels like going back to America and stopping this whole clownery, I do hope he can get out of all of these easily.

Migel rothschild I am not very sure at all. But from the documentary that I watched, the girl was threatened that she will lose a lot of money and she will have to pay 10x more than her salary and there were even more threats, that’s why she can’t really leave. I just hope it isn’t the same for Bart since he’s a foreigner but we’ll never really know.
