Relays are a piss poor method to switch fans on and off. The contacts WILL be obliterated over time and miles. Starting current in DC fan motors WILL cause huge current spikes on those relays. It can also blow the diodes in your alternator. Get smart and go with solid state pulse width modulated fan controllers with SOFT START and drive worry free. See www.autocoolguy.com controllers start at 55 amps up to 200 DC amps.

beware this guy is shit talking because he IS autocoolguy.com and he is trying to sell his WAY OVERPRICED controllers by shit talking others, relays have been around since cars and have been used on cooling fans since the early 80's by every single manufacture out there like chevy ford toyota nissan dodge ect ect and are still use today.

@@joeljonn3758 Wow! Are you a jealous competitor or just a pissed off person with a crappy disposition who wants to share your miserable life by bringing down others? Have you even done business with Darryl? My guess is NO because he is an extremely nice guy with a great product and he's available to his customers 7 days a week. He's a U.S. Veteran who fought for our country, so show a little respect. He built these devices as a sole proprietor in the U.S. without using ANY offshore labor. I'm also guessing you've never worked hard enough to come up with an idea and bring it to market either, because it's VERY expensive and very hard. You don't have a clue what this guy has invested in his business, what it takes to produce these devices, all the while, keeping everything made in the U.S.A. The expense of his items is NONE of your business. If you don't want one, don't buy one but you really need to consider the "shit talk" that comes out of your mouth in a public forum.
