The whole Suspension in the ftype is way more modern and Balanced especially in the corners. 599 understeers a lot more. Between the Cars are 10 Years of Development you can feel this. 599 has only 6 gears so motorway cruising is very uncomfortable due to the high revs.

But I still wonder if they handle well against an svr model because its a more advanced f-type r suspension setup. But I still think that the 400 sport is the better for twisty road is that right?
depends on how you pushing the car. if you are pushing to the limit than the V6 is the better choice cause‘ of the weight. Overall you need to consider the power of the V8. out of corners the V8 has defenitely an advantage :)

Interesting question. The 599 was way louder but didnt drive nearly as good as the F-Type. Emotional wise the 599 is unbeleivable.

V8‘s are defenitely heavier, you can feel that in tight corners at the limit that it’s starts to understeer earlier.

Personally I really like the more racy sound of the V6. Apart from that, I would not complain owning a V8.
