Driving a GT4RS the way Porsche intended. For those wondering, yes, this car is too fast for road use. It's why I prefer slower cars for the backroads, they are more fun and easier to enjoy.

I watch a lot of these videos and usually get so off-put by typical douchey driving through windy roads, but I’m happy to say I really enjoyed this video. Very clean driving. Well within the limits of the car, very smooth inputs, and it seemed like you knew the road pretty well.

I have a boxster too, that mid engine gives a really balanced and predictable handling which makes driving around like that really enjoyable.

Lovely road but at those speeds you are relying on luck that nobody is cycling or broken down round the next blind corner. For those a slow in fast out with perhaps a bit of slide might be safer and more fun.
Amazing car and great sound. Pdk is an amazingly quick gearshift.
There is a lot more visibility and predictions around these corners than the camera shows. The pdk is great but I prefer my manual variants for the backroads!!
Judging by the throttle inputs this man really can drive!
Not to take anything away from him but more likely it’s the Porsche PDK system working like a charm.
Throttle input, not gear changes. It's a delicate balance of % throttle vs slip angle, road, steering input, tire pressure, tire temp, etc etc. Car is easy to drive fast though! @@alexcassinelli6651

PDK + torque vectoring controlling wheel spin on all corners...let's not lie to ourselves. the whole point of this supercar is that it's easy to drive and it makes you feel like a marvel super hero. that's what you're paying for.
Put the same dude behind a 700 hp MK4 supra (rwd), or a 550 hp 95 mitsubishi eclipse gsx (awd), both manual, and you have a lot more of a chance to end up wrapped around a tree driving through roads like that.
not to take anything away from the car though 😂 this the future, at least for purely ice vehicles. i dont know this guy, he might be an amazing driver either way...but it's the gt4 rs that's impressive in this video, not him.

The car does help a bit one of Porsche's best track cars evver made. Never underestimate this car because it isn't a 911.

that's kinda the same comment I was about to make.. dude's mostly keeping to his lane and there's not even an inkling of tire squeal, which would indicate driving on/near the edge.
The sound that makes is intoxicating. Nice driving. I thought about getting a GT3 Along side of my LP560 Gallardo but I know the Lambo is better for the street. The Porsche you really cannot enjoy fully.
What year GT3 were you looking to add? GT3 with manual is better for street. More engaging and you rely less on the car’s performance to have fun.

Thanks for noticing. Even though I think this car is too fast for the road to enjoy...some people can't understand that's there is a way to enjoy these cars at times, with moderation and control.
“Spirited” driving like is fun until you’re headed back home and you come up on some kids on their bikes in the middle of the road on a blind corner. It will make you shit your pants whether you’re going the speed limit or not.
Don’t speed in school zones, neighborhoods, or rural areas. Be safe, use your brain.
Just to be clear, I’m giving you a friendly reminder that driving these corners in a non-remote location like this at speed in GT4RS is opening you up to a lot of danger and potential to unalive someone. Stay reasonably safe out there.

This is a stock car. The GT4 or Spyder have different engines and intakes compared to the RS version :)

There are tarmac rally events all over the world (single day through to multi-day national comps). Good drivers take part in these events and often use Porsche GT cars. When caged they are classified by the FIA as "3C PRC Production rally car". Only for the skilled and the brave.

If children or dogs ran free in this area I’d never drive there. Only risk is an ocasional deer, but you can also hit deer on racetracks so it’s a moot point. Country is Isle of Mann

Half the people here complain no speedo, the other half complain having a Speedo because of police… you can peek through wheel and see the gear and speedometer here though. The car touches 4th and 115 in some areas. Too fast for my liking, I prefer a slower car for non track use

Great car and road! But please be safe to others too. There were a few places that you could have killed somebody turning on the road and plowing through their front door.
On these roads the only thing you have to worry about (unless you're blind with no situational awareness) is deer.

It's so fast... and thanks for the comment! I'm only 5'11". I fit easily in this thing. My friend is 6'3" and he has no issues either. Porsche is probably the best and most ergonomic car for tall people unless you're a basketball player. Gt3 is nice if you track all the time because of the engine, but I could smoke just about anyone driving a GT3 in my 2006 Cayman S on a backroad....
