Lovely road but at those speeds you are relying on luck that nobody is cycling or broken down round the next blind corner. For those a slow in fast out with perhaps a bit of slide might be safer and more fun. Amazing car and great sound. Pdk is an amazingly quick gearshift.
There is a lot more visibility and predictions around these corners than the camera shows. The pdk is great but I prefer my manual variants for the backroads!!
Throttle input, not gear changes. It's a delicate balance of % throttle vs slip angle, road, steering input, tire pressure, tire temp, etc etc. Car is easy to drive fast though! @@alexcassinelli6651

PDK + torque vectoring controlling wheel spin on all corners...let's not lie to ourselves. the whole point of this supercar is that it's easy to drive and it makes you feel like a marvel super hero. that's what you're paying for. Put the same dude behind a 700 hp MK4 supra (rwd), or a 550 hp 95 mitsubishi eclipse gsx (awd), both manual, and you have a lot more of a chance to end up wrapped around a tree driving through roads like that. not to take anything away from the car though 😂 this the future, at least for purely ice vehicles. i dont know this guy, he might be an amazing driver either way...but it's the gt4 rs that's impressive in this video, not him.

Just to be clear, I’m giving you a friendly reminder that driving these corners in a non-remote location like this at speed in GT4RS is opening you up to a lot of danger and potential to unalive someone. Stay reasonably safe out there.

If children or dogs ran free in this area I’d never drive there. Only risk is an ocasional deer, but you can also hit deer on racetracks so it’s a moot point. Country is Isle of Mann

There are tarmac rally events all over the world (single day through to multi-day national comps). Good drivers take part in these events and often use Porsche GT cars. When caged they are classified by the FIA as "3C PRC Production rally car". Only for the skilled and the brave.

It’s sad that the manual transmission has been replaced and I get it… faster lap times but I can floor any car that’s automatic but that manual transmission feel is what makes the sports car worth it
Thanks. It’s familiar. You don’t lose traction on the yellows unless you’re on a motorcycle tire and in the rain. You still have 3 other tires that aren’t on painted pavement even if the load % on each tire isn’t the same. And if you do slide in a car on yellow paint… 6” away there is a fresh non painted surface
People talking about how dangerous this is clearly havent seen the state of the uk car scene. To me this looks really safe and enjoyable, fairly closed off country road, not a single car in sight, and not many junctions or anything either. I wish i had roads like that and especially a car like yours, congrats, drive safe.
Thank you. Finally someone gets it. There's a time and a place to do this stuff. I'd never drive like this anywhere other than a deserted road and during the hours when no one travels on it. You can reverse engineer crashes and just avoid all those things to have some fun, but stay safe. For what it's worth though, I hated driving this car on the street because I always felt it was WAY too fast once you start pushing it. The speedometer shoots out mental numbers even though you're only going 8/10ths and leaving a lot on the table.

This is a stock car. The GT4 or Spyder have different engines and intakes compared to the RS version :)
