- Coming Back with another Indian. This time a Chieftain Darkhorse. Check out the challenger video for feedback on electronics and tech. but this air cooled 116 is smooth and delivers good usable power for the long haul. I think its a solid bike.

I have a 2023 Indian Roadmaster. And I couldn’t be happier. I have over 40 years of riding, and most of that was on HARLEY-DAVIDSON’s. You gotta love those Indian bikes.
Ohh man. What made you pull the trigger on an Indian ?
@@NostalgicMotorcycles I had two Harleys and I was willing to trade both in for a brand new motorcycle. My local HARLEY-DAVIDSON dealer was borderline insulting on their offer. Indian treated me better, and I just like the classy style and look of their bikes.

Normally I would say Yes, yes it is, but as the proud owner of a stunning 2019 Indian Springfield in steel gray and burgundy metallic, I got to go with Indian Springfield, Cruiser Heaven, all day, every day!

Honestly the bike that keeps coming back to my mind is the challenger(pursuit more specifically). My reasoning is this, I love to rev and that bike has equal the torque for the chieftain yet has top end power. Revving the challenger is more entertaining (and it’s faster). The ride quality is the same ergonomically they are very similar with the chieftain having a slight bit more heavy handling (it’s still stupid light). The engine is my reasoning. 100% that power plus is my style of engine. I get off and say wow that’s a solid running bike and I’ve ridden several at this point.
Good video. Please at least wear gloves mate. The lightest slide on the road rips your hand apart. And again great video!

I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing. This bike does not have a backrest. Obviously it can be added. Any lumbar support would come from an addition to the seat which will sit above the seat. The arch in the seat would not really effect lumbar support and hopefully your lumbar spine is not shaped like that as ouch lol.

Gotcha !! Yes does a great job keeping you in place. Flat seats are not as comfortable for sure.

Always need slips ons lmfao. But that’s personal opinion. It sounds decent. Idle you can’t hear the exhaust. Very much and there is a little noise in the rev. It’s still a doctors exhaust. Next to another bike or road noise you won’t hear it. In a full face helmet the bike has a slight humm but in a windy day you wouldn’t be able to hear it in a full face.
