Really like these battle reports. I haven't looked too closely at OPR stuff until just recently and these batreps have me itching to try fantasy skirmish. Been pretty impressed with the ruleset from what I've seen.
Great models, great table, great game! You and Miss Lynn tell such fun stories with these toy soldiers. I love the creative twist of this game it’s evocative and dynamic.
Sheesh it’s getting so a peaceful hog can’t spend a quiet morning grazing without a bunch of armoured hooligans turning up and killing each other. Don’t they have food markets?
Thanks for the game! How do you like Space Weirdos compared with other skirmish games? I'm a newbie, and I'm thinking about starting with Space Weirdos, as it seemes to be pretty easy to learn, and Sci fi is my thing. That said, is there another skirmish game you prefer for Sci fi?
Hi Bryan. Every game is different and it all depends on what you're looking for. Space Weirdos is excellent for small games with low model counts. For medium sized games, we've been playing Grimdark Future Firefight. If you want a narrative game, Stargrave is probably a good option. If you're looking for a solo RPG type game, I hear good things about Five Parsecs from Home and Space Station Zero. But to answer your question, if you're just getting started, you really can't go wrong with Space Weirdos or GFF.
Great looking game. Thanks for showing it off.
Must be great to have someone you can play with at will. Your videos are always entertaining.
Well I wouldn't say "at will." Our games usually have to be scheduled well in advance, sometimes at odd hours. We do what we can.

The Alchemists of Dirz, my favorite Confrontation faction! 👍👍
Awesome stuff... Pigs & Squigs... Tastes like chicken...

Love the video as always, especially like the visuals that you add in. Thanks for the videos!
Fun stuff, now are the squigs of this world made of fungus? Will they taste like mushrooms?
That’s a good point. Perhaps they’re the vegetarian option. Still grill up nice though.
Like truffles. It's why the wild hogs were found in the same location. They were sniffing for squigs.
-Hey Boss we lost the Sorceres and nearly all tropps but we got one pig.
-Good job heat the grill.
So good. I just want barbecue now.

Some spells do seem especially deadly.

@@oldhammered Great answer, thanks!
Nice game, where did you guys get that game mat? also is it 48x48 size? Thanks
That is a 3x3 grasslands mat from Frontline Gaming, but I believe it’s available in several sizes.
@@oldhammered Awesome, I need to pick one up. Thank you for the reply.
You always put on great games, but too many commercials/ads makes it lose the specialness of your games.
Say what you want about the Confrontation game itself; those minis were 🤌🔥. I bought three of the two-player sets just to use the minis in D&D.
