One tip when it comes to creating the "netlfix" look most Netflix original shows seem to have. Grade the video in P3 HDR and create an Rec.709 SDR Trim from the HDR version. You'll be blown away by how much better and professional the end result looks
@@BrockRoberts It's style. It's yours. If you are looking at 10 monitors and people can pick yours out... style. I like it. There is such thing as bad style obviously.
@@jjfilms3033 thanks man!! I do on occasion. Really depends on the project & the camera. I use them more on my R6II since it’s sometimes too sharp and I want to soften it up a bit
@@BrockRoberts awesome, it looks like a much bigger setup, bravo! I recently got the Sigma 24-70 for the IS so this makes me want to be ballsier with handheld :) cheers!
Saturation is unnatural high. Magenta in the shadows. At 00:57 api have to hit that talent with light. Window middle frame is creating a tangent on his face,.
@@BrockRoberts What? You posted you edits on your channel and give people advice. If you don't see it then good for you. Look at the ungraded footage vs what you graded and tell me I am wrong. You are not a colorist. If you create a channel and talk the footage that you shoot, edit and grade, up like it was a Netflix type job then take advice from people that don't kiss your ass. Make a video and ask people how your grades look and what can be improved. By the way if we were on a gig together I would say the same thing. Take a lesson and alway try and learn and get better. Also, why are you making You Tube content? So you can make money or stroke your ego. You might talk you clients into liking you content but I am not a client.
@@contentm3893 bro…lol I never claimed to be a colorist first of all. I make videos on here to hopefully help people and as a place for a creative outlet. I don’t claim to know everything (if you watched some of my videos you’d know this). I just share what I do know and my journey as I grow and get better. You’re commenting being critical when nobody else is being negative. Plus who made you the “expert” anyway? If you don’t like it, don’t watch. 🤷🏼♂️ Not trying to get my ego stroked at all. If you watched some more of my stuff, you’d see that. I’m just here for fun and hopefully to help people if I can along the way.
Had a blast on this one! Really liked being able to be a less “commercial” with the lighting! Let me know your thoughts!
I love the visuals of the C70. At least as you produce them. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!!
Well done!
Thanks bro!
Lighting is Key! (pun intended)
the lighting and color grade look incredible!
Appreciate it!!

True! I have heard this!
I could have seen a screengrab with no text and knew this was your LUT. It's your thing.
Haha nice!! That’s good thing I guess!

Vicious bro.
Thanks man!

Right??
Interesting grading choice - I just got a C70 and cutting my teeth on Clog 2. Very happy with the camera so far
Like I said it was my interpretation of it! Really was digging the warmer look!
Glad you love the camera! It’s killer!
@@BrockRoberts Needless to say coming from a 4.2.0 8-Bit C100 M2 (still a great camera!) this has been a HUGE upgrade
Super informative as always bro. Thanks for dropping the knowledge
Do you ever really use mist filters on your lenses at all or na?

Beautiful work as always! So was that a one light setup? Also were you handheld on the C70 with stabilised glass?
Thanks! Nah it was a 2 light setup. The key and then the light coming through the window. I was handled with stabilized glass!
@@BrockRoberts awesome, it looks like a much bigger setup, bravo! I recently got the Sigma 24-70 for the IS so this makes me want to be ballsier with handheld :) cheers!
@ShotByMyles thanks!! I love handheld! I shoot it most of the time!
@@BrockRoberts would be cool to see some BTS if that opportunity ever comes about, love your work!
@@ShotByMyles definitely will have to do that!
