I'm looking forward to driving it on the road. Gotta fix the brakes next and get the carb rebuilt.

    Nice !!
With a little research you are now qualified as a Ford electrical technician...Lol
Isn't it great the way things were so simple back in '77 ?? The whole fuse box holds maybe 10 fuses, not like todays rides with 30 or more. I miss the old days !!

Yes, pretty simple. Its funny how the 1972 had even less fuses than that. Thanks for watching.

nice work. on a side note it looks like you may still have a blown fuse in case you find another problem. Cool truck for sure. Thanks for the video.

when my 76 F150 emerg flasher or signals didnt work, first i checked all the fuses and 2 were out.
then the flashers kinda worked flashing once every 5 secs or so.
then i found the flasher and it was so rusted once terminal wouldnt even come off it was SO RUSTED
it wworked but it 48 yrs old and very tired.
SO 16 bucks for two packages of fuses and 10 for flasher and it was fixed which is SOOO much better than replacing $180 signal switch in column

Hey the video is great. Straight forward and informative! I have a 79 step side I'm struggling with right now. Where did you find the wiring diagram? Is it possible if you could please send me a digital copy? I have head, turn and running lights. No brakes or hazard. The break switch is good.

Eric Pierce I did a google search to find a wiring diagram. You might have a bad ground. Just a guess.

My 77 has the turn signal flasher unit glued to the fire wall, 4" from the headlight switch behind the gauge cluster. I would have never found it without taking out the panel and unhooking the left AC vent it was behind. There is no way to reach it other wise.
