Thanks for this video. I just replaced the turn signal/horn wiring harness. The tool for removing the wires from the plugs made the job a lot easier! That saved me a lot of cutting and crimping of wires. I found that the best way to do it (for me) was to only take out one wire at a time and replacing it before taking out the next wire. Thanks again.

I would have just bought a turn signal switch that fit my column.

Great information but, the focusing is a little distracting.
I have a '62. I think mine will be similar.
    Thanks for posting.

I didn’t add the wiring specifically because it can change year to year. I would just reference your factory wiring with the new set up.

I rewired a 1974 peugeot so I think I can follow what you're doing. Now here's where you have a choice to make a change but how do you make that change. Most of vintage pickup trucks have a reverse light tucked in the red brake light you want to change that right reverse light into a turn indicator so that you can put a yellow bulb in there I no longer have a dim bright turn indicator with the red brake light then add auxiliary reverse lights anywhere else on the back of the truck you want. You could double up the leads going to the front turn indicators and send them to the back separately Maybe? Or is there a simple wire swapping that could be done from the column switch harness. I'm trying to do it to my 76 Ford LTD to turn the reverse lights into yellow blinkers and have the brake lights no longer tied into my turn indicators then with the bumper tuck the Lincoln Continental rear bumper on it from The Mark 5 that has built-in reverse lights. I want to have 4 pairs of 1156 plugs each pair is for one function. So I have2 light bulbs, 2 parking red bulbs 2 brake light bulbs and 2 turn indicator bulbs. If you follow how to make this change let me know in a reply to comments. I saw a numbered mustang plug that had wires numbered 3 and 4 went to the front blinkers and 8 & 9 went to the rear blinkers. How to segregate blinkers out of the brake light circuit.
