    Loved your video. It is so interesting to see all the necessities you bring.
    Be carefull with your mirror. When we went to Bonaroo they were confiscating mirrors as glass.

      Thank you! ❤️
      They are definitely not allowing glass in this fest either, but luckily this is an acrylic mirror!!
      I totally understand the rules but it does make packing difficult!!

    Given that my name is Angel, wearing the flower halo is a given, but after my first Electric rainForest: be wary of wearing these battery-operated halos in the rain, as they will short out, and can potentially ZAP your scalp!!!! 😭😭😭 kinda feels interesting, but probly not so healthy... i just reminisce upon Jack Nicholson in Anger Management with his hair follicle zapper... maybe it stimulates hair growth? anyway, it leaves you itchy for a month wherever you got zapped!

    Are the porta potties always disgusting?

    • @AMothersNature
      @AMothersNature  9 місяців тому

      Depends on the time of day you’re going in there. At some festivals I’ve been to they are disgusting the whole time. At hulaween they are almost always well taken care of. At electric forest they didn’t clean them until later in the morning and they would be so full they were overflowing. It’s really just a crap shoot (no pun intended 😂).

      Besides the potty bucket you mentioned, my gf is worried about the porta potty’s. She tells me there’s always pee on the seat and she doesn’t want to sit even if it looks clean. I’m lucky since I can just pee in the urinal. What should I do for her?

    • @AMothersNature
      @AMothersNature  5 місяців тому

      Bring a pack of disinfectant wipes and and small pack of tissues. Use the wipes to clean the seat and the tissues are backup toilet paper if it’s out!

      @Matt-xh6rm 5 місяців тому

      When you said they were so full at electric forest, they’d be overflowing, what’d you do?

    • @AMothersNature
      @AMothersNature  5 місяців тому

      @@Matt-xh6rm that happened first thing in the morning when we woke up- so basically just had to wait for them to clean them. It was not the best situation! You can also look into getting her a “shewee” so she can pee standing up! Lol it’s kinda like a funnel. That might help her out a bit also! The bathroom situation is really the least glamorous part of festival life- I have to say! But we camp a lot outside of festivals, too, so roughing it isn’t really a big deal anymore. I’ve peed in the woods more time than I can count. Lol.

    I loved all the tips. But I’m sorry if you are trying to be environmentally friendly why use the Halloween spider webs that stuff is horrible for wildlife

    • @AMothersNature
      @AMothersNature  2 місяці тому

      We don’t leave it outside or even throw it away, I collect it back up and shove it in my camel bak. I actually reused it as a part of my winter village decorations later that year lol. And then reused it again to make a giant spider web decoration at home the following Halloween. It’s still in a box in my shed!
      But aside from that it’s a really fun way to connect with others in the crowd and make great memories 😊

    thats way too much prepping for a festival. Why do americans always go so bulky? was hoping for something chill not bringing with you half the home in a huge car.

    • @AMothersNature
      @AMothersNature  6 днів тому

      I certainly can’t speak for ALL Americans, lol, but personally We like to be safe, comfortable and prepared. I feel more relaxed and have more fun when I pack this way. We are usually at a festival for around 5 days and that’s long enough for me to feel justified in the amount of effort I put into packing. Most of it we absolutely make use of, and other things are “I hope we don’t need this but want to have it just in case”. I also don’t like bothering other people for things that I should have brought myself- which is honestly all too common amongst folks who have a really lax attitude when it comes to packing.
      Obviously you are free to do what you want, and I’m not really sure why you felt the need to comment here- if you think it’s too much, don’t follow the advice. Commenting what you did really only serves the purpose of being rude and judgmental- maybe save your energy for more productive and positive interactions?
