These videos are perfect. No unnecessary commentary for newbies, quiet games, relaxing yet always captivating. One can see the players reactions and the general dynamic/tension during the game.
I am surprised that Ding won this. May be Magnus blundered badly. Otherwise he was playing the perfect chess. As soon as Ding played g6, Magnus started working on punishing that move. Though in hindsight it seems that perhaps that was a bait that Ding threw. The fact that after playing g6, he ran away with the king, and also didn't use g6 any further, proves that his only aim of playing g6 was to lure Magnus, put up a fake defence of g6, eventually letting Magnus win it, and then launch an attack on the opened g file. Mission accomplished.
I was thinking the same, but Ding wanted to retired ,and ended that he classified to the candidates and he won against Nepo lol and after being world champion what? Nothing to prove, even against Gukesh, I'm with Ding, he is stronger.
No , ding will happily exchange queens on f5 because that will open his light square bishop , then push pawn to F2 while the rook is defended by that bishop , threatening mate too with rook g1 double check (rook+bishop)
Because then he'd lose faster. There wasn't a clean exchange anywhere except to lose. The pawn and tower position on G2 an G3 were too powerful. He pretty much already lost there. If he exchanged it'd be -12 for black. He kept it at -5 by moving his pawn. He could try to go for an exchange, but that doesn't change G2 and G3. He could've sacced his queen for the tower, but that once again wouldn't change the score. However he should've taken the pawn when the tower moved at the end, instead he moved his bishop which lost him the game. The blunder magnus made was by taking the pawn with his queen instead of positioning his tower to counter G2 and G3. Then he could've taken the pawn for a saver position.
Ding has been making top engine moves for so long makes me think that he is probably cheating. (using a spy chinese device and someone is telling him the engine moves)? Carlson has been playing human moves on the other hand.

Chess commentary is overrated.
Ding used Carlsens' attack perfectly.
Classic example of playing your opponent, not the board.
Ding just waited for him to make a mistake. What a solid player. Thats the only way to beat him.
Great commentary by the way.
Please. Add the date of competition .
I remember this match took place many years ago.
When and where did it take place?
Brutal game and smart commenting.
that runing king win time..... and... surprise magnus.... in the midle game.. and after time presure... tacktiks
No commentary makes it feel like a jump scare is coming
Plays the Castalla opening!!
Masterpiece
Full respekt begge2 mr🇧🇻⚘❤🙏
Good game ...👍

the bishop's suicide in the beginning..
Yeah, I’m a beginner and didn’t understand that move at all. Does anyone know why he thought that was worth?
@@GinoNL ruin pawn structure because lacked a more solid move, and it wasn't suicide it was a trade.
Nerves of steel it seem like, it seem like magnus was making light work of ding Loren, but he held and sprung his trap, that was tremendous
Ding is legendary
The way im used to commentary, eish
Ding Liren came nor with a fighting sprit just arrived hopless man 👨
When was this game?
Yesterday
Er macht einfach sein Ding
Go Ding!
Why they end the game?
Time
Checkmate next move with the black queen
What are you watching.....ding will checkmate him
This was years ago.
Really? I was wondering because no one covers these games at the current time
Old match or new match
old match.
Cuando Ding podía hacer algo. Espero se recupere.

Did Carlsen blunder with that rook sacrifice?
No that move was ok, main mistake was 27. Qxg5 and then 30.Qe5
I don't understand that end
. Who won?
Ding Liren won
Ding
M1 There.... and Abandon...
With the pawn so far advanced, protecting the rook, it's mate next. Ding has certainly received a boost by being W Champ. He's playing like a W Champ.
Магнус сдался
Интересно почему Магнус ферзей не стал менять ведь была же такая возможность?
Si si, también la vi

g6-g5!!
Why not Qxf3 on the last min
If Qxf3-Rxb2 piece down
What you have to do to beat Magnus.
Train more than him
Probably star moving your piece
You need to be ding
Be a world champion
Have an IQ degree higher than him
This game show why Magnus afraid to play World Championship with Ding. Like a Fisher afraid Karpov! Fisher also refused to play
In case you have forgotten, Ding was second in the candidates.
Did you see a score? Afraid of who?
@@letsgo915 did you see who is champion today?
@@user-nt2lq2yc9t lol, goat is boring of being world.champ
Who won?
Ding of course
Why not exchange queen Magnus I don’t know 🤷♀️ why
he's a noob.

Good try by Magnus, but Ding clearly is the better player.
This game only clown.
That was horrible play by Magnus, he sacked the rook for nothing, he went for some too risky plan
ding has always been magnus kryptonite
really? look at the score
11:44 Queen f5?
Qxf5, exf5, Rxc2, and white resigns as the bishop in b2 is hanging and you can’t stop f2 with a discovered checkmate
Bye bye magnus....

Magnus completely and definitively lost his World title after this game.
