Girl, you hit some of my fav brands. I love Shescentit, Obia Naturals, Nature Little Secret, and Camille Rose, and I am a twist-out girl. I have tried the Obianaturals shampoo bars, and they are really good. I love the neem one. It latters well and leaves my hair feeling really good. Alikay, black soap shampoo tore my hair up. I do not like it at all. If I had to choose a different brand a day, I would choose mmm

Love that Eden bodywork’s lavender collection, very much ❤quick question, KINDA OFF topic 😁 u mentioned Camille rose curl maker and it was just ok, I been wanting to try it but since I love UFD Curly magic I never tried the Curl maker cuz if it ain’t broke …. I know they get constantly compared n just wanted your thoughts on that are they similar or not.

You picked some great brands. I like something from every brand you chose. Camille Rose Curl Maker is similar to UFD as far as texture and hold, imo. People either love UFD or CurlMaker, I don't usually see people love both. With that said, most who compare them, like me, don't love either. They are just ok to me and neither are staples. They don't give me the look or hold I am going for alone and I prefer not having to top my gels with harder holding ones or using them as primers. That's just a personal preference; plus with UFD I get dusting which I don't like. I know this is a long answer but I wanted to be clear on why I don't care for them so taking my reasons into consideration may not be the best. Both have slip but I think Camille Rose may be a little harder hold on its own where I think people get more moisture from UFD. Hope that helps.

Hey Rae, Great information as always. I prefer my product on the ground. Even thought I have try a few different brands. My favorite are the OG brands. 1. Camille Rose - for soft fuller look. Kinky Curly - for those lazy days, because it just last. I would like to try Curl Orgins because the gel is weigtless, I am hoping they have a sale soon. Aunt Ice curls look interesting on you, does it have a strong sent? I know the Flexseed one does. Thanks for sharing , I appreciate you🥰
I understand wanting to get your products on the ground; definitely more convenient at times. I don't think Ice Curls has a strong scent but everyone's tolerance is different. Thanks for sharing your favorite brands.💛
Hey Rae, love this video and your hair. I went back to the Eden Body Works review. What did you do differently? Your hair is more defined than the previous video.
Hi Nicole! In the previous video, it was my first time using the products so I was very lighthanded with the leave-in and the gel because I didn't want flaking. I also added water to make sure they didn't flake. Therefore, I didn't get as much definition but I was ok with that because I like big hair and my hair felt awesome. Now, when I use the products, since I know they don't flake, I usually don't add water and I use the amount of gel I want because I don't worry about flaking. I get more definition but still no crunch. Hope that helps. I may do a whole video on it since I know that the previous video lacks definition that most people want. Love your videos! With you doing a lot of wash and go have you experience any problems with your hair having spitting up the hair length of you hair strands like some of the other UA-cam?
Thank you! No, I haven't experienced that but I didn't follow the BGC 30 day detox either. I don't do a lot of curly cuts and I use leave-in and deep conditioner so I haven't had any issues. Thanks for tuning in.

Have you used the Eden Bodyworks creme? I try to stay away from gels but would be interested in trying the Eden bodyworks brand.
Which cream? They have a few.
It's called Eden BodyWorks Curl Defining Creme. Supposed to have a medium hold.
Love your choices! My five are:

• As I Am: smoothing gel
• Curl Mix: frangrance free growth oil, fragrance free conditioner, fragrance free moisturizer
• Miss Jessie's: Curly Butter Cream, Baby Buttermilk
• Qhemet Biologics: Amla & Olive Heavy Cream; Olive & Honey balm
• Eco: Olive Oil gel
• Alodia: Flourish oil; Healthy Hair & Scalp Oil

You picked some good brands. I've never tried Aveda but I've heard good things. I do have the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control but haven't used it yet. I'm a little scared; I think it will flake or not be strong enough for my hair so I keep pushing it to the side. I don't have a leave-in from that line; can you suggest one that will work with the Advanced Climate Control gel?
