UA-cam is slowing down for a lot of content creators that I watch. This channel is one of them. I hope you guys stay strong are able to keep it going! Don’t fall back into restaurant life! Keep working for yourselves!
I've noticed the same. The viewer count went way down (before changing studios) and they have a ton of subscribers. Any ideas why? I thought maybe the height of pandemic was when this channel peaked with their emergency sushi recipes. Now, that it's no longer 2020 this channel slowed down.
@@chon9527 There’s only so many times you can show tuna and salmon. My guess is a lot of recipes got repetitive and the content got stale. I love it though, so I’ll still watch every single upload. Personally, I’m not really a fan of the partnership with Mike/Soseki. Not saying it’s a good or bad thing, just that I don’t really care for that content. UA-cam has just slowed down for many content creators, not just Hiro. The algorithm is always changing and channels need to be able to adjust to keep the views coming. In my experience, with all the hours I’ve put into UA-cam, it seems a lot of channels hit their peak with their first couple years and start to taper off around the 10 year mark. It’s just the way UA-cam life goes. That’s why most UA-camrs try to use the money they make from UA-cam and invest it into something outside of UA-cam.
@@vn.ninefive I’m not a fan of partnerships in general (and particularly can’t stand Guga, so any video with him is a hard pass.) It was just more fun when it was two regular goofballs having fun with food. Still love these guys and the channel, but it’s not at all what it once was - why I’d subscribed way back.

I miss seeing GOOD AFTERNOON Diaries videos at 4:00 am. This recipe was so creative and different and is so easy to do at home. Thank you camera man for allowing Hiro san to sleep. So glad the both of you made it home safely before hurricane Milton.
Thank you both for the video of the food obviously looks good that was quite a driving trip. If you don't want to fly to somewhere close try the train if there's one available. That's what I do when I travel from DC to New York

Worry not, they've been rolling on some old money for a while and do a lot of cattering it seems
The channel is pretty dead now. Once they left the studio it went downhill from there.
