Refreshing indeed, but visitors must understand that what is cheap to them may be expensive to those earning South African rands. Our annual salary increases do not match the high inflation rates. The higher than ever exchange rates go a long way to make things even cheaper for visitors, but many locals have to tighten their belts...Not trying to be negative - just giving a realistic context for tourists. Don’t care what anyone says. South Africans are by far some of the friendliest people around. That’s what makes us special 🇿🇦 Glad U guys are making the most of your time in Joburg. Positive vibes.
South Africans mistreat foreigners from other neighbouring countries a lot. Just a couple of days ago i saw a video of a driver being told to run away leaving his truck because he was allowed to drive it in South Africa. That can't happen in Zambia. I am not saying we did not have crime here but South Africa is on another level. We can't even forget xenophobia.
@@HenryChitaika ohhh you also forgot to mention that foreigners also mistreat south African and for get that this is not their country, they also don't follow south African laws. The other day I saw a video of Nigerian harassing a police officer because he basted them selling drugs.

Being from South Africa myself, we truly appreciate the wonderful feedback you've given on our country. All journalists around the world always focus on the negative, breath of fresh air seeing some good positive feedback provided on a country we love....warts and all❤
Great review. Please note that we, South Africans hate load shedding. We did not always have it. We have basically been experiencing an incompetent and corrupt government that has messed up a lot of things.. and we hope to get rid of em next year when we vote. Glad you loved your experience :)
You won't get rid of the corrupt and incompetent government because the good patriotic voters that care about the country's future are enormously outnumbered by stupid brainless fools that only vote for the ANC or EFF
Please tell everyone to vote DA, as seen in the Western Cape, they get things done. Think if the DA wins next election, loads of the billions of' Rands stolen will be confescated and put to great use to end loadshedding for good, fix the potholes and the rest of the infrastructure, and end unemployment overnight cause they will need people to help build up our beautiful country.
You guys are so friendly. So heartwarming to hear positive things about my country. Sidenote: in Woodstock, Cape Town, there is a Cannibas market weekly. The venue is opposite the police station 😊
Really impressed by your content on South Africa. The media really scares people with their content on South Africa, we truly have a beautiful country with beautiful people!
I'm a South African, currently working in Asia and you are so right about the cost of living. I compare everything and find that the cost of living in SA is sooo low compared to here. When people hear that we are from SA they get such a shock, firstly they cannot believe that SA has white people (lol) and secondly they assume that Africa is rural and don't realize how westernised South Africa really is 🙂 Despite everything that our country has been through, we really have warm and friendly people in South Africa. My husband and I always say how we miss just walking past a random stranger and getting a smile or greeting. Thanks for the video of our Beautiful country 🇿🇦 PS. You should visit Durban (my hometown) if you are looking for warm weather during the winter, and while you're there, try a bunny chow 🌶🙂
Thank you guys for your wonderful positive true outlook without criticism view of my country. Yes, I am a white South African, I see what you see and I am not proud of what my country is experiencing. Please go and enjoy the beauty that this country has to offer, look past the negatives. Enjoy. We need this kind of exposure.
Now these are the people we want to unite with..not those ones who tell us day and night that they can wait for our country to collapse so that we can suffer like them. These are genuine ppl from where I'm standing. Thank God there is black race out there that understands us. God bless them!!
🌚You've just earned yourselves a subscriber, not everyone speaks like you about SA. I'm a South African, and I must say, it's good to hear something positive about your country. ❤
Bucket hats spotties are actually more rooted in Pantsula culture of SA. It's an old style of dance and way of dressing. Research Pantsula dance. Beyonce and Salonge also featured it in their music videos. It's uniquely South African bred. It's been around for decades.
bullshit. "we" do not all love our country. i cant stand living here and the sooner i get out of this clown-run hell-hole the better. crime, incompetence, and HIGH PRICED ELECTRONICS - i dont know what electronics you guys were looking at, but my RTX 4090 just cost me $2000 and that was the cheapest one i could find from a reputable supplier. to hell with this place! e-coli in the water, no electricity, sleeping in fear of being killed or raped every night.. no thank you.. this is 3rd world at best. i hate south africa
this is so great!! As a local joburger it is so awesome to see people actually experiencing our city as opposed to just passing thru. Such honest commentary. Thanks for sharing
Greetings from Cape Town South Africa, Thank you for giving an honest and positive report of South Africa, Next time you must visit Cape Town, you will love it. I lived here for 55 years and despite load shedding and what ever negative things people tell you, the people are nice, the weather is perfect, the natural beauty, the mountains, the sea, the beaches, the wine lands, the countryside, the food, it’s all fantastic. I love living here.
I love you family the fact that you are smart you know how to speak about African countries , you show appreciat what they have achieved and you want to be the part of success of Africa. Thank you all love.🇿🇦🙏❤
Spoti - correct👍🏽 South Africa is heavily influenced by the US It does get really cold here, so yes you'll need warmer clothes and you'll realise that the season clothes in stores are winter clothing Our African brothers complain about that the most 😂the cold winters in South Africa
Ispoti came from ispansula or amapansula I was born in 1976 and it was popular then with my parents generations as ispoti. Infact ispoti influenced the Hiphop culture via Mosdef. Remeber he stayed here.
Theres this spoti brand called Thesis based in Soweto and mosdef exported that brand which was featured in a newyork hiphop group music video. Since then buckets hats became a major thing in hiphop.
Thanks family for kind words regarding our country. We love you guys so much and you are 100 % welcome to make South Africa your home. We welcome you guys and you look just like South Africans. We are such a diverse country and you guys fit in here 100 %. We love you beautiful family!
@@livingfaith9189 what do you mean? Black Americans are Africans…..so what welcoming are you talking about? Black Americans respect South African blacks and they come to South Africa legally. They don’t get involved in criminal activities. Black Americans talk about opening businesses here in SA and empower South Africans. So, such africans like this AFRICAN AMERICAN COUPLE who speak highly of our country and it’s people are 100% welcome here in SA. DO You get it?

As a South African myself, it was incredible to see such a positive review of the country. Unfortunately this doesn't fully reflect South Africa as there is a lot of poverty, crime and gbv in the northern cape. But I'm glad you're enjoying your time in South Africa and I hope that it continues. I haven't seen if you've been to Caoe Town but it's really beautiful and hopefully you will be able to see why I love this country as much as I do even though it has many faults.

First time I have seen your channel and thanks for an honest report of South Africa. Nice to hear your view of our beautiful country and no 'sugar coating' it. Hope you had a super time here.xx.
If you want to experience more weather conditions in South Africa atleast visit 3 Cities Joburg, Durban and Cape Town. Joburg is dry because is inland, you'd barely breath in Durban but trust me your skin will be soft as a baby skin and it's barely cold there. Much love ❤️ 🇿🇦
Every south African city. Walk in to the convenience store and ask what you need for the weather. Because we have all of the weather types in incroments.
Most of us know a great deal about American movies and music. Yes some things that are here in SA are related to American way life that make tourists feel more comfortable. Fast food chains like Mcdonalds, Subway, KFC, Popeyes etc. also add familiarity to tourists
Thank you for being so honest about what you have experienced here in South Africa. The good and the bad and the ugly. Hopefully our politicians will take note of what tourists experience and do something about it. Especially thé loadshedding etc. May you have experience more of all the good things and beautiful things in our country and may it outweigh the bad stuff!!! Thank you so much for all the positive and it is good to hear it in a new way from you guys, so we can appreciate what we have here!!! Shalom and may God bless you guys!!!!
Watching from TZ. I’m glad you two came back to the continent. Thank you for continuing to show us Africa. Seeing it through your honest lenses is refreshing. All praises to TMH for you two.
We in SA often hear so much negativity in the local news, and other media. It is refreshing to hear positive things from an outside perspective for a change. Tx guys for this.
It's a pity you haven't been to Cape Town and the lovely wine farms there. I would say the atmosphere there is more Europe like and spectacularly beautiful when you drive outside of Cape Town to the beautiful wine and olive farms. Also visit towns like Stellenbosch(wine farms) Knysna(with huge forests) Franschoek(wine) Paarl(wine) if you go to Cape Town. The stretches of beach and coastlines left and right side from Cape Town is also beautiful. On the West Coast in the Cape you will find small fishing villages where the fishing boats depart daily and you can buy the catch of the day when they return from the sea. The ocean in the Cape the water is cold, but where the Indian and Atlantic ocean meet for a warm swim i the ocean you need to go to Umhlanga or other Natal beaches. The Drakensberg mountains are also in Natal.
We've never had a problem with load shedding before hence electric stoves it is a challenging issue we are currently struggling with but there are project on the way by government and private sector are working hard to change the situation. It is the winter indeed, because of the altitude and also it is inland hence it is dry for your lips I'd suggest you use Zambuk it is very helpful. Provinces that are on the coastline like Durban for example has total different weather patterns the winter is not that cold, since it is by the Indian Ocean which is warm and humid
Yes exactly, it's not something we thought we'd have to get used to. Hence electric everything. And the plan is to get rid of it not adapt to it. Its something we all hate
If you want to experience that warm humid air from the East coast, you should consider Durban, it’s on the Indian ocean, so it’s warmer all year round. Still colder than other parts of Africa though.
@@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFEYou must stay in Umhlanga! Beautiful and safe, I never felt safer in my life, walking from my hotel to town and back at midnight, even walking on the beach at night
Thank you for this lovely SA review! I’m glad people outside of Africa are realising that we don’t actually have wild animals running around all our streets! Well, on occasion we have a crazy story to tell with a wild animal from a zoo or the lost baboons from the mountains, but other than that, it’s just our tame pets. 😅❤
Great content as usual guys. Joburg is situated almost 2km above sea level, that's why your skin and lips gets so dry, especially in winter. A lot of alcoholic beverages such as wine, beer, brandy whiskey, ciders, etc are produced in SA, that's why you see so much diversity in liquor stores. You are correct that there are so many business opportunities here and potential for business growth and expansion is great. I hope you guys get to explore more and wish you nothing but the best. Looking forward to your next video. Shalom.
@@cyrus6867 this beautiful family is still exploring South Africa. They recently arrived in Joburg and still need to visit other parts of South Africa such as Cape Town and Durban. This is the most positive and exciting review I have ever heard about an African country. I went to South Africa 14 years ago. It as an absolute amazing experience. You really motived me to go back agin after watching this video
Good stuff, my brother. The opportunities in SA are endless, if you explore the country you will realize that everywhere in SA is similar. You can find someone in deep Eastern cape or kwazulu natal, who was born in that area and grew up there, educated there, got a job in the same area, built a house and buy a new car , still at his home village, what am trying to show you is that you can make it anywhere in SA, unlike our other African countries where everyone have to go to the big cities for opportunities . Myself who migrated to SA from Uganda now over 22 years ,i can tell you there's no country that was going to provide me the opportunity of making money and still being respected snd feeling at home, because in America or Europe as a black person you can make big money but still treated like trash, like you are nobody. The most important thing with SA is that it has the same level of freedom like USA, many of our African countries are ruled by dictators, South Africa is completely different, freedom of speech, African American should first look into the political landscape of the country, because you can invest into the country and then the war broke out and you lose everything, just like what's happening in sudan. Example 2, Many African Americans are going to Rwanda but the country is run by a dictator same with my home country Uganda and those countries are sitting on a time bomb . the other good thing about SA is that it is a big playing field. unlike some smaller countries where you can get bored quickly , during winter you can go to the warmer side of the country which is Durban, and you will find the mentality of the people completely different from any other African countries, and people party Monday to Sunday
Thank you so much. Especially as a fellow African. We get nothing but hate from Africans who don't live with us. God bless you for sharing the truth when you have the opportunity.
Thank you brother Abdul for sharing your experiences in South Africa as a fellow African. Thank you for your positive contribution and for understanding and respecting the laws of our country. I hope your comment can educate all our fellow Africans who speak ill of South Africa but have never been here. You are a testimony of a fellow African brother who have lived in SA for over 2 decades. All of the best with your future plans and may you continue to prosper in Mzansi. Shalom
Wow guys I'm a South African from Joburg and I just love your videos. I had a chance to be in Uganda and Rwanda for two years and I can relate to your experiences. Kigali was awesome. I remember landing back home and the moment I got out the plane I took a huge breath and to my surprise the air was so dry. . .lol this amazed me as I never really thought that the home air was like this lol. Buy Zam-buk😂
Thank you for the amazing positive feedback on our beautiful country. Re: the face fonts/ gold teeth/ mouth decorations. This is a cultural thing from the Cape Flats in Cape Town that started in the 60’s. I don’t know if you guys are familiar with seeing certain people in Cape Town with their 4 front teeth missing. They did this to have various sets of dentures made with different decorations, some with one or two gold teeth or “rubies”,”emeralds” ect..so it’s a tradition that started from the 60’s and still going strong.
Great video. You guys should take a rod trip and visit other cities and Provinces when you have a moment. I took a rod trip in 2022 and 2023 and it opened my eyes further to South Africa. US and SA does have lot of similarities. East London and Durban are my favorite spots. You said that you visited Tanzania. How was it? I'm actually looking at other African countries to visit. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Thanks for saying that 👌. I live in East London and I love it here. Everyone tells them to go to Cape Town but the beauty of South Africa is endless and is in every province.
@SikiDlanga it is endless. I had the pleasure of traveling around South Africa this year and last year and met many people. I've been to small towns such as Ulindi, Port Edwards, and George to big cities such as Johannesburg, CT, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, East London, and Durban. A beautiful country indeed.
Kudos to you for doing what many Black South Africans arent keen to...and thats to explore other African countries as you guys are. We know we're spoilt for choice with every topic you brought up. SAs success is being able to co-exist amidst a myriad of differences, races, cultures, infrastructure, food, faith, clothing...it absolutely has its short-comings but we definitely are blessed and we know it. You should defs visit Cape Town (God lives in CT), Durban, Midlands Meander...all of SA is glorious. Enjoy
South Africans do visit other African countries. They just have specific countries that they like. E.g.. Kenya, Swaziland, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Botswana and Mauritius
It was so interesting to hear your perspective on SA and on Joburg specifically, since that's my home. I was especially surprised to hear how comparable you say Joburg is to America. And yeah, the loadshedding is a pain, but the fact that someone built an app to help us figure out the schedule is a great example of finding humour in tough situations and good old SA entrepreneurs! I did laugh at your surprise that we have electric stoves, when we have so much loadshedding 😂 It does seem rather ridiculous when you put it like that.
I am so surprised at how complimentary these opinions are! I've lived in Joburg for most of my life but moved to Cape Town in 2000. I certainly have a more cynical and negative opinion about SA but I imagine most locals do. Great positive and uplifting review and comparison! Well done!
My South African heart! This was such a nice review. On the loadshedding point, a lot of people have started to switch to gas geysers and gas stoves as well as solar. However, if you are economically disadvantaged that isn't really an option.
Shalom. Welcome to the Southern Region. ❤ I've been down here for several years now. Lived in 🇿🇦, but settled in 🇧🇼. May Abba YaH barak your stay and lead you along the way. AA from Ohio in Bots.
Great review. As South Africans, most of us,we don't think of relocating to other countries because we're struggling here. We are quite fine and we have what people would say they are found in developed world,so we are quite fine.
Truly one of the best practical, productive and friendly feedbacks given from visitors who can see the positive side to our country and relate a lot of similarities in their own country aswell. Thank you for this amazing video. Wish you guys could have had the opportunity to see how beautiful our country is.
I'm glad you are so researched in my country and giving an unbiased view. Refreshing we hope you enjoy the country all it has to offer. Proudly black South African 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for all your positive comments, glad you did not think we were living in a jungle. I was surprised that you never mentioned the people. Being born in South Africa, l know that people are very friendly, you can talk to strangers as if you were old friends. Would have been interesting to hear your view.
I would like to encourage you guys to also visit our coastal regions, like Durban and Capetown, I think you would enjoy those and would be an interesting contrast of culture and weather between the regions. Safe travels guys.
I don't think Americans understand how much they shape the world culturally. You guys are the leaders, the rest of the world follows. We wear your clothers, watch your movies and listen to your music.
Did you meet up with some Coloured people? I am a Coloured person, and unlike in the USA, in South Africa, Black & Coloured are considered two different cultures and race groups. Coloured people in SA are one of the most mixed-race cultures in the world. Our Coloured community, in particular, is known for its broad racial diversity. We have individuals who look, Black, Mixed, Asian, etc., but we all identify as Coloured, with a distinct culture of our own. If you trace our ancestry back, you'll find that we are descended from a mix of races like the Khoisan people and colonial powers that arrived in Southern Africa. Since then, we have developed a distinct identity, united not by physical appearance, but by our shared culture. There's a unique aspect of our culture that I personally love - despite our varied appearances, we are united by our Coloured identity. It's a glimpse of what the world might look like if racism didn't exist. Another interesting thing about Coloured people is that our culture is very similar to the African American culture. We love our jazz and soul music. American shows like "My Wife and Kids" resonate deeply with us, it's almost like watching a typical South African Coloured household in SA! Here are some good UA-cam links on Coloured culture in SA: ua-cam.com/video/gCdqVL-09io/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/crCm5utLTI8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/NOWPDhErMD0/v-deo.html
As a South African i came to see what rot you uncovered since we so used to it but was pleasantly surprised...good review and a really honest..subscribing
I came to South Africa during our summer here in the states. But I was told that it was winter there. Their summer starts in December. And so for me, if I wanted to get out of America when it gets cold in late November, South Africa would be a great vacation spot.
I'm from South Africa and I have to say thank you for not only looking at the bad stuff that's going around. Although yes when it comes to the cops some of them can be corrupt and they are notorious for it but not all of them is like that and a lot of people in South Africa make a living from tourism and we rely on that to help our economy. So most of the people will leave tourists alone because we need them. Weed is also legal here BTW. This is one of the nicest reviews of South Africa that I've seen and thank you for that.
It's been a bit cold lately in JHB due to this uncharacteristic rainfall. This type of downpour we usually get during the summer months and hardly in late autumn. It is ushering in the winter months (June - August) but still won't be as cold as New York/London winter for example. Anyways welcome and enjoy your stay in SA fam.
My whole life in Jhb we could predict first rains (around 1 Sept) then afternoon showers until around Jan. I would say only the last few years do we get rain in Autumn/winter. It freaks me out for some reason. I do believe though that Jhb weather is the best in the country, we do not have the humidity of KZN or the icy windy Cape weather. Don't know much about the other provinces Weather though. Joburgers are blessed in that regard.
@@taryn-leacarvalho3444 💯 Jo'burg weather is the best in the country imo as well. Experts say these changes are due to natural phenomena like La Niña which has recently gripped the region
Thanks guys👏🏾 Central South Africa is very dry and much colder during autumn/winter. I grew up here and my skin suffers big time. You will find much milder and humid weather in the eastern coastal cities like Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal province, where it's more tropical like Florida in the US, they have more or less same temperature all year. All our provinces have their own weather patterns though, so for Johannesburg and Cape Town, you can expect to experience 4 seasons in a day sometimes😭 You've made some good points, especially on the chronic leaf. Honestly, nobody cares about that here 😂 We even have medicines and skincare products made from it. Hope you can make your way out into the inner cities and townships because I do feel that suburbs like Sandton are not representative of how most South Africans live, though SA is generally perceived as a middle income country. Groceries are also cheaper because you are using the US dollar which is currently +/- R18,30 to buy, so cost of living is much more expensive for locals. Have a great time with the crazy #loadshedding and Enjoy your stay!❤
Winter has started, bear in mind that Johannesburg is on a high altitude, thus, winter can be cold, dry and sunny. August and September can be windy and dry due to the raging storms from the Atlantic Ocean and the icy South Pole that bring a buckt full of wet weather and cold. Enjoy Johannesburg and keep warm as much as you can 🎉
I'm Glad you guys got to explore South Africa, specifically in Johannesburg. I hope you guys also tried out our traditional food #Pap & Wors with chakalaka.
Great review guys! Yeah, Joburg gets VERY dry during the winter time as it rains in summer. If you go to Cape Town/west coast it gets rain in winter and will almost never be dry. Would also be cool to know what you think of our malls compared to USA and other countries!
Thank you for such a clear and true account of our country. Irrespective of the challenges we face, this is really a beautiful country to live in. We welcome you. Enjoy!
Welcome back home guys. Home sweet home. I can tell you connected with our mother land. I've been to quite a number of countries but coming back to SA you feel that you are now home. Please try to stay a bit longer in Soweto and see for yourself would be surprised it's not the way it's portrait people are welcoming respect one another. The are beautiful places to chill streets very clean no potholes also beautiful houses like those you find in suburbs. Love you guys this is were you belong❤
I hope you guys had a wonderful time in SA and that you visited the Western Cape, especially Cape Town. She's by far the grandest of them all. Aah, loadshedding... it's still shocking to me🙈 Next you visit, try to do a garden route tour. Very beautiful, with lush green vegetation and beautiful beaches.
Durban and the coast is not dry at all. Joburg is extremely dry for me too because I am from the coast. I have to be armed and ready to tackle all the dryness when I am up in Jozi.
Welcome to South Africa. With regards to your comment on the use of electric stoves vs gas stoves : Looking at the current electricity situation in South Africa, it does look odd to have so many things dependent on electricity as opposed to other energy options. But then you have to realise that until the early 2000's ESKOM, the electricity supplier in South Africa was still efficient and electricity was fairly cheap. In fact, until the 90's ESKOM was by far the biggest electricity generator on the continent of Africa. The issue with electricty supply we call loadshedding is the result of corruption, misappropriation of funds, poor or no maintenance, tenderpreneurship. All of which was the byproduct of Stat Capture under our previous president.
Great informative channel, I love seeing our people traveling across the motherland. However, I'm confused why someone would travel 8,000 plus miles to try and find another America. In my mind, traveling is about experiencing different cultures and a different way of life, but to each their own.
My understanding is that they're not necessarily looking to travel to find another American. They're sharing their travel experience and sharing a discovery that parts of Africa like South Africa are not as underdeveloped as portrayed by the American media. South Africa is a developed country with the same amenities that you find in the United States. South Africa with First World "comforts" still offers a different and very unique experience to Europe and The US. THE African vibe very much instilled. I hope that you get an opportunity to visit 🇿🇦😊
Thank you for this fair and favourable review of our beautiful South Africa! Loadshedding is extremely unfortunate and is holding back the country and constraining the GDP. It is a fairly recent phenomenon (it reared its head approx 15 years ago) hence the preponderance of electric stoves. There is currently a lot of focus on ending the electricity supply problems, e.g. for the first time in 2023, tax rebates on solar installations, and also the introduction of electricity surplus buy-back schemes.
Thank you for this lovely review. The negative politics makes one forget how lucky we are to live in this beautiful country. PS: if you haven't been yet, go to Cape Town. The hype is true.

Great review. Please note that we, South Africans hate load shedding. We did not always have it. We have basically been experiencing an incompetent and corrupt government that has messed up a lot of things.. and we hope to get rid of em next year when we vote. Glad you loved your experience :)
Thanks for watching
You won't get rid of the corrupt and incompetent government because the good patriotic voters that care about the country's future are enormously outnumbered by stupid brainless fools that only vote for the ANC or EFF
Please tell everyone to vote DA, as seen in the Western Cape, they get things done. Think if the DA wins next election, loads of the billions of' Rands stolen will be confescated and put to great use to end loadshedding for good, fix the potholes and the rest of the infrastructure, and end unemployment overnight cause they will need people to help build up our beautiful country.
Oh My god. Same here

I'm a South African, currently working in Asia and you are so right about the cost of living. I compare everything and find that the cost of living in SA is sooo low compared to here.
When people hear that we are from SA they get such a shock, firstly they cannot believe that SA has white people (lol) and secondly they assume that Africa is rural and don't realize how westernised South Africa really is 🙂
Despite everything that our country has been through, we really have warm and friendly people in South Africa. My husband and I always say how we miss just walking past a random stranger and getting a smile or greeting.

Hopefully we visit soon
We've never had a problem with load shedding before hence electric stoves it is a challenging issue we are currently struggling with but there are project on the way by government and private sector are working hard to change the situation.
It is the winter indeed, because of the altitude and also it is inland hence it is dry for your lips I'd suggest you use Zambuk it is very helpful. Great content as usual guys. Joburg is situated almost 2km above sea level, that's why your skin and lips gets so dry, especially in winter. The most important thing with SA is that it has the same level of freedom like USA, many of our African countries are ruled by dictators, South Africa is completely different, freedom of speech,
African American should first look into the political landscape of the country, because you can invest into the country and then the war broke out and you lose everything, just like what's happening in sudan.

It is ushering in the winter months (June - August) but still won't be as cold as New York/London winter for example. Anyways welcome and enjoy your stay in SA fam.
Thank you so much
My whole life in Jhb we could predict first rains (around 1 Sept) then afternoon showers until around Jan.

Durban and the coast is not dry at all. Joburg is extremely dry for me too because I am from the coast. I have to be armed and ready to tackle all the dryness when I am up in Jozi.
Yes it hard to stay moisturized
I get nosebleeds in Johannesburg. I have lived on the coast all my life.
I am a proud South African. Enjoyed your content.
Thank you
South Africa is heaven in Africa no doubt . I love Cape Town , fresh cold weather . ❤❤

Much love From South Africa 🕊️🌍🕊️
thanks for watching
We've always had electric stoves because pre 2008 we never had loadshedding.
Thanks for watching
Thanks again for the positive and encourage review of our beloved and wonderful country, it has great potential to be the best, if only our Politicians can refrain from further squandering our resources😮
We love you ❤ a great deal and keep up the Good Work guys, and keep safe during your travel

I slightly differ with your take on alcohol availability especially in Kenya….you can find whatever brand you want easily
They were in Mombasa and briefly in Nairobi.

I have family in Johannesburg and I don't come there during the winter as I am from Durban and can't stand that much cold weather. Even though climate change has also made Durban cold but it can never amount to Johannesburg
Yes, it's a little too cold.
@@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFE it gets below freezing points overnight
It will get freezing as times goes by
I can relate, born and bred in Dbn, moved to JHB for work. bought my 1st pair of winter gloves in Jhb. After so many yrs guess the body gets climatised to the weather
@@tseepi5019 Yeah my family has also gotten use to the weather as well and always make fun of me when I can't even handle the day
Our country is so is so imperfect but we really love it

I just love the small details you guys pay attention to like the amount of people with Tattoos in a country😂 it's obviously a minor thing but it says a lot about the country's culture ❤
