I've been extremely skeptical that I can do this for several reasons. But it was this version of the app, specifically, the 72 hour log, that was the game changer. That's what I needed. I don't see myself lugging around a notebook everywhere and whipping it out every time I need to add an entry. But I can definitely add items to the log and then update it into my written version at the end of the day. I have everything ready to go now. Thanks.
Wow! Firstly, I’m glad the app doesn’t replace a written journal, which would negate the science behind hand-writing for memory and organisation - and my initial brain dump into my bullet journal is essential to my mornings, before updating my productivity apps on my phone/laptop. Second, this answers my worry if I lost my journals, I would always have them backed up for reference. We had massive bushfires through Australia earlier this year, I’ve put a lot of thought into the things I keep and the things I need and how to minimise what I need to carry in an emergency. What wouldn’t I want to loose?

@@nusaibahibraheem8183 then it wont serve the purpose, its not only about the journal technique which here is BuJo its about writing with pen on paper.... I love all of the new features, but I am surprised that you do not allow us to zoom in on the pictures we take. I'm 43 years old and I can't possibly see an entire page of my bullet Journal when it is compressed Andre phone screen. I won't be able to really utilize the photo feature until I am able to zoom in. I have to imagine that would be a relatively easy teacher to implement, and I promise you it would make a big difference to a lot of us. I love the idea of having a digital backup of my notebooks all indexed together in one place. But if I can't read them, then I suppose I can't make use of it. :-/
Bujo is the first system I have ever been able to follow. It has really changed my life. I don't make any fancy stuff, just follow Ryders system. Therefore, I have a real use for the ability to have two journals at the same time. Is there a way to have two journals simultaneously? I have one bujo for work and one for home but I can't utilize the library, since it only allows for one at a time. I would love to be able to have more than one for the library. Perhaps an upcoming feature?
Thanks for this video i hadn't even realized that the app had changed, I don't know about others but i would like to see more flexibility with reflections, i often work past midnight but if i don't log a reflection before then on the app it won't let me log one until the morning timer has passed- if I'm doing something wrong feel free to steer me the right direction
Hello! I don't know where to ask) Whenever I take pictures of my pages, I can't really take a good picture. Either the page does not fit, or if I "go away" with my camera, there is a lot of stuff around. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi! I downloaded this because there are a few topics that I want to be able to get at from past journals without having to carry them all around, so I created my volumes and only photoed the pages that have longer-term relevance. They're easy to find with collections. BUT - can I rename a collection once it's created? I find that I should have given one of mine a different name and don't see a way to change that. Thanks!
I want to start using this. But if I cant download my pictures and data then that's a deal breaker. Can you please develop a way were we can download our data? A huge thing for us buller journal fans is habit tracking and if we can download that data we can better use that data. Please, please make the data downloadable.
Thanks for bringing the library feature to Android! A question: is there a way to enter the collection names and pages without tanking pictures of the pages? I think this is more important than having all the pages themselves, and that was the way in version 1, am I wrong?
I have been following your method since July of 2021 but Im just hearing of this app? I was looking for an app to scan all my books so that in the event I were to lose one I had some sort of back up. I was gonna take pics of each page since July of 2021 and store them in Apple Notes or maybe Evernote. My question is, is there a storage limit? I can easily see me taking a lot of storage space. Im not sure if I understood that our stuff is store on the service of our choice. What are the choice that integrate with this app (google drive, iCloud, a hard drive)?
I think it used to see bullet journal at a glance when we needed it as soon as possible we can easily open this application or maybe there is something that needs to be noted right away . btw nice app
Ryder and Team - Let's say I've just discovered v2 of the app and I want to back enter my current BuJo. Let's say I have a collection I've started on a page. Do I add a pic of the collection as it is today, on a given date, and then when the page get's full do I add a second pic of the page? The video makes sense of daily reflections; two pics per day. But what about capturing collections?
It seems I have to add a date to every page I put in the app journal. Is that correct? For example if I have two days on on page then I have different dates on the same page, and if I have a week log then I have to choose which date to use. Am I correct? I can skip a collection but not a date. I am on Android.
I don't like my handwriting, I realize the concept of memorization by writing, but I haven't written anything worthwhile since years, I am hoping that someday there will be a standalone Digital Bullet Journal.
Tasks in the daily and monthly log, I can keep track of. But do you have a trick to keep track of tasks in project collections? I'm afraid I'll just forget about them.
@@carlopaggiarinflores5431 In the book Ryder writes "When you notice a Master Task is spawning a lot of Subtasks, it can indicate that this Task is growing into a project." Or is it because you only migrate some of the tasks, and the rest goes to the future log?

This seems like a well thought out extension of the existing companion! Not sure if I want to photograph my journals though 🤭

Thank you so much for finally making the library available for android!!! Great new features too!

How great and thanks for the updates💝

The more you write, the nicer your handwriting becomes. At least, that worked for me.

It would be nice to be able to add digital thoughts if you are out and want to add to your journal
You can do that with the LOG feature!
