Just a little tip when you are making baskets. When you start top work on your sides/walls crochet in the back loop only for the entire round. It helps to keep the sides/walls straight, and it gives the bottom of the basket a really pretty defined edge. :)
Someone gave my daughter a basket like this one. They cut a strip of plastic canvas, inserted it into the basket, and then rolled the top row down to make it sturdy. Thanks again for a great video.
Jennifer, you should make some more spa patterns for us. I would love to see more some more soap savers, maybe crocheted in the round, and some more spa cloth designs. Like everyone else, I think these spa items will be great gifts.
hello. Just found your channel while searching for spa items while I'm crocheting a bath pouf ( someone else's pattern) . This basket of yours looks Awesome. I look forward to watching your other videos. Thank you for sharing.
This series was so much fun to do. Question how do I get my basket to stand up? It's a little floppy. LOL Edit: I was able to put my items in the basket and it stays up. 😁

I love the basket, I seem to be having a problem with the bottom, it is ruffling. What is causing this? I have started over several time. I have made all of the other pieces and they came out perfect. Thank you for your help.
oh help !!! I'm working on the basket.. love that you have the pattern on your blog.. but there is no stitch count at the end of the rounds. I guess I'm so used to having that way of checking my work I'm a bit lost.... does anyone have that helpful info ?? the pattern for the scrubbies is no longer on the blog either..
cotton is more durable, and it will form the basket better and keep it's shape. acrylic won't do that. You want cotton for the yarn that touches your skin also, as it washes better and will be germ free much better. And of course more durable
Hi! I have started the basket. I’m having a hard time with row 5. I’m doing three single half doubles every three stitch, and two half in the next. When I get to the last area. I get three then two half in the next, but every time there is always four before the end of the round. Is this right? Thank you for your help.
Why is mine not sturdy..it's not standing straight at all ..I did it as she did yet ..it's not standing straight..it falls off ...no stiffness...pls help

Can acrylic yarn be used , or cotton be used best for this ? Just wondering, cause I have a lot of the acrylic yarn left overs.

Question..do u maintain the chain 2 hdc in the same hole throughout?
I like the video but it would be great if you tell us how many stitches in each round so we’ll be sure we didn’t drop or add a stitch or two.
So about the miss spelling is the a secret to having it stand tall like your? Mine is folding over itself or a lot floppy
Why is mine not sturdy..it's not standing straight at all ..I did it as she did yet ..it's not standing straight..it falls off ...no stiffness...pls help
Do you have the information needed to make some larger baskets? T I A!!!
Is there a way so they sides stand up like your ur ? Mine is folding in on it self , help
Can you use the Magic Circle/Knot?
I don't see why not, I would use whatever you're comfortable with
@@heathernelson5624 Thank you 😊!!
Absolutely! 😊👍
I always do a magic ring, means when you close your ring, there's not a hole in the middle, it looks a lot neater.
I made this basket using 4 weight 100 percent cotton and my basket is way too flimsy.
This is a great gift idea!🤗
