- Today I am going to show you how to build a diy farmhouse wooden lantern. This is a fun farmhouse decor project!! I love diy wooden lanterns and hope you do too!!

- Hammer and Nails (2” and 1-1/4” Nails)

The rabit trail: Depends on the store. Grocery stores I get only get what I need 95% of the time. Other stores I might get things I get atracted to, if in the budget.

Love the lantern you give me an idea on.I've been wanting to make some and hell how to go about doing it.I don't have a nail gun though.So I don't know what I'll do I guess I'll just glue and tape tape my boards and let the glue just dry the h pieces, individual pieces so they won't slide away and be uneven, so that's what I've been doing with myself.'s I've been just and letting dry a piece at a time and then put it together.Anyway , I like what you did keep up the good work
i saw you using diva curl products oon your hair and once on your daugher's hair be careful make some research so ayou won't hurt your hair or your health Aicha malik talked about it and even others good luck and stay safe

I Love to do projects like these.
If it's not a dangerous task , then I always involve my grandson. From cooking to carpentry.
He asks alot of questions and wants to be a part of many projects. A good way for him to learn basic skills.
Last project he helped finish, he had a smile on his face and said to me, "I didnt know I could do this Grandma...Thank you".

This is BY FAR the nicest DIY LANTERN TUTORIAL 🏮 I have EVER seen 😍 ❤ and I subscribe to many different channels. On top of that, I discovered by watching a couple of your other videos afterwards that you are a Christian ✝️ 👨👩👧👨👦👦👶 family, PRAISE GOD❣☝️🥰🙏
On a side note; I think it's commendable that you allow Jeremiah to watch you build. However, children learn by example and you need to teach safety 1st, so he will follow suit. Please wear shoes 👞 and safety glasses and set up a safe area where he can see you, but not be SO CLOSE to the NAIL GUN! As a Mom myself, and a person who had 4 siblings, kids are FAST and can inadvertently get hurt in the blink of an eye 👁 - and I am certain you want to keep your children safe. Please know this is coming to you from a heart of love, and not intended to be mean or evil-spirited, just concern for your safety and the well-being of your lovely children.

Beautiful solid Lanterns but If You could have Lit them up n shown how Gorgeous look they give would have been even better in Night view. Waited till end for that magical moment to happen but it didn't arrive. ❤❤❤❤

Instead of vaseline you can use a dry brush method that will do a better job.
When using powered tools please do it away from the child and not let them see what's going on. This is how kids get hurt.

Despite your comments about safety, no eye protection, no foot protection. I noticed the wood fell from the chop saw near your bare feet.. Nice project but poorly presented, especially with the child present..
I love this. I might make a couple myself. It did make me sooo nervous watching you work with that glue gun around your son. I'm a nurse and to me that was so scary!

Hi mom!!!! You really need to not use this around your baby and you also need safety gear for yourself. My dad had one of these and one came out but bounced back and went in his eye. He nearly lost his eye completely. Please get you some safety gear.

This is a fabulous build. As someone who has all the power tools you can think of, can i please encourage safety when using this gun - I've seen these spurt nails out of the wood and head the opposite direction. So, i wouldn't have the young guy around, and goggles is a definite whenever I'm using these.
