I did it! I’m not comfortable making the cut yiu did for a 1” square. But I had enough scrap to come pretty close. Thank you! Super easy and one of the best styles.
I've been trying to get my husband to do a channel with me. He builds house's for a living & I help with interior design. Granted I have more time then him. But it would be great to do what your doing with my husband. I love your channel you give me alot of new ideas. So thanks & please keep the videos coming our way
I really like the project....very newbie friendly. I find it disappointing to see a project I like and go to watch the video and they have these very expensive tools. My scroll saw and jig saw are 20 years old, my router is 25 yrs old and my table saw is a month old. Nice to see a video with what the average person would have in their garage.
@@themissionandthemaker I can't wait to see your new video! I've made your lantern but inset a mason jar lid on the bottom, cut a 1" hole in bottom of jar then put the candle on the lid and screwed the jar into the lid. If the candle falls or a windy day, candle is inside the jar. Unscrew the jar to replaced candle.
You can really make them whatever length you want, but make sure your uprights are 3x as long. i.e. if your brackets are 4" wide, your uprights should be 12" tall.
Everybody! Sanding, cutting or spraying paints and coatings without at least a paper P100 or N95 mask (for aerosols) will slowly destroy your lungs and will catch up with you later on. Even working outside.

Please make more video. You explain everything perfectly. Looking forward to more videos.
Nice project Brother. I think I'll try this. It might look nice with some quarter round molding.
Great video and instruction. Thanks for the great idea. Have a great day, be safe, and God Bless. Love Peg

I agree! He just earned a Sub from me. I especially like the fact he uses real world affordable tools that most of us can afford
Beautiful
Hi, lovd your Lantern built. Can you share the measurements
Ripping with a rip blade could help preventing jamming 👍
Nice sturdy lantern. Is it difficult to find that type of light that you used.

saggioculo that’s a great idea!
Muito show parabéns 👏👏👏👏👏😃
no measurements? How long are the 1x1s for the side posts? Or the bottom?
How long and wide was the 1”x1” boards used?
Hi did you cut the legs at 15 or 16 inches
Either would work! I really don’t remember! 😇
I loved the video! What happened to the other video you mentioned? May Jesus greatly bless you!
To keep from jamming saw cut the other way first and it will be fine 👍
WHAT TABLE SAW IS THIS ???? project is so cute
Cheryl D it is a Bosch portable job site saw!
How long were the brackets?

YOU ARE AN awesome HUSBAND!!!

Nice Job but too much work....
Why make the video and want people to learn if you can't even explain the sizes you are using
I really hope that you don't talk like that in real life, it is very annoying at best!
You're a waste of space and air!
I have checked many woodworking plan sites. I think the instructions from Woodprix are the best.
