So the fact someone can stop time isn't an issue but the fact she, like the flash, can run past a normal person and not kill them is? In many forms of heroes with super-speed they normally are being boosted by some type of powerful energy or force that allows them to bend the laws of physics.

Sound Wave let's look at it like this, the flash can move so fast he can go through time and different universes but Superman can still see him(I.e that iconic scene in justice league when Superman is fighting the league and flash runs circles around him and Superman is following him with his eye). Time is relevant if you can stop time or move just as fast as a speedster or maybe almost as fast you could see them. Speedsters powers also have something to do with time it's a small form of time manipulation so it makes sense she's see that. For a better example look at the Futurama ship we find out in a episode of Futurama that the ship doesn't actually move with the universe but actually moves the universe around it, same concept a speedster isn't moving so fast through and with time their just moving time around them.
Wouldn't they be unable to hear each other? Even though Hiro didn't stop time completely, wouldn't the vibrations in the air not be able to travel fast enough? Ugh, these powers defy physics in so many ways in makes my brain hurt. Damn you Tim Kring you mad genius!!!
Rocky28447 I always try and apply syfy logic to powers and how would this work in the real world. In my opinion Hiro doesn't manipulate the space time continuum, he shifts himself, and others, outside of what we would perceive as time and space possibly into another dimension or maybe into a kind of subspace. From his perspective he can then move in any direction in what normal/limited beings perceive as time and space essentially teleporting and time traveling. Within this dimension or subspace Hiro is experiencing the progression of "time" differently then those within it, viewing it as stopped/really slowed down. Daphnee moves so fast that she can also experience this dimension or subspace when Hiro accesses it but only when she's moving fast enough. Hiro can't actually alter reality through time travel just influence which possible events will occur (the multiverse). As the comics show, these possible timelines/realities will always exist and can't be blinked out of existence. Otherwise, how could this realities Hiro be warned by another possible Hiro about a possible future if it never existed? Any other theories?
The speed of sound alone would be to slow to allow them to communicate. Not to mention the intense strain they would put on they bodys or that they would not be able to breath.
The Casualty of WGA Strike in 2007. So much potential. Not even the revival series was immediately cancelled, because too many superhero genre from DC and MCU has taken over.
Honestly I love this show, I mean a lot of characters were very likeable, Claire and Hiro were two of my favorites, and Silar was just a menacing and good antagonist. It's a shame that as the show ended very badly, they tried doing in later years a new season to revive it but they butchered it even further. In my opinion one of the major problems was they they insisted on nerfing the powers to oblivion. I mean aside from Hiro being extremely likeable and entertaining, he never really makes full use of his power much like every other character, just like Peter that has the power to mimic other powers including Hiro but also never really does much with it. So after about the two first season it started to feel a bit stale in my opinion. Not to mention half the time they made the powers inconsistent at best, at worst the characters would lose their powers altogether.
Imagine how fast her fist must've traveled when she punched him, considering time had been slowed down to a crawl for everything else. That's some insane durability on Hiro
Man...rewatching clips of Heroes always makes me sad cause it had the potential to be soooooo good. If this came out in 2020 it would've been a Netflix banger.

Even though Hiro didn't stop time completely, wouldn't the vibrations in the air not be able to travel fast enough? Ugh, these powers defy physics in so many ways in makes my brain hurt. Damn you Tim Kring you mad genius!!!
Hiro manipulates space, so that's how Hiro was able to hear her and talk.
It's a fictional tv show, don't hurt yourself.
xBwahx I had a stroke over this.
I heard it's impossible to freeze time anyways. I'd recommend reading more about it.

I always try and apply syfy logic to powers and how would this work in the real world.
I love the effect they used for her, if the original cast wanted to do a comeback with Heroes, I'd watch it.
I’m afraid I know of someone with a similar ability

Alass this is when Heroes was entertaining and the plot was good
This whole scene breaks so many laws of science, that I can't even explain properly.
The speed of sound alone would be to slow to allow them to communicate.
Not to mention the intense strain they would put on they bodys or that they would not be able to breath.
This show had so much underused potential it actually sickens me that it was barely tapped.God,what could have been.
He has the power of Za Warudo!
What would happen if Hiro's friend uses his superpower on you?
I really like her 'trail'. These days, all we ever get are electricity or a blurry mess. Her trail here is abstract but makes sense.
Heroes was such a good show. Way ahead of its time
Why does this asian look like FreddieW
u dont say
J.R that’s why i clicked on the video
Looks like FreddieW but sounds like Jackie chan
I thought it was for a second
Ikr I thought it's a FW cameo.....
Looking back, for the mid 2000s this show had top shelf CGI for a TV show
The Casualty of WGA Strike in 2007.
They never should have killed her off. She and Hiro were a fantastic combination
I wish I had daphne's super-speed she even has her own streak and only official speedsters have there own streak
The Artist and Hiro made this show
1:10 the guy falls down two times :v
Came here from my recommended, now I feel like watching the whole show.
Dude for real, me too now
Same
1:08 poor Hiro. 😂 your naivety is adorable.
I think he had time stopped when she was blurred, but when the blur "caught up" he was witching to sped-up time instead to talk to her subconsciously.
I like that the speed of sound is still faster than they are.
We putting this in my recommendations now I gotta rewatch it all 😊 #SaveTheCheerleaderSaveTheWorld.
Haha, the way she grabbed his face! 😂😂😂
that was so cute the way he said "i don't knooow!"
If she's fast, why did she die in the explosion
because she is not the fastest human alive
because she is wahmen
She wasn’t fast enough.
"She didnt see that coming"
@@SourthernerPilgrim If that was the reason them she would've have that feminist armour and survived.
This whole show feels like a fever dream
It's amazing how much I forgot about this show. The first season was amazing, the other parts were forgettable the rest I wish I could forget.
The 2nd strike shortened season was so forgettable that even the show writers forgot about it.
Name
First season was meh. The finale really brings it down
The physics of this scene hurt my brain. Pretty great effect on the speed trail though.
Explain
He is not a speedster, he is a slowster
Can anyone please give him an award for his performances
Anyone else think that was Freddie Wong at first?
yup
Literally the only reason I clicked on this video

No he's hiro
No, you're just an idiot who doesn't have a good visual acuity.
Imagine how fast her fist must've traveled when she punched him, considering time had been slowed down to a crawl for everything else.
That's some insane durability on Hiro
Oh geez, now I'm lost! 🫤
I still miss this show
Why is this being recommended now?!!!
More importantly, how the hell did you know I LOVE Hiro Nakamura?!!!
It could be because who the bad guy on flash this season is played by.
Man...rewatching clips of Heroes always makes me sad cause it had the potential to be soooooo good. If this came out in 2020 it would've been a Netflix banger.
Still a better Flash than Iris.
Oh my gosh! I watched this show with my dad like 5 years ago over the course of summer break and we loved it. I loved this dude, and the main bad from season 1 and the mayors brother. Man, what a cool show
she fast but not fast as the flash SPEEDFORCE

That, "I don't know!" was so adorable!
I know, right? =)
Possibly the greatest show in history ruined by a writers strike.
Nostalgia man. Gets you every time.
Barry I promise I won’t get angry, but wtf did you do to the timeline
Remember when Heroes had a small comeback lol
Why this is my recommendation in October of 2019. I even remember the series any more
me too....😂
"Are you a speedster too"
I'll try this line the next time I get too excited with a girl
Hiro was so underutilized, they would have needed another 2-3 FOLL season for him to get his grove on
Man, I was always so salty that this show was cancelled. It was great. Should have gone for at least one more season to completely finish the show.
I know the writers strike destroyed this shows potential and ultimately led to its demise but, I’d love to be able to rewatch this for the first time all over again
I remember listening to the commentary of the final season and literary during it they got the announcement that they got canceled. That's rough buddy🥶
Dammit I miss this show, that writer strike killed it 😭😭😭😭
UA-cam algorithm bringing me back to the good times
Heroes had some great moments.
...They had a lot of missteps too, but great moments.
