I have tiny, pale blue eyes and huge, thick eyelashes. I can only put eyeliner on my water line because it is impossible to get to the top of my lashes. It's hard to explain. And I have very hooded lids. So I have very little lid space. Good video!

I was thinking the same thing. It looks exactly like the Jane Iredale eyeshadow stick in Bronze that I got a few weeks ago. Very user-friendly formula, but the shade was not the rosy brown it looked like online; just more of a neutral bronzey-brown.

Great method! Yeah, I don’t really think tight lining is necessary. The darker shade shadow over the eyeliner probably helps set the eyeliner and make it last longer too. Will try it❤

You are quickly becoming one of my favourites. Such helpful tips. Stila used to have an eyeshadow (powder not cream or liquid) called Cloud that was the one I used for looks like this. Everyone was raving about Kitten, but Cloud was better. Opened the eyes up like nothing else. Discontinued , of course. I'm on the lookout for a dupe.

Mallory, I have four of the RMS eyelights (Strobe, Spark, Halo & Blaze). They are amazing! However, DO NOT squeeze the tube AT ALL & certainly do not fix the little tool on the end - - you won't need that for a while. Open the cap & a small amount should ooze out. I use a brush or my fingers. It dries fast - - you have about 12 seconds. But it's easy to maneuver & looks great. You can even layer the colors. RMS founder Rose Marie Swift suggests that eyelights be applied to clean lids without any primer, moisturizer, or foundation on them. And do just one eye at a time. I do dab a little Cetaphil SPF 50 lotion on my lids prior, but haven't had any problems with application or with creasing or fading. I'm a huge RMS fan. I've purchased nearly all of their cosmetics over the past several months. Tomorrow (27 July 2024), all their eye makeup is "buy one get one free." The Eyelights retail for $28 each. Loved your vid. am1156 - - I have Cloud and yes, it is fantastic. I bought ~6 of them a couple years ago (Brook, Playa, Kitten Kaleidoscope, Cloud, plus two can't remember the names of). But four of them totally dried out after only a few months, even though I hardly used them & capped 'em all tight. I was disappointed in Stila for that. Phytosurgence makes an incredible sparkly topper called Lucent Light that would also work great for what Mallory is doing here. I think it might still be available on their website. Their eyeshadows are really something else. Creamy, thin, buildable, & amazing colors/effects.

Like Chrissy above, I've been tightlining daily for almost 20 years now. When you get older, your waterline gets thicker looking and noticeable in a not-good way. Tight lining (i.e., lining the water line) is the solution.

Ok, this does NOT work well on small eyes! The reason you think so is because you don’t have small eyes. It’s the perfect application for someone with big eyes, but no thick liners especially upper and lower on small eyes. It make them look smaller. Light, bright, open colors with mascara and maybe a subtle wing tip.
Please don't think your eyes are small, they are perfect

@@malloryosses yes landscape. If you try it yourself by watching this video on a ipad or on the app on a smart tv you will see what i mean. You cannot really see anything and the portrait format is filled out with black bars to fill out the normal landscape / 4:3 aspect ratio resolutions. If you post videos on youtube outside the shorts section in the long form content, please have in mind how this long form audience consume content different. Your thumbnail was in the right ratio, so it can come across as if the video that pops up is just a reused unedited tiktok file in the wrong format.
