Had 2 BBs few years ago. Since then I have bought 2 Window phones, 10 android (Samsung) & 2 iPhone. Though all the above were good but something was missing. And then I got keyone a month ago. Absolutely amazing. Built like a tank. Lasts whole day (my phone usage is very high) 53 shortcuts - practically leaves no need to dig into the menu. A serious business phone.
It's not a performance beast. But it is "efficient" enough. I hope i can keep this phone for the next 5 years, i really don't think they'd come up with anything similar down the road unless there is the KeyTwo as a real thing.
My KEYOne is still on the way, but my Passport already being used for a bit more than two years. I mostly use it as a mobile hotspot, and for a daily easily 10GB to 15 GB network traffic, it can be used a whole day without recharge. That is one of the reason I love Blackberry, well build and can do what it designed to do.
I own this phone for almost a year now. I really like it. I would definitely pick black special edition with 4GB of memory over silver one. 3GB version is refreshing apps too often for my taste I multi-task often and I need to wait for few seconds for some apps to refresh. Also if there are too many apps open the phone will slow down a bit. Camera is good , just not perfect. But overall I really like this phone. It is great for my needs. Typing on physical keyboard is such a joy. Once you get used to it, learn all the tricks it is just awesome experience, battery is excellent. I stopped thinking about battery because it lasts long and charging is quick. I would not be able to operate without blackberry hub. Having all things in one place is just extra convenient. I will not mention key shortcuts. This is the best feature ever. I have programmed most of apps into shortcuts and it takes me half a second to start app. My desktop is clear. I only have wallpaper. Convenience key is great because I have blackberry hub programmed in it so getting all messages is ultra convenient. Blackberry software keeps get better and better. I do not use other launchers, only blackberry because it is simple, stock android experience without unnecessary embellishments. Pop-up widgets are great feature as well. There is a lot to be liked about this phone. I think 4GB version is way to go and I cannot wait for KEYone 2 with rumored 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 660. I will upgrade day one for sure.

Hello Jeff. Great video on an awesome device. So glad I got the KEYone as you well said a beast of productivity and that insane battery life, touch PKB, convenience key,etc....and don't forget that camera...it's fantastic with a great pro mode. Also picked up the Official BlackBerry flip case and for me its perfect and see all notifications without opening the case. Got it directly from BlackBerryMobile website in EU. Loving this phone...ps every month latest security updates and frequent updates to the BlackBerry apps.

yea, I see your point, I got both of these as I love blackberry,s but the black one has a different unique style to it, its more like a (sport style if you will). and the silver one like a executive phone. never the less both of the looks awesome in their own right
Did you notice a performance boost for the keyone silver with the last few updates? Mine runs absolutely beautifully now but it was pretty laggy after continued usage for the first couple of months...not too sure what they changed but it's really good now

If so, is it customizable as in the past? 2. Can the all app list be grouped into folders or topics like a traditional Android device?
Went into my local AT&T store and asked if they had the exclusive blackberry. And looked at me like I was crazy 😂. They had no idea what I was talking about.
I simply asked "Hey do u guys have that new blackberry?" They replied "uhhh new Blackberry? We got the old ones" Lol When I was walking out I heard her say "They still make Blackberries?" To her co-worker lol
I really wanted this phone, I was ready to purchase it day one! Sadly blackberry and TCL dropped the ball on the supply and I gave up on the purchasing one. I wonder how many people was in the same boat as me. I'm on Verizon BTW.
Verizon seems to have this problem frequently with every manufacturer except Apple and Motorola. They even have issues with Samsung distribution. This is part of the reason I stick with AT&T, it's easier to get access to the coolest new crap to blow my money on.
Looks amazing!The one wish I have is that it kept the dual speakers that the passport had. It went from probably the cleanest sound to poor based on some early reviews. I've always enjoyed the superior speakerphone too. I'm tempted to just renew my Passport contract. Only thing is I can't use Android Auto with Passport.
Have to agree on the phone case part, it's really to bad that there aren't any really cool cases out for the BB they all just look real bland to me, which is a shame.. I wish they would make some cool lookin' cases like the iphone has

Arif Goenawan definitely there is a problem with signal, I had very weak signal at work , struggling to open anything. I had honor 8 and Honor 9 and signal was great , really disappointed
Victoria Deng Couldn't you just Unlock it ? You might be missing a band or so (ATT vs T-Mo differences), but other than that, I would think it'd be fine since they're both GSM.

kvn lim I experienced this with my BlackBerry keyone black, I had honor 8 and Honor 9 before and there was no problem, with blackberry I struggling to have a good signal and I think this will be my main reason to sell this phone :(

I remember the Bold 9780 having the same chrome coated struts when started waring of exposing black plastic aftre about a years use. BTW Zack did not mention anything about the struts specifically. Silver one is one of the most beautiful phones of the market. The black one is a little more common

What's the boot-up experience like? It's brutal on the Classic.
I hate the AT&T logo on the back of the black version. They killed the look of the phone as far as I'm concerned.

There are FOUR different BLACK KEYOnes, so you can find other three if you don't like AT&T version.
3 1/2 months in and my screen fell right off without being dropped or anything. Wasn't expecting that to happen in a phone as expensive as this one.
Same thing happened to me. I called BB directly and they sent me a new device with the adhesive problem fixed, supposedly.
Don Shah it was fixed about 2-3 months ago. JerryRigEverything did a video about that and he tested the new ones and they are solid now.
T-Mobile hasn’t sold it yet? If so, I’d buy it as a work phone
