  • Tamiya's stunning C11 RC kit, Radio control at its best
I have wanted to build this very popular kit for some time and when they were re-released last year I missed out as they sold out so quickly. When the second batch were released a short time ago I jumped on one.
This is part two of a three part series where :
Part 1 - Unboxing and chat
Part 2 - The chassis build
Part 3 - the body and finishing

Brilliant video, looks awesome and has inspired me to finish my tt-02 body. Be careful we need a cutting mat not a cut matt

I hadn't previously realised that the body shell is a really 'one shot' job. Nerve wracking - one slip with the scalpel...!

It only needs a light score so very little pressure and a slow cut.

@@dustyshelfcollectables I'll still confine myself to watching others do it Matt😅. Very nice job by the way - you have every right to feel pleased about it.

I assume the Vac formed body is for lightness in racing ,I like the A B S body better but excellent work sir.

I guess so, defiantly a better finish on the ABS but not as forgiving when you chrah!

Its a modelling masking tape, it comes in different widths and a special for going round curves, there are many brands but I prefer the actual Tamiya tape, its in the model shops or I guess on line.
