We sailed out of Southampton this past October but stayed in London for a couple of days first. I wish we had seen your videos first, Southampton looks like a great place to spend a couple of days pre cruise with some great hotels! Next time for sure.
Loved the tour Jamie especially as I have booked a room for a pre cruise stay in August. We have eaten in The Jetty before which was fab and since then have wanted to stay overnight. I haven't told my husband where we are staying. He thinks we are going to a Travelodge!
thanks Jamie, really enjoyed that. The room sounds amazing, as does the service and food. Yes, more expensive than most hotels in the area, but well worth it and starts the cruise off on a high for sure...Terry x
Looks good value to me for what you get, everything in the room looked quality and the location excellent. I’d stay there pre cruise to get the holiday off to a good start.
Hi jamie i have looked at this hotel for a pre cruise stay always thought it was expensive but looking at it i think ill just book before our cruise on queen anne next year. great start to the cruise 😊
Love this hotel. Have stayed pre-cruise a couple of times. But as a solo a little pricey. I have to say-worth every penny. Agree Harbar on 6th is fabulous. I feel another visit coming!
Hotel looks gorgeous. I looked into booking a room for night before our cruise and over £300 for a balcony room (yikes!). Ended up booking a night at the Pig in the Wall hotel which was a bit less expensive. The Marina area looks lovely though.
@@TravelBlogJamie great to hear The Pig is good! Prices definitely fluctuate with the Harbour. The room was nearly £100 cheaper 2 weeks ago when I looked then. I should have booked it back then, eh?!
Really informative! planning on booking this for our Iona cruise in march 2024, do all rooms have 'complimentary' access to the spa or just certain ones? also do you remember what the type of your room yours was called on the site? Thanks :)
Find out out what surprised us so much about this pre-cruise hotel experience! 😮
Was it the monster under the bed? That would surprise me...
Went to the bar for a couple of drinks last night . Love it
It’s great up there
Thanks for tour of Harbour Hotel & Sp😋a Southampton

Yes it’s is v near to ocean terminal - it’s no more than 5 mins by taxi or 10 mins walking

Yes I completely agree! Felt like a true extension to a holiday

That is a spectacular room Jamie and for two sharing price is ok too!!! Really really like it !!
Good value I thought
This would be perfect for a pre-stay before my first QM2 transatlantic sailing to NY next spring!
I think it would make for a great start!

Love Pig in the Wall. We got a great deal in Harbour Hotel for our balcony room but prices fluctuate a lot

Mine was a king room with balcony / pitch view. We had to pay to use the spa
Hi Jamie is use of the gym n pool included or extra? And do you know which floor the assessible rooms are on?
It is included
I Imagine the accessible rooms are dotted around since they have elevator access - I don’t think there are any rooms on the ground floor either
Beautiful Hotel.
We really love it 😍
Looks lovely but expensive
I a Thaikhun thought this was good value for what we got
Jamie, do you know if you can go in for just meals if you’re not staying at the hotel?
