The jumping on Roar of the Beast wasn't as broken as the Super Nintendo game and the snowball level was stupid because you can die in that level. It should've been a bonus level.
Damn in the original cartoon, the beast was about to get his ass handed by Gaston I remember (almost 25 years ago since I watched it) also didn't he get seriously injured by the wolf pack when he tried to save Belle who attempted to run away?

fun game. the difficulty is a little over hyped though. it's really not that tough. I was expecting super star wars type difficulty with everything I read about this game

That's because Hudson Soft (who actually published it with Probe Software being the actual developer of it) was acquired by Konami during a decade long period beginning in 2001 with Hudson Soft being folded into Konami Digital Entertainment 11 months afterwards.
This is a really bad game. Would not be appreciate if it was not from a Disney movie. I'm sure it was not meant to be a Disney game, and they changed the license at the last minute to get money. It was common back in the day.
Again, I know I wrote this already but, Just look at how CRAPPY and boring this game is. Why did the SNES not get used up to it's full potential? It really lacked quality action rpgs that could've been made in that era. Just compare the awesome Castlevania Portrait of Ruin or OOE to this garbage, really just compare the two. NO COMPARISON! I think the snes had the capabilities to produce at least 1 good action rpg but instead released not that many other than Zelda LTTP and thats about it. Such wasted potential, or many just bad 3rd party developers of the time with bad imagination and creativity. There are WAAYYY too many boring snes games than good ones to even count.

This game is too hard. A lot of situations are very likely to kill you so you can learn how to go through. Awesome longplay.

In the movie that came out 2017 with real actors, Gaston straight up shoots the Beast in the Climax. That guy is just plain sick.

Possible theory is that the objects attacking Beast were driven mad by the spell and now turned against their master.

ICEGOD2 I guess you could say Disney maybe a huge fan of capcom (for example: Mickey mousacapade, ducktales,darkwing duck,the little mermaid,etc.)

Did this guy cheat on the final boss? For some reason the arrows that Gaston fires is going through the Beast and he's not taking any damage.
Yes, you have a limited amount of time to complete the level; the rose acts as the timer. You can get extra time by picking up rose petals.
