I like how it’s labeled as a one-person kit but could easily be used to feed two or three people if you use the pots both as cooking vessels and bowls to eat out of. Making hot cocoa? Split it three ways between the pot, pan and cup to serve up three servings.
I have been eyeballing this kit for years, recently just pulled the trigger and bought it. I needed something bigger for camping. I love, love, love my GSI Pinnacle Soloist cookset as it’s small and all nests together plus I added a collapsing silicone cup for two total cups. That kit is great for backpacking and bikepacking. But I wanted something bigger and for camping. Thanks for the demo. It is indeed very good quality as is all their stuff! I like how this being a mess kit all nests together. Easy to pack in my car and it won’t rattle around.
I Almost have everything but your videos are a good refresher and the way you help us I will also Help any one just getting started keep up the good work and God bless 🛐 you highly in Jesus mighty name amen.
The GSI will Oil Can on you ( push on the bottom and it goes , thunk , thunk , thunk like old time oil cans ) , where the MSR Alpine Stowaway pots wont. Either are great ones to start with , I have a lot of years on my MSR Pot. Plus a decent pot can double as a fry pan if you want it to. Think of it as a frying pan with higher sides. Eliminating the extra weight of the frying pan. Several years ago I switched to Titanium , non stick from Evernew. The trick when cooking with Titanium is to lower the heat instead of increasing it. Have you tried the OvaEasy Egg Crystals ?
I have a titanium one (cheap one I got from Lixada) it works pretty well but youare right, you have to start with lower heat and then it works great. I have had the ovaeasy egg crystals, not bad either.
I used the fry pan this weekend form this kit for bacon and the pan literally folded in half like a taco from the heat, my burner was on low as well. Through it in the trash.
I love that you included the burn test. I can grill but can't cook worth a crap 😆. I picked up one of these today for $20 and look forward to using it. I just wish companies would include a lid. Thinking of making one out of dollar tree baking sheets
I compared this with the cookset I already have, and you're right...this one here seems to be MUCH more durable. Mine seem to have flimsy (albeit, light) handles, and the steel seems a bit thinner. By the way, LOVED the Nordiv 8 boots you reviewed. Buying two more pair for me and my son.
It can`t beat the Stanley fry pan, or the Stanley cook kit.

You edited the part of you scrubbing the pan for an hour!! lol. Great video!!
This thing was a hidden gem, more people discovering it now!!! Great kit overall, amazing price.
I especially appreciated the demo with cleaning. Practical demo. Thanks.
Wow thank you for your video That would go with my Stanley French press cook
If a pan is large enough to cook a pack of Knor rice sides and a cut up hot dog, I'm good. Thanks for the video and good luck.
a lot better than the cheap aluminum sets

Good quality gear with nice little added touches. Sweet find for $20! Thanks kindly!
Thanks, George. Good kit
Looks like nice kitchen ware too
I always appreciate your reviews and test videos, thank you!

The frypan works pretty good as a lid for the pot
wow! might be buying that mess kit! Great video!
THANKS AGAIN FOR SHARING
Thanks for the review. You are very thorough with your reviews.
Another nice informative video, always enjoyable. Have you done anything on gasifire type stoves. Thanks again from NE Ohio
I bought one can’t wait to use it
Good review.
I bought a stainless steel pot from Ray Mears years ago, strong and easy to clean, when camping I clean it with moss and grit, ideal!
I just purchased one of these kits via Amazon and the link you provided. This stainless kit should last me a long time. I appreciate your videos.
A thorough test as always. Looks like a good kit for 20

Thank you for the video.
I wonder if you can prep these like a wok.
Great video!! How does the quality of the stainless steel compare to the Stanley Adventure Fry Pan? Thanks 🙏
Great review thanks!
Seems pretty good lot better than that flimsy junk they use to sale
Does the glacier kettle fit inside the mess kit
Spam.......😝.
