We BLESS you too, Brother Bill Johnson. The sound is fantastic now at any distance. I have NEVER liked SPORKS: I use a Brunton titanium set of utensils and a long-handled stirring spoon. The Brunton set is flatter than the spork in the Wildo kit and should nest better.
Hey brother John,,, The mess kit looks interesting,,,, But I will definitely say this,,,, if a man is known by the friends he keeps,,,, Your on the top shelf brother,,!!!! You’re Blessed to have Bill Johnson as your friend. His Wisdom and Profound Spiritual insight has Blessed me numerous times ( to many to count). I know he too, is a avid Outdoorsman and loves bacon 🥓,,lol . Blessings to You and your Family,,,, Joshua
Thank you Brother Joshua! He has been my "Brother" for more than 30 years now. Distance is the only thing that separates us. May the Lords Blessings be Upon You And Yours!
Nice mess kit. I would buy it instantly if it were made of stainless. I'll get one and try it out though. If nothing else, my daughter will end up with a new piece for her bag.
Totally agree while that spork is innovative it is too big! That serrated edge would be a literal pain! Great video. Thanks for reviewing this mess kit!
My current mess kit consists of an old set that my mom had lying around and a K-Bar Spork with a knife that sheaths and clips into the handle. The tins are not very well secure when I fold over the handle on one of the components, though, and I agree with your hesitation about getting the folding/collapsible containers. But this video has kinda convinced me to go for it
Great review! I think you would really love the humangear uno utensil. It's the perfect size and would fit in this kit. It's got a fork on one end and a spoon on the other end.
I think my two Cents will fit here nicely: that messkit is really nice but ive noticed some qualitiy issues. There is Flash on most of the parts, you might want to use some time to at least fix that on the cups. Also as a left handed person, i have to be a bit more careful with the sporknife. Wildo does sell a separate cutlery Set. All in all i enjoy using the kit because its light and has neat features( its pricy though)
I use the Wildo mugs, the small for Whisky and the large for tea or coffee. I've had them a few years and so far no signs of cracking where they fold. And on the plus side, the 2 mugs weigh not much more than 1 silicon collapsible mug and they're a darn sight more stable.
My friend and brother I can attest they do not issue mess kits anymore at least in the Army when I was in during the 00’s 😢 but I grew up with the same one I still have in my surplus collection along with utensils the very same model you speak of 😉
AWESOME VIDEO BOONEY🔥🔥💀 ABSOLUTELY F'IN LOVE IT BAYYYYYBAYYYYY 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💀🔥💀🔥💀 I HAVE THE GENERIC BRAND MESS KIT MODELED AFTER THE WILDO. SERVICEABLE, BUT IM LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT MESS KIT. THAT SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING. BRAND IS RED ROCK.
@@boonedockery7220 hey Booney, hope all is well. Have you ever tried the uco mess kit that comes with the collapsible cup? Im thinking about grabbing that one maybe. God bless
I agree the military mess kits the US military has used for over a hundred years needs an overall, also don’t like sporks, Waldo nice kit would like to see the main portions be made out of stainless steel or titanium, so that it could be used with camp stove for heating…
Hey Bill! Another great video! I just watched your video about your patches and was wondering if you were able to start making them again? These are the types I have not been able to find. That was an awesome and inspiring video brother!!!
Thank You! I have not been able to afford a reorder yet, however I still have some left from my original orders. Email me the ones you want with your mailing address and I will send them to you. Things are crazy right now so it might take a little bit for me to be able to get them mailed. My e-mail address is boonedockery1750@gmail.com
Meant to semd this yesterdat. I have sent the E-mail to you. I understand the busy part! I just had a disc replaced in my neck so I will be on a 6 week slow down. 😁
If you haven't noticed, I don't use the "Rithm Method" that's why they don't promote the channel and many subscribers have been unsubscribed without their knowledge. They all thought I wasn't posting videos. Regardless, I'm not playing the game. I'm just doing my thing, if Folks like it, GREAT! Don't have time to check all their boxes....
$26.90 on Amazon. Looking into maybe getting a couple. I still like metal kits but may consider these because of the fact that they would be tactically quiet. Thanks for sharing, brother.
Thank you Brother! I have a Swedish mess tin set made of stainless steel just like the British aluminum design. I can't believe no on makes lids for these things! They would be fantastic multi-use mess kits/cook pots!

Thanks for the tip Brother! I just checked it out! That's REAL flatware for the woods! It's on my list! Thanks again!

Someone else mentioned that they should create one in stainless or titanium. Both would be awesome!

I agree with all your points! There are several "copies" I have seen but I have not purchased which are less expensive.
Try adding dry rice kernels to your salt shaker to absorb humidity.
I'll give it a try, Thanks!

That Would Be Fantastic!!!
I still use my US mess kit and an Esbit cook set with the alcohol stove
Awesome!
Humangear Gobites makes a great spoon and fork combo.
Thanks, I'll check them out!

If you can somehow fit a long handled metal spoon in there, that would be great, but it might not fit...then you could ditch the spork.
I Shall Experiment A Bit With That!
Wildo sells a self extendable? Cutlery Set. Made of the same Material as the spork
Hi brother. This wildo kit can be put inside of your retangular esbit stove? Hugs from Brazil!
Thanks for the tip brother! I'll try it!
Not a fan of the spork either. My grandkids love it when I break out the Wildo mess kit. I purchased another one for them.
Awesome! Grandkids Are A Gift! (That you can give back after you get them tired and sugared up😉)
For the algorithm 🇺🇲🦅
