WOW impressive ! I'm gonna order one ASAP before they are sold out, FYI, everything you review sells out ! Have a feeling some serious sponsors are coming your way, great job on years of excellent work sir !
A few years back I bought the whole kit which had a cooking base & canteen. Mine did not come with those clips with the hanging wire. That is a great addition!!!
I’ve had mine for a couple years & use it quite often. No problem’s with it. A Nalgene canteen fits pretty good, its a bit snug towards the top but the canteen is tapered & the pot have fairly straight sides.
That’s a cool little kit, I like the little nail wire hanging set. $50 seems like a great price for all you get. Great vid 👍🏼
My Walmart has Great Value brand chicken in the same packages as yours shown. Most varieties are shredded but two of them are 1/4 in. cubes. These are great as I add them to my Raman cups. I have moved to the cups for smaller portion, less sodium and no additional cup to wash. Just shake the chicken cubes on top of the noodles and pour the hot water over it. Fits nicely. The cups are also nice for emergencies/power outages if no hot water for cleaning dishes.
Have mine ordered and on the way. Will be used as a kit for the kids to grow up with. 👍🏼
Looks like a great little kit.
Hi. This kit is perfekt, i pimped it with a self made rubber take off seal for the lid and a strap, so it can be used as closed Container. This good if you get open foods on the run... this idea from the army times when we stayed in the postion and one got the food for all from the field kitchen.
slight update to my previous comment the Keith/Heavy Cover/iBasingo 1100ml titanium canteen will go in the large cup in this set but it will not fit the cenral seam on the canteen ends up about an inch above the rim of the cup acceptable to some people but....it means you need a pouch with at least an extra inch in height canteen pouches are a tight enough fit as is, the cup lid, handle raise it to vertical and gently push it sideways unless it gets a knock it should stay upright (in theory)
Appreciate you making this video, because I was looking at these.
Just bought it thanks to your review!
That's a very interesting modern take on my much loved Russian VDV canteen kit. The biggest issue with the Russian is the lack of a dedicated lid but that isn't an issue that can't be fixed simple enough.
Hello from Vorarlberg Austria 😄🇦🇹
I like the stove
Try putting the packet of chicken, unopened, with the Ramen noodles. Heating the water and the chicken at the same time! When done then mix together. Economical use of fuel and mess kit.
Once again, you've read my mind. I kind of jumped into buying some gear, without watching more videos, and without thinking about what would be best for me. I ended up paying thirty dollars for an ultra light cook set, with a "pot" and "frying pan", and they're pretty much the same exact things. The cutlery set was actually more worth the money, but now I know lol. Thanks for another great review, you really do find some of the coolest gear and it's appreciated! Stay safe out there and God bless!
great review,I looking for This product for a month, you are the first review on youtube,I have few titanium pot already, why not buy one more .lol
Very nice! I like the double container and the hanging bail set up.
I had been looking at getting some of these but wasn't sure. Now they are on my list to buy.
Nice kit.
