It’s amazing how the best movie villains are the nicest people in real life. Roadhouse is an all time favourite and I hated Jimmy with a passion, but Marshall is such a cool guy!
Patrick Swayze accidentally cracked Marshall Teague's orbital bone during the fight scene at the lake. This delayed the production of Roadhouse for several weeks. All together that fight scene took over 70 hours to film.
I don't believe they were really Punching each other but it made for good fight scene! and we all liked the movie action, Action, action. Rip....... Patrick Swayzee
I always suspected Marshall had martial arts background. This film has the best fighting I've seen.Jimmy only uses the most efficient punches and throws, you wonder if anything can stop him.
Dancing was often incorporated to M.A. in order to disguise the banned discipline, one example, the Brazilian art capoeira, and dancers, especially ballet dancers have the perfect base for M.A. cos of their agility strength suppleness and stamina.
The thing was Swayze did break a couple of ribs by that log. He went to the hospital on his own accord, got fixed up, and went back to work immediately.
- Let's not cheat the audience. - Ok. Then Patrick ripped out Marshall's throat. lol. Love the movie. One of the best in its genre. It's sad Rowdy Herrington only has few movies to his name. "Gladiator" (1992) is another hidden gem.
Yeah tbh Patrick Swayze was an amazing actor RIP and Demi Moore is also a great actress but they have ZERO on-screen chemistry, it's just so hard to pass them off as a couple
Wow I didn’t know that. I always said the fight looked so real. They were actually really trying to kill each other. Mad respect to both men. Still to me the best action movie along with die hard.
Ok, someone explain to me that the guy said my right hip is killing me right now at the end of the video, the fact that this is not covered in the comments irritates me more than anything
You like this shit don't you? No I love this shit Lol 😂 1:18-1:23. Next great fight besides this one is the one in Way Of The Dragon between Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris.
Professional was hitting amateur on a film set!!!!! F....ng film director .He ( Marshall T) broke his ( Patrick.S) ribs. It is unacceptable!!!!.Use of material arts in self-defense !!!! only !!!
I've never seen this video but the way Marshall describes the fight and their interaction is truly amazing. Roadhouse is a movie all need to see.
Esta es la verdadera q fue un boom no se di la nueva alcance algo así
WOW!! So that's why the fight scene looked so authentic. Cuz they were really kicking each other's asses!! 😱
I always said this has some of the best fight scenes in Hollywood. Now I know why. What a great movie, what a great time it was to be alive then.
This dude is mad cool
Glad they found some camaraderie,it was a bad ass fight
Much respect to both actors
R.I.P. Patrick Swayze,you were a class act
It’s amazing how the best movie villains are the nicest people in real life. Roadhouse is an all time favourite and I hated Jimmy with a passion, but Marshall is such a cool guy!
I can agree lol the villains are always nice people. You have to admit Jimmy did make it intense lol
@@frederickhunter2930 "Damn boy, I though you was GOOD!"
Yes, I hated his guts. So very cool to know the actor is a nice guy, and a great actor....cause we hate him!
@@bandini22221 😂😂 classic!!
Swayze was a ballet dancer?
This was from a special about Patrick Swayze.
True heartfelt respect from Marshall.
This is one of those movies that you watch everytime its on
j rand Yes it is.
His best film in my opinion
Its on right now. Defo 1 of my top 5
And Tombstone
Fckn A!!….
What a classic , true fight of men. Amazing movie
great video saw this on tv when it aired shame about the swearing by the poster going over Marshall's talking at end.
One of the greatest guy movies ever made! I know it by heart.
I love this movie it is one of my favorites of all time.
Excellent upload. I knew Marshall was a fighter, but had no idea that the fight was so real.
Patrick and Marshall became so close that they would rehearse the Ghost pottery scene however the role eventually went to Demi Moore.
🤣🤣
Thanks. That made me chuckle for the first time in months
See, I heard they worked really hard on the big "lift" scene from Dirty Dancing.
@@jwil4905 🤣🤣🤣
Now, that was the funniest thing I've heard in a while. 😅🥲🥹😂😭🤣
Patrick Swayze said that once he received a strike and didnt cry, that is when the two began to gain mutual respect.

Marshall have the best evil laugh in a movie 😂
I don't believe they were really Punching each other but it made for good fight scene!

I love how he's even wearing almost the exact same shirt like in the movie. Marshall Teague was something else and ironically an extremely good guy.
This is a hidden gem.
I always suspected Marshall had martial arts background. This film has the best fighting I've seen.Jimmy only uses the most efficient punches and throws, you wonder if anything can stop him.
You hate his character in the movie but he sounds like a very genuine man in real life and spoke highly of Swayze.
I was loving the whole video Until the weird alien voice just showed up out of nowhere
He was Walker, Texas Ranger's 1st and last nemesis......he's a bad guy legend......😏
Dancing was often incorporated to M.A. in order to disguise the banned discipline, one example, the Brazilian art capoeira, and dancers, especially ballet dancers have the perfect base for M.A. cos of their agility strength suppleness and stamina.
Thanks for mentioning capoeira! So true!
Bruce Lee was a cha-cha champion before he did MA.

Patric actually ripped a knee in a kick. Was supposed to be in Predator. And the knee injury sidelined him!
Loved his nonesty..Kudos to you brother!

Greatest interview ever
Wow! How cool is this?!
I worked as an extra on a movie set about 15 years ago and met Marshall Teague. Really nice guy.
I got to find the original of this interview its too good
Thats pretty cool, i hated the guy in this movie, but thats what his job was and he nailed it
- Let's not cheat the audience.
- Ok.

Better on scene romance scene than the one from Ghost.

Marshall Teague is awesome great actor in road house Patrick Swayze is cute 😍 Kelly lynch, Sam Elliott is amazing .
Why didn't this guy get more bad guy roles?
@@danielvasquez8830 he did in walker texas ranger.

Badass fight scene.
Great scene
You know looking at Jimmy in Roadhouse, something behind him in real life.
I saw that actor appear in a Columbo episode where he plays a murder victim and he was wearing the same clothes.
The dentist episode
Love Marshall Teague.
Freaking legends!
No need for stunt doubles. 2 actors and mutual respect and how about the Jeff Healy Band! A classic film!
This is AWESOME
very nice movie
3-03: To paraphrase Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon - 'What was thaaa?'
A lot of fighters have taken ballet
Jean Claude Van Damme
Rough and tough Jim Brown .. Cleveland Brown fullback.. Took ballet
I just hope Hollywood doesn't do a remake.

Anyone know where I can see the full interview
Where is this interview from? Is there a full version of it somewhere on the web?
Very cool.
i have 2 say dat comment marshall said 2 patrick bout what he did 2 guys n prison has 2 🐝 da most horrendous line in a movie ever. my goodness!!!
Ok, someone explain to me that the guy said my right hip is killing me right now at the end of the video, the fact that this is not covered in the comments irritates me more than anything
I was thinking the same thing. The idiot was so loud it interfered with the video. He needs a kick from Teague, but I would do it.
Sucks that chuck norris can't still fight like marshall but I think Chuck is alot older
Rip Patrick Swayze
Джимми так и остался в той джинсовой рубахе после съёмок..
You walker texas ranger chuck norris friend

Bruce Lee studied dancing and regarded it as excellent preparation for martial arts. Period, end of story.....

I feel like he made that entire story up on the spot
This entire interview reeks of bullshit.
Cant believe the comments, the fight was lame as hell, and we’ve only got one man’s word about it…
If the fight was lame the survivor would only big himself up.
Your comment is more lame than the fight.
feel in love gay ?
That was meant in a bro mance way, not gay.
No it's not "feel in love gay" it's you feel in love to wanna take it the wrong way.
