Lmao somehow I think I might own this exact bike if you sold it… it has the same progrip gas cover and the fuel tank has the same exact dent. Did u sell this bike?

Sooo, I guess I can drain the gas like you showed while the tank is still installed? :D Exactly what I looked for. Was working abroad for a year, now the bike wont start. Starter relay got damaged while just sitting in the garage, for whatever reason, but that was easy enough to locate by bypassing and I already installed a new one. Now I'm not exactly sure what's wrong, going to drain the gas, change the spark plugs (they are old anyway) and hope the old lady will start. Carbs where cleaned and adjusted roughly 8.000km ago, so I hope I don't have to touch them, cause it seems scary to work on them.

it's EASIER if you dont remove the tank. just unplug the line off the carbs and point it into a container.

Hi.I have another problem...i didn't start my sv650 one year because battery go down...after one year i bought booster and i try to start it...but than become a problem...bike don't start and the fuel is leaking from a tank vent...quite a lot...
I think all the fuel is passing carburetor and leaking out from the vent.
has someone had the same problem?
    Tnx for the answers...cuss!
