I did the Ivory King without the guard to close the gate because I wanted to speedrun the snow area😂 brother I am the most stubborn dude on earth...took me 45 try
He clears a lot of enemies in the areas. He even says at one point "I don't need to kill every one of them." But trust me. You can play dark souls alot faster than this if you just wanna run through the game.

It’s the worst gameplay in the series for sure. Other than that the story was better than 3. DS2 put the franchise on the map, first one I played
