I’m just getting into AoS after playing 40k for a long time. This channel is by far the best. Love the curated format and narration. 40k batreps could learn something from this.
Some tactics, learning and faction reviews would be great.
If SBGL would have remembered their Terror ability, it would have been an easy win for them. I think it came into play at least twice. I know, it's tough to remember all the new rules. You need an off camera spotter on both sides, yelling out the rules to you when you miss one. Great game either way.

Vamp player missed a thing on S2D turn 3; Dragon prevents inspiring presence.
I cannot believe the Knights didn't make their wards against the stomp mortals haha.

Really looking forward to the new soulblight book release. I’m curious to see what turns up in tournament play as there are a ton of different ways to build and play the army. Even vyrkos is looking sneaky strong with hordes of zombies and wolves.

Great match! Although correct me if im wrong, I dont think chosen actually have the eye of the hods keyword, so they wouldn't get chaotic conduit, they just get one roll at the beginning.
They get it from the Undivided mark

@@eshubabadidi_974 I think undivided works great in LotFP because you can choose an additional mark for them each turn!
Super cool battle report with new Soulblight battletome. The army seems more grindy than it used to be and the hammer have been reinforced, making it a very interesting new comer in the meta !

finally i can see my favourite undead play before i get the book, still unsure how i feel about the changes as i expected more ressurection mechanics but i really like the skeletons changes etc so im really torn apart

Didn't realise The Hunger heals immediately after fighting rather than at the end of the combat phase. Makes VLoZDs crazy durable...

those 5 man Knights really suprised me- internet seems to think if they aren't 10 man units, then you just take VG instead. Internet seems to have spoken too soon, these boys EAT
Since it's a new book, I'd like to hear more of ya'lls thoughts and breakdowns of the army. Right now we're just seeing the teases from WH Community, would love more of a look under the hood at what the army can do now!
I think you're doing great at learning this stuff, do it your own way - there's so very much it's best to do it your own way rather than absorbing non stop lectures.

Ridge was unlucky with those save rolls...... 3+ -6+ WOW.
The VLoZD had spiked earlier vs the Chosen, so I didn't feel bad about it at all about things balancing out 😏
Was there a cohesion issue at the end of round 3 with the graveguard in the center?
Very nice list for Slaves and great game. Question: you can still call tactics like cunning manoeuver even if objective is not activated? The objective still counts has being present on the field even if it doesn't score? Thanks
That is correct. You can control it, you just can't score for purposes of 1-2-More
Prediction after turn 1: tough start for death getting the unwanted turn lol but depending on if one of the dragons are in range of Be'lakor this could swing pretty heavy in their favor. If they can't soulblight can very easily body block with the skeletons and counter punch with the dragons next turn. I have a gut feeling this will come down to whoever lands the first solid hit with that being said i dont think Be'lakor will die in one round of combat to a dragon anyways so im giving this one to the slaves after a tough fight. having only 2-3 decent damage output units puts you at massive risk against this type of slaves army

What you think about the new book? The loose of every +hit and +wound together increase in points have pushed the army down or the new tricks as bk+wk are enougth?
New tricks are strong, I think the books still solid. The command trait to hit on 2's against d3 key units is great in conjunction with an ethereal VLoZD!
You’ve probably answered this a ton, but where can I find the purple crystal beads/gems?…they make the table pop

Soulblight are very strong at the moment. I'm not sure how to manage their troop regeneration because they can even resurrect completely dead units. But this was a good fight. Enjoyed watching. Can't wait for more.
Was great BUT, i thought it was supposed to be the ossia island boys against the slaves!?

I don't think terrorgheists are a great pick in the new book, same as the old. Way more effective to use those points for something else. Probably should've had Neferata in this list, she's amazing.
Spoiler: wow, in the last 2-3 turns SBGL failed every single important roll (including the priority rolls). Wonder how it would have gone if they succeed just half of it.

Chosen does not have the Eye of the Gods keyword, how do you conduit them? Maybe I am missing something 😅
Mortal and Ogroid units with the Undivided mark gain the EotG keyword!

In turn 3 if Jordan was able to cast fight last on VLoZD , he could activate Chosen 2 time in a Row because both units had fight last, that was a very interesting combo and the big vampire could be down. Anyway i can see people play 2 VLoZD , expecially in legion of blood. The hunger ability is so good now!:)

really interesting S2D list - do you think it has legs competitively, or was this a weaker list to give a new battletome a better match up? Very tempted to get a CL on Kark and Belly in my list...
These are all strong pieces for Slaves, besides maybe the Mindstealer. I think LotFP is solid but overshadowed by stronger Subfactions. Doesn't mean it can't perform well though!
I believe Legion has legs competitively. I run a similar list with some success. I use 6 varanguard instead of chosen. Legion is just a bit more techy than the general player likes i think and eye of the gods is what adds a lot of power to the list which can be swingy. Host and KotET are still the better option competitively tho.
@@SeasonofWar a few days ago new points were assigned to s2d, so kark lord was actually 200 pts and knights 220
