Hello Scott I just found your channel today while I was looking for bonsai bench ideas. I just wanted to say that I have very similar grow lights but mine are on a stand, but with a very similar price. I was very pleasantly surprised with them. I have them over several Alocasia's ( I also have a house full of plants) and my plants really spurted with growth when I struggled with them without the grow lights. I love them! What I loved was the growth I got but also they were not HOT! I recently bought Sansi Grow lights that are VERY hot to touch! I will not put them up because of how hot they are. They actually burned me! So now I have about $160.00 worth of lights I won't use. I tried to return them but it was too much to send them back. For now, I am stuck with them. But my cheapies are still going. My Alocasias are actually producing pups, or corms, whatever they are called, but after a repot I had 6 or 7 corms to pot up. I am happy with them. Just my useless 2 cents, LOL
Just a thought, Scott. In the chicken pot so that the jade does not sit in water, even if it is taken out to water, what about some fine gravel in the bottom of the pot for the jade pot to sit on. I know that you will take out the tree after watering, but, sometimes people forget. That way any water that does drain, the pot is high enough to keep the roots from sitting in water. This way the pot is even with the lip of the chicken pot for easy removal.
Cool. Flowering bonsai. Nice small flowers. Cool little succulents on the bench in some nice looking pots.

Interesting. Very interesting. You could probably bend the lights to different areas of the bench for where your trees are.
