Arlene was a beautiful person, sweet and funny. The heart pendant she often wears was stolen by a mugger in later years. Her maid knocked a dumbbell out of her window and it killed somebody so she had some bad luck. It’s too bad.
I only found out about WML 3 years ago. I just love it. thanks whoever uploaded these. True gems of humor. Especially the Rosalind Russell episode1953,
No wonder after my sister and I went to bed I could hear my parents laughing hysterically out in the living room because they were watching shows like this.
@@mikewebber2637 For sure. The DIRTY jokes the ladies got away with stun me. Also, I honestly am not sure who acted more "friendly" toward guests of the opposite sex, Bennett or Arlene. That clip with the young male gym instructor is unreal. Calm down, ladies!
WML - a towering mountain of class, humor, and good taste. Gone forever, but never forgotten. I was fortunate in that WML was one of the few TV programs I was allowed to watch.
I recently got hooked on these old episodes. The panel is fantastic and has great chemistry. It’s fun to see the old celebrities. They are very intelligent and funny.
Thank You! Its so nice that you like the older shows, times were different back then and am older so I remember them well. I Love Arlene Francis, she one of a kind for sure, but it is a tearable what happened to Dorothy Kilgallen, am not going to say what happen but its a story you should read. :-)
I wasn't around when this crime happened but I read a lot of what happened. She's buried 4min near me. I give my most respect to this smart classic diva icon . R.i.p Dorothy. Loved loved Arlene beautiful and classy as well.
It's missing the best moment of all, when Dorothy recognizes the mystery guest as her dad and exclaims "Are you my Father??" 10 years before Star Wars!
@Jocelyn Señado, I truly appreciate these videos you do from What's My Line & I know how time consuming it is to cut, put together into these compilations, from wherever you may be, you have a fan in Canada. If I may make a suggestion, a video collection of Steve Allen on the show of his funny bits? Kindly a fan of your channel.
Thank you very much. I am most humbled by your message. I'm from the Philippines. If my schedule loosen up a little, I'll make another one for Steve Allen. Keep safe ♥️
Francis was known for wearing a heart-shaped diamond pendant, a gift from Gabel, which she wore on nearly all of her What's My Line appearances. A mugger robbed her of the pendant as she was leaving a New York City taxi in 1988.

Arlene had the most beautiful smile. I always said it looked like her eyes were smiling too...
Dorothy and Arlene are Hilarious!!! There will never be any one like them
I love Dorothy and Arlene.
Arlene was just a riot.

Arlene's dad was Armenian. Her mom was Anglo. Mix stuff and you get unique beauty!! Her smile was stunning.
I never knew she had Armenian heritage! Thanks for that fact ❤️
No wonder after my sister and I went to bed I could hear my parents laughing hysterically out in the living room because they were watching shows like this.
Did they get up in Monday morning to go to work?
It got pretty risque for fifties television.

Just love these 2 ladies, words cannot express my feelings, tears are expected when watching this❤️❤️😇🤩
Thank you for putting this together. I’ve grown to love watching WML over the last year or so, and these ladies are big reasons why. Simply charming.
Me too.
Arlene often had Dorothy in giggles!
Kilgallen was brilliant!
I recently got hooked on these old episodes. The panel is fantastic and has great chemistry. It’s fun to see the old celebrities. They are very intelligent and funny.
I came to love them both, in 2021.
How I wish Dorothy lived longer. Her death must have devastated Arlene.
her murder
Dorothy is my favourite person on the show.
Perfect ending song. Nice job!
Mr Thorpe was so sweet.

I know all about it....I believe she was murdered...

I have no idea who Arlene Francis was but based on the episodes I've binged watched, she would have been a massive tv celeb today.
She was everything from stage actress to high society xxx
I loved this thank you.
Miss those days....class
I have watched this multiple times. Thanks for the compilation.
I loved Dorothy’s laugh. 😂❤
It's missing the best moment of all, when Dorothy recognizes the mystery guest as her dad and exclaims "Are you my Father??" 10 years before Star Wars!
How about Arlene's "Oh, Dorothy!?!" just before that? ;)
@@the_lost_navigator she says that so softly, with love ... Oh, Dorothy
Very poignant indeed.

And yourself as well, stay safe :)
Such beautiful ladies. Charm, beauty, intelligence and wit. ❤
They are all great I love ❤ these shows so funny
Compare and contrast with today's celebrities.
Francis was known for wearing a heart-shaped diamond pendant, a gift from Gabel, which she wore on nearly all of her What's My Line appearances. A mugger robbed her of the pendant as she was leaving a New York City taxi in 1988.
and you are the 100th person to comment that.
From England: OMG were these women hot? and so funny!
Perfect song for the end. Thank you so much.
way too loud tho
Arlene Francis was so cute! ❤
Arlene is so funny ❤😂
Arlene was pretty sharp, and very hot
Such a innocent time when this show was on.
I liked when both Arlene Francis and Martin Gabel were on the show. However Arlene Francis and Dorothy Killgallen were phenomenally entertaining.
Dorothy had so many years ahead of working, writing and laughing...who dare to stop it???
Could have warned us about that blast of music at the end...
She was so funny.
I think i read that her trademark, beloved, heart necklace was stolen from her.
I think that it is safe to assume that, extrapolating all the empirical data both visual and aural that Arlene Francis most definitely could and would have been deemed to be recognized as an absolute joy in the bedroom portion of the house. Dorothy Kilgallen would inarguably have been likewise evaluated as such, even furthermore given to a sporadically, intermittent, simultaneous session as the unanimously approved criterion of fortune, or luck, would so lend itself in all of its glorious mercy. On a big ol' Sealy Posturepedic©, if possible.

RIP if you are on headphones and it hits 10:48
Who said fifties television was uptight?
The show was not interesting without these two. I do not watch any episode after Dorothy was killed.
I do watch, but I miss Dorothy!
Ditch the music at the end.
RIP people wearing headphones
Arlene was sexy as heck! Dorothy, not so much. Arlene had the most beautiful shoulders in the world.
Hi
Hello ❣️
