For sure, we have yet to review a Tern. I should have mentioned these are some of the nicest accessories that we've actually tested. Thanks for watching!
They should come out with a deluxe model called "Big Kid". BMX and swept back bars.. Use a hopped up Bafang750 geared rear hub and a 28 amp controller with a Schwinn Singray 5 speed stick shifter.. Of course it could not be a folder but it could get an adjustable banana seat with a sissy bar on back. That would bring back memories..Lol .. Give it the ability to go 30 or so in 5th gear PAS 5 😂
Great video! Question: motor appears pretty quite. Any comments on the noise from the motor? Motor made by? I have looked at XT lite, but they appear noisy. I have other e-bikes and gave one away because of the motor noise.
It is hard for us to know what your noise tolerance is. So I don't want to recommend something that you are not going to like. The Flyer Ebikes have unbranded motors. So not sure who makes them. I think your best bet might be to reach out the Flyer and see about using their "30 day money back guarantee". Just make sure you read the fine print first.
Ok here's the negatives of this bike, it's only goes 20mph, it's 1700 dollars, the battery is on the outside. The lectric xp is a better all around bike which you can have a rack on. It goes faster, is around 1000 dollars, and has a integrated battery. Plus it's from a very trustable ebike name.
Yeah, this is a strange bike, feature-per-dollar. The polish of many small details, the way the folding sections mate, the display, the chainguard. The UL-standard battery. They have succeeded in that regard. But it’s as if they put this bike to market without regard to the competition. It’s almost double the price of the XP 3.0, but has no suspension fork, hydraulic disc brakes, 1/2 the weight capacity of the rack, non-integrated battery, weak motor…no gear set?!?
What do you think of Flyer's folding ebike?

Regarding accessories for a cargo bike, Tern probably has one of the largest selection of accessories in the cargo bike market.
