Love this! ❤❤❤❤ I always get the moisture control charcoal containers and they will pull moisture out of your closet and collect inside the container when they fill up you just throw them away. Every little bit helps but I never thought about the cedar I’m gonna have to get some of that.

Great topics. Love the cedar wood tip. Good point on putting the money you’d spending buying a Twilly toward taking your bag to the boutique for a spa. I’m not a bag accessory gal but I’ll keep these in mind in case I jump on the bag accessory train.
Agree, a bag insert is a must. Thanks for sharing good tips, GPS. Xx

Just got myself some cedar wood hangers. literally 2 minutes after watching the video. Thanks GPS. ☺️ Btw, I remember when we talked about the smile on my birkin a few months ago, I managed to get it off just by carefully brushing it with a cloth. I never wore my birkin with the clochette again after that. 😅

Hi! Great video as usual! Thank you! - Question - Moisture in the air is bad? What if they are in my room with a humidifier that runs pretty daily ? Are humidifiers bad for leather bags?

I do not like to Twillies myself I don’t like them on my bags or others lol 😂 they just don’t appeal to me only if I had a white bag and notice some type of staining, would I ever get one on the handle? I was thinking I might want a little rodeo or Pegasus to go on my Birkin 25 I haven’t made up my mind yet. I’m going to try to get a b30 soon. Maybe I will use one on a bigger bag and thanks for the tips about the lock. I’m gonna have to stop using it on the outside of the Birkins! No Smiley faces 😮for me! Love you and your channel soo informative and love your personal style ❤❤❤❤❤

I have heard so many horror stories from my SA about people using cheap twillies (from Zara, Amazon and lower end brands) and having issues with colour transfer from the twilly to the vachetta handles 😰

Great video! I have a Hac 50 and trying to convince 7RP about making and insert for me but my mission is not going well lol… so I bought from Jenny Krafts but it is loosing shape and pilling.. not the best quality I guess. However the insert is very light so it’s a great point! Any thoughts about that? Thank you 🤗

Do the cedar wood blocks work in humid countries? I'm afraid that the blocks might grow mould before they can ward off moths.... as I live right at the equator.

As just realized I own all the accessories that you mentioned 😅 but the cedar block (I’ll buy it today 🤣) Also… I do own 30+ twillies 😅 but heard me out… I own an Black Birkin… the twilly make my Birkin combine with any outfit all year round… Also only 2 of them are from Hermès. All my other twillies are from Etsy and they cost from $20 to $45 so it wasn’t that bad 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Hello GPS, I am a fan of twillies. To elucidate, I used the time during COVID to begin switching from LV's to Hermès. I purchased my 1st LV shortly after my son's birth in 1979. I'm now a grandmother with 5 Standard poodles and need to travel internationally from The States to see this only child/DIL & grandson. After 43 years of LV purchases, I definitely needed to downsize and change things up. I choose Hermès. It made sense to start with a Bolide 35. Shortly after the 1st purchase, I bought twillies. Like most of us, the daily use of disinfectant and hand cream has become part of life. I prefer the "naked" look of handbags showing the elegant design elements and leather without distracting tchotchkies, but the twillies have saved my handles from the aftermath of the disinfectant/hand cream merry-go-round. I doubt this routine will change as I believe variations of COVID are here to stay. Despite my preference for naked bags and the added expense, I will continue to purchase twillies for my top handle bags for functional reasons, not aesthetic. I'm sold on them. However, people who are far more particular about care for their Hermès, carrying wipes, etc. most likely do not need twillies. I agree with you, Twillies are just another added expense. Thanks so much for your video presentatons. As I retired educator, I find your them carefully thought out and highly planned, articulate, informative and well executed with a natural progression devoid of verbosity, making them a joy to follow. Really well done, GPS.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful insights 🖤 I'd die to hear you share the LV wisdom and secrets you must have acquired over the decades 😍 You mentioned something interesting, I'm only not a fan of Twillies when it comes to more elaborate - one could argue, loud - bags, like the Birkin, which already have a lot going on. When it comes to an understated and exquisitely minimalist bag, like the Bolide, I can absolutely see how a set of Twillies could add a touch of spice. Your feedback means more than you know, thank you. Hugs, G

Oh, I had no idea moths could also damage leather. Whenever they come to visit my dressing, they seem to have the greatest appreciation for my cashmere pieces which are usually hung on ..... hangers made of cedar wood! I am therefore not so sure about cedar wood's repulsive capacity being that strong.
Since we began using masks almost 2 years ago, I have found 2 tricks that have been proven to be 100% efficient against moths: on my most prone to get eaten cashmere pieces, I did hang some masks on which I had previously sprayed a solution made of water and diluted essential oils (often camphor, peppermint, lemon/ lime, basil...). For the sweaters that are folded and stacked inside my dressing, I just put various soap bars on each shelf.
I haven't pulled the trigger on 7RP inserts yet. Just the idea of spending that much on an inner accessory is just breaking my heart. I did win a Samorga giveaway on another youtube channel months ago and it did surprisingly revive my Kelly that was beginning to sag!
Totally agree with you about the twillys covering the handle. Not only it is a waste of money having to purchase them at least once a year, it is also a waste of time coz the knot is prone to regularly get undone. I didn't know Hermès SPA was also able to change the handle. I hence won't be afraid to buy lighter shades anymore!

When I bought the cedar blocks from my dry cleaner, I was advised that the scent of cedar wood fades over time, so you must remember to gently sand the exterior with sandpaper, once or twice a year!!! Do you think that could be why yours haven't been effective?
I can't blame you, it's a huge investment to make but I love the way they feel and make my bags look. Aww congratulations!! 🎉 I'll have to give Samorga a test then.
What an excellent point, I didn't even think of how time consuming they must be 😅 Yes, anything on the exterior of the bag can be fixed and replaced, including the handles.

Remember, women tend to like to dress things up ... we grew up with dolls dressing them... so women tend to like to dress their pets and children and many time the handbag is treated like a pet or child.
