Cover move is a tank ability that only transports the user into a position to "cover" or defend their ally. She cant just teleport whereever. She has to have an ally to "cover" to teleport. It just so happens to work really well for her since she has no agility while Sally has high agility.
According to the LN, Sally doesn't take any damage at all until at least level 25 (one of her skills has that as a requirement in order to gain it).
She has another skill that requires zero damage until level 35 too.

Yeah, devs always hate it when player discovers that poison stacks. Maple flooding the sea with poison ... yeah, she stacked poison debuffs in a massive area.

Solving the puzzle weakened the sea boss and changed the reward but it wasn't supposed to be beat either although the fight was actually harder in the light Novel

Well, Risa is actually a pro gamer with tons of trophies in her room, so when compared with normal players she doesn't look like a human. The opposite of her friend Kaede, which is basically a noob who plays for fun. One is skilled, one is clueless, both are OP.
Also most of the ways that maple defeats her bosses end up being essentially war crimes.
i think you might be confused with something. Maple cover move, allow her to dash to an allies, but Sally is right next to her, so no where to dash too. Also unsure how the effect and the chains would work too.

@@galonski64 been a while snice i seen this but im pretty sure it wasn't meant to be used to cover to a ally she just using it like that, i thought it was meant to be like rush to a boss and tank move like in WOW
@@MystiCalBEING89 It's exactly meant to cover your allies...the great shield is supposed to be in front of the party, tanking, which puts them right in front of the boss. What cover does is allow them to teleport directly in front of an ally to shield them from a direct attack. Maple just uses it differently because she has no speed and Sally is super speed, so they have reversed the roles and Sally acts as aggro to the boss while Maple protects Sally from attacks that Sally wouldn't be able to dodge otherwise.
