@@YaBoyRockLee 9:02 the looks on Mai and Yui's faces: 'That's our sempai.'

@@YaBoyRockLee The reason no other gets those quests is because NPC get ignored. It is a stupid thing to do as the side quests in MMO's sometimes give great rewards, but most players simply ignore the NPC's that do not have quest marks above their heads. As you can see in NWO no NPC has a quest marking and so people forget that NPC's can give side quests, or they hear it and see what is needed and give up. In the movie 'Free Guy' the ignoring of the NPC's is even an important plot point.
Machine God is easily her most powerful form. The thing is, the devs did program big negatives to make Machine God not too OP. The power of Machine God is based upon the power and rarity of the armor the user is wearing, and the transformation destroys the armor. For a normal player, it would be a rarely used transformation, and one they would never want to use their best armor for.
The reason it's so OP for Maple is because of the unique property of her armor, if you remember from episode 1. Her armor is an auto-repairing armor that gets stronger every time it has to repair. So, instead of the drawbacks of Machine God would be for a normal player, using it only makes it more powerful every time.
it synergizes perfectly well....
It's like Maple loves making the Devs her bitch.
@@midnightgear2616 she doesnt even realize it lmao
Maple's eating things alive strategy only works because she can literally ignore the enemy's ongoing damage effects, usually getting stuck in that demon stomach would melt down even the tankiest hit point score way too fast. With maple though its the old saying made truth: "If you cant lose, you will eventually win"
plus without devour she would likely wont even be able to tear the meat off in the first place
i think the developer make "demon lord" and "machine god" to counter maple
i mean imagine maple versus someone use atrocity or someone with firepower like machine god + fly
but the developer don't gift the skill for free (need quest), the problem is maple found it first XD
Loving Sacrifice: she found a quest that no one if any saw, or couldn't survive the gauntlet of enemies in the escort mission.
Atrocity: she stumbled into a hidden boss fight
Machine God: level 3 is brand new & people are just now exploring it, but she got lost in the fog while flying & ended up at the main quest boss battle before anyone else.
I think atrocity's quest has loving sacrifice as a perquisite. And the gear that started machine gods fight was outside the loving sacrifice church. So.....yeah. Ultra difficult quest gated off all these phase 2-3-4 forms.
@@DamnDaimen what also helps Maple is that most players ignore NPC's that do not have quest markers and NWO has no obvious quest markers so other players may not be aware of the side quests.
So now she's an angel, a Demon AND a Gundam. Sure, why not, WHY NOT!?
Machine God uses the armor as sacrifice(depending on the rarity stats) for its attack power and we all know that maples armor that once destroyed it repairs itself and become stronger... so yeah its an endless power loop armor sacrifice becomes machine god, armor regens becomes more powerful, then use machine god again and machine god is more powerful than before then rinse and repeat....
Which is scary cause machine god basically becomes more powerful as her black armor and that machine god is basically a one woman army who needs an army when you have maple
The devour skill was used as skill slot so the shield does it automatically
What i love, no one tries to hide she op. A lot are aware from event 1, even the game maker know.
The lesson in bufuri is you have to have fun in games even if you lose and not to be fuckíng toxic
Magic boy's magic box is basically a two parter, he has one ability that, every day/24 in game hours, grants him access to a random skill or ability (losing access to the prior day's one in the process). The ability gained can be an attack skill, passive, defensive... class specific... just about anything in the game I suspect, such as the ability to mine for minerals and like materials like.. well, a miner. Then he has his special boxy item which lets him cast a spell or skill, paying the costs for it as usual at the time... but Store the usage for later, even days or months later.
I believe the storage can only work for active skills/spells, but dont quote me on that one, and he seems limited to storing a given skill/spell only once, hence why he keeps using different ones usually.
The three big upsides for him doing this is Versatility: given that he can use this combo to access spells and skills from completely different classes which both lets him have a high chance of having the 'right tool for any given job' but also makes it harder to predict what he'll do next in a battle and Burst power: He's potentially able to unload a bundle of high end abilities that would normally come with cooldowns or just cost so much mana that he'd have to hold back after using just one or two or run dry. The main downside, if you want to call it that, is that it takes a full day for him to gain a new ability to store so once he burns through his stock it will take him a long time to replenish. Also he has no control over what ability he gains in a given day and thus no real control over what abilities he may potentially be able to stock up on.
Still a decidedly OP combo which helps fit him nicely in with all the other maple madhats
So: she's angel, a demon and a Gundam. Sure, why not?
Episode 1 Maple says it's the first game she ever played
Yup
She is the final boss
Lol, loving these end of episode discussions Adorkale Nerd is growing on me. Now I wish she was back in One Piece reactions too. But it's great still seeing you and Erza learning and trying to figure out One Piece and creating theories. Well guys great reaction as always, and looking forward to the next episodes. My main thing is that this series is so short.
Yea. She does great as she gets comfortable
@@YaBoyRockLee It comes off the surgery went well. I'm glad for that. Hope the rest of the family is doing well also.
Maple "NAOFUMI MASH HAVE I EXCEEDED YOUR EXPECTATIONS?"
Gotta the love the Turtle's Kame-hame-ha (Turtle in Japanese is: 「亀」'kame')
YaBoyRockLee: Yeah, Godzilla!?
Maple seriously would have an OP pokemon team if she was a trainer.
Imagine Syrup, Hydra, and the monsters from Seeping Chaos and Predator being her pokemon... In fact, Syrup is already like a mix of Blastoise and Venesaur and capable of using an attack that reminds me of Hyper Beam.
wait wait i just noticed god machine originally it was dues machina which is latin for god machine
One of Maple's Deus Ex Machina.... is a literal Deus Machina
Maple is what happens when you try to plan for everything in a d&d campaign and fail, because people will always find loopholes.
And Still not her final forms!
It's still not last form from her hahaha
But in the future, I don't know season 2 or 3. Pyne and May will get power up too. yeah maybe counter attack for Maple, but we always know, Mapple always think out the box to use her skill hahaha
Most epic episode 0w0 and she's OP
I think maple able to learn many rare skills.
Like as a gift?
@@YaBoyRockLee yup...one thing for sure, she always take a special quest from npc.
The reason that maple can learn so many skills is that there's no requirement such as being a great shielder necessary to learn a given skill. If there were requirements she wouldn't be able to continuously stack all of these different abilities.
@@platinumangel7446 Some skills she got have requirements. Same case with the main equipment (the black armor set) she has.
A lot of it has something to do like doing things a certain number of times, or staying alive for a period of time, or other methods that are usually unorthodox. Some stuff isn't even that hard to do either, just takes a lot of patience. Considering Maple used to fight some bosses for hours... She definitely has the patience.
But as you said, a lot of it isn't "class specific" either.
And that is why I always skip intros on "new" Animes.
Yeah, at least for the first half of the season.
Yeaaa. Hahaha
Very OP..
The girl on the right is carrying these reactions.
Facts. Glad she joined me 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I told ya 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So the machine God form destroys weapons and armor but since maples grow stronger after being destroyed instead of disappearing its actually op
It's even worse... It should have been a once-only ability to be used only in the machine god boss fight, since once the armor is destroyed, so is the embedded cog from the event. But the armor Maple wore at that time not only regenerates stronger than before being destroyed, it also does so instantly, so she never loses any of the stats it is providing to her, including the cog-tied supposedly one-time-only super OP skill.
This means that every other player that stumbles on the secret machine god quest would end up with its cog and armor destroyed without keeping the skill. Maple is the only one in the game that can have it as a permanent skill, which technically would be an exploit caused by the devs themselves, much like the giant flying turtle or the devouring shield, since they do not think outside the box when they publish new material for the game and they have no idea what strange combos can be achieved by clever or lucky players with even the most harmless skills.
@@ObatongoSensei it only destroys the armor she should keep the skill unless it gets attached to the armor and it never said it got attached to the armor specifically in the light novel or anime so I dont think that we could count on that but her armor being repairing itself and getting stronger every time its destroyed just makes it op anyone else would have to be careful with it
@@ObatongoSensei I only read the English light novel though so your information might be correct just stated elsewhere
@@hibye-die The "temporary" skill gets attached to whatever gear the character is wearing when the first form of the machine god boss gets defeated. It doesn't ends up using a skill slot, because not even all unique armor sets get those slots (Sally's blue set doesn't, for example). It basically becomes a temporary inherent ability of the armor itself, meant to be used only once.
When activated, it destroys the armor and turns into the mecha form, with stats based on those of the destroyed armor and on its rarity. The problem is that Maple's armor has the destruction growth property, so it comes back when the mecha form is deactivated, with all the properties it had when it was destroyed and enhanced stats.
This means that it comes back with the temporary machine god property too, probably because the devs never thought it could be necessary to put a self erasing function to that property after the first use, since basically only Maple has a destruction growth set in the game, the only thing which could keep that insane skill from disappearing with the destroyed armor.
The manga explains it quite well. It is basically Maple exploiting a glitch bug in the quest chain.
@@ObatongoSensei I'll take your word for it because I've never read the manga
