He said a mouthful when he mentioned past trauma in Black American women, although he seemed to related that trauma to past relationships. It goes deeper than that. Black women and men in the diaspora(especially in America) have deep emotional/psychological scars that embedded in our collective memories. It accounts for a lot of the conflicts in our relationships.

Yes, many of us have experienced much social and emotional trauma. Leading us to self destructive activities such as excessive eating of American foods filled with preservatives, artificial hormones, birth control pills, sedentary lifestyle that all lead to overweight and emotional disorders that we ourselves didn't realize the effects it has on our psychological state. A good fast, change in diet, and sound Counseling could curve these effects. Womb healing and self searching is where we need to start to escape these purposeful physical and psychological chains of oppression. Ladies we can do it. We must save ourselves. SOS!

I love my African American sisters. You are strong, beautiful and nurturing. For what you have been through would have destroyed your oppressors long ago, if the situation were turned around. It is amazing that you are still standing. All you need is a place away from the toxic environment to renew and heal. Africa is a place of healing, if you go in humility and sincerity you will be loved back to wholesomeness!!! My black American Sisters, Mothers and Daughters, we African born cousins love you. When we look at you, we see family!!!

Although most black women and African-American men in the diaspora particularly America have a past history of trauma that’s been inflicted on our ancestors, does not mean that every black woman like myself who is walking around has issues and scars of emotional baggage. I think a lot of black women in America or just tired of some of the black men who have totally dropped the ball. And so most of the time we feel that we have to be the husband and the wife, we have to be the coach and the leader because a lot of our black men are just not available. I feel that Africa has a lot more culture but I don’t feel that the people have gone unscathed, or unscarred, do you really think that the Africans that were taken from Africa were the only ones scarred and the ones left behind weren’t. I was not trying to offend you, I just merely wanted to comment on your statement. Be blessed.

Respect to you King Obutunda and your wife. I am of African descent born in the UK. My parents raised me well. Wasn't allowed a bf until a certain age, my longterm partners had to knock and ask my mother if I was allowed out, we spent a good year getting to know our one another before anything else. NEVER rated one night stands, it brings drama. We bow for our elders in the family, few and far between and usually when doing something of stature. Alot of this would be laughed at or taken for granted in the Western hemisphere. Congratulations to both of you. Looking good to see you both happy. Bless

I’m African American, and I’m with a beautiful Ugandan Queen Gods creation. She says Black Americans and African Americans. To me it’s not a big deal. Be very honest with her, and she will love you like no other. This is for the men out there, you must communicate 100%. Be you, don’t try to show off, they will see right through that. Don’t lie or cheat. Just show her you care, and your committed. Don’t waste her time, she will see right through that. Don’t think you will be just sleeping with her right away. That shouldn’t be on your mind anyway. Her life as a Ugandan women should be top priority, and understanding of her culture. Don’t rush her, take your time. They want to get to know you. Their needs to be trust, loyalty, and honesty. You will be a very happy African American. My love told me right up front this is what you get. No nonsense. They are very educated. They work hard, and take care of their man. You will fall deeply in love, trust me. It’s love like no other. Just don’t ruin it, be open and communicate. Again this is from my experience of being in love with a Ugandan women. So guys, find your own. We have our ups and downs trust me. You just have to again communicate.

Many years ago I was one of the Windrush trekkers to The UK. I worked in the day as a postal clerk while continuing my education in the evening. Towards the end of one workday, I was tired handling banking requests from scores of customers, and had my head down when the voice of a young woman, my next customer, floated through the grill. She wanted to know about the various denominations of premium bonds. I lifted up my head, and my heart melted. I was looking at the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I had to know from which country she came. “I am from Baganda” she said proudly. Fortunately for me, a certain King Freddie was in the news a few years before, and I exclaimed, “So, you are from Uganda”. She was visibly impressed that I knew Baganda was a kingdom in Uganda. That earned me about 5 minutes of conversation with the most beautiful woman I had ever laid eyes on, and to this day I am still thankful for that experience.

I'm sure dating in Africa is less stressful. There's so much to overcome being a minority in America. I don't think it's the American man or woman's fault. It's the environment. Hubby and I are lucky and blessed to have each other.

She is ready to be married and I would absolutely want her to be my wife. The thing is, i cannot permanently stay in Uganda right now and i don't know if the job i have is available there for a good income So I have a plan to make enough money to retire there, buy several land plots and sell it for a higher profit. It may be hard make her my wife and be away from her

I want to know what are African American womens experience dating and marrying Ugandan men? I saw on House of Commons channel where the African men preferred African American women to their own...interesting reasonings. I respect it all, as long as it isnt born out of bitterness. I dont believe thats the case with King O. However for some people it is. Its like a new variation of black men wanting white women to disparage black American women. The diaspora is huge...there are so many countries you can chose from. We shouldnt limit ourselves. Especially Afro Caribbean and Afro American women. If you're single get out there and explore.

Black man, are you watching your African brothers stay with his wife's( yes I said it) you can't deal with one... My brothers in America the black man forsakened us, so we had to get aggressive, and head of household. Then you pretend we are " What"??? WOW! Tell the truth. You want a " Submissive" wife, but are you a " Real" man?? African American women are the strength of America, because the black man in America lost his mind( and his manhood). But the world will see what we already know... So " Show" the Motherland" you a man and do it without trying to make us look bad.. And hopefully you won't get a bunch of babies and disappear, cause that's how you do it in America( black man)... With God's help we are raising doctors, lawyers, pro ball players, etc and ask them where their daddy's at.... He disappeared! He deserted the family

Yolanda Liggins Girl!! No. He’ll to the no! I won’t have you talk bad about our African/black men here in the US. That’s a dam lie. Our brothers here did not leave us nor forsake us. That’s a lie per portrayed by the white media and white liberals and Democrats here. Go back to the late 60’s and early 70’s. That whole women’s liberation bull started this mess. That movements was for white women. They never invited black women to that movement. But like usual we want to be down with the European folk and tell our men. “ this is my house not yours.” “This is my body not your” (like 2 people didn’t make that baby?)..You don’t need a husband. You don’t have to have kids and if you do it’s ok to be a single mom.. Fu*k outta here!!.. It’s ok to shack up with your man. Also, black women started working outside the home the media focused on us more. The Democratic Party started focusing on us, black women more. Influencing us by telling us we don’t need a man. Our black man!! So we started believing it.
Because we saw the white women doing it we started doing it too. After a minute them white girls saw that wasn’t working for them and 86 that shit. But nah not the black women. Well look at how that back fired on us and now we want to blame the black men here in the US. HELL NO!!. Look at those so called feminists. 80 years old dried up. No kids, no husband, No family. All they have are regrets.
All and all what other race of man will take you and your five fuck++g kids and try to make home with them. The brother will see him and his baby motha ant working out and go take on another man’s struggle and care for the next man kids. Name another race of man who does that?! Is it the Asians ? What about the Europeans? Black men in America walked out on us because we left their asses. Talking bout I’m every women. Ask any black man why they with another race. They’ll tell you the same dam answer. Because she wants me. She listens to me. She falls back and allow me to be a man. I can grantee you black men in the Caribbean and in African don’t behave like the ones in America. This is the main reason why. Once again we’ve allowed Europeans to rock us to sleep and we don’t even know it. We’ve allow the same ole divide and conquer and don’t even realize it. Do your research before you come for our brothers. At the end of the day. It’s nothing like a black man.❤️❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲. Mi, Mi Love them.

@@yolandaliggins9000 The democrats removed the blackman from the home, convincing the black woman government can replace him. They even provide incentives for him to be not be there or week. Im a personal witness the government (family court) punishes us for being great providers. Gen X Black women know the government will decimate the strong, providing Blackman on their behalf.
African women instead have a tribal mentality. They keep gov out of family desputes and go the family elders.

Absolutely, Africa is all about familly, culture, traditions, extreme respect for the elders. Anyone thinking of moving to Africa will be very welcomed and respected by everyone but you got to be humble, respectful towards people and their cultures and be willing to understand people and learn, which is very easy to do.
Speaking of that women in The Gambia, i don’t even want to mention her name, she is a low human being, she needs to be removed from Gambia period. Imagine someone coming to the USA to live, next, they’re making a UA-cam video disrespecting black Americans on all aspects of their lives while being in America, how do you thing the reactions would be? I’ll let you guess the rest, Same thing, she needs to leave Gambia and let somebody else take her place.
