"Why the hell do I care about what a white man considers beautiful" Let 'em know Dr Umar. We need to stop measuring ourselves against standards we did not set. I love the way Dr Umar elevates and celebrates black women. We didn't ask him to do it, but I'm glad he does. 🌟

Usually when you're talking to someone who's 1st- 3rd generation in a western country, they believe they have to absorb absolutely everything to fit in. Canada and the U.S. are pretty much a place to escape to from impoverished Black and Brown countries. What they never don't seem to understand is that these same western countries are the reason why their country is in that condition. They're so proud to be accepted that they'll allow their kids to join the military to destabilize other Black and Brown countries. That's how indoctrinated immigrant communities can be at times. So what he said tracks.

BM know how they are -- and it goes beyond this generation. They've been this way for centuries. They just don't want to be held accountable. If they are, they will forced to do something about it -- which they are too scared, lazy and incompetent to do. They basically admit this when you ask them things like why they haven't handled the Venezuelans or why they haven't helped Dr. Umar to build a school that everyone -- even WP -- agree that black boys need. On one hand, they will claim that there are all these "good BM" in the community. On the other, they will say that there aren't enough of them to accomplish anything in the BLK community.

No don’t let Dr umar dictTe who you attracted to. There’s plenty valid reasons as to why brothas date out. BW have contributed majorly to those reasons and never made anything better. The whole I don’t need no man BS, I’m a boss bxych, kids don’t need their dad etc. This is the whole culture with BW so BM who’re actually in the dating market understand this. If Umar was dating young BW he would know this but his ignorance is why I can’t listen to him sometimes.
