    B and T life She’s not dating outside her race, she’s dating an African American, an African who was born in America. The place of birth and traditions are the differences. Being called a black man was something that the white slave masters called the African slaves in America. My hair is black but my skin tone is not , I’m an African American who doesn’t know his tribe due to slavery.

    I am am a white guy from the UK and my opinion is the reason why Western men are caring is simply because we value the same which is hard to find over here.
    She said something that really hit home and that is we value honesty well I certainly do, unfortunately I recently split from my Ugandan girlfriend I had planned my life with her and to move to Ugandan but she wasn't able to tell the truth and without trust there can be no relationship.

I employ you to get to know us before believing what you have seen on the television and judging us on that. That's entertainment and the actors get paid to entertain. Not only that try to understand how slavery affected us. We are not the same amongst ourselves, we are as different as a box of chocolates. She's wearing braids!!! That shows how much you know about women's beauty products. SMH. There nothing wrong with wearing braids/hair extensions or even weaves or wigs sometimes, so long as you are not dependent on them. Stop criticizing how women dress. And this is coming from someone who has worn my hair natural my whole life and only permed it twice but did not it permed longer than a year both times.

    • @Bonitaymorena
      @Bonitaymorena 4 роки тому

      I have locks... but that doesn't make me better than someone who flat irons their hair once in a while. Or some woman who wants to wear braids, twist or any other hair extensions or accessories. It's literally part our heritage and if you're of african descent you would know that.... there were wearing hair pieces/adding braids for generations. Perming only became popular in the 1960s.....yes people need to embrace their natural beauty... but it takes time and they also need to find styles that work for their hair texture... and that takes trial and error. Stop judging people especially women you don't even know. Some of those women want variety, some of them have insecurities from society or from their parents and relatives criticizing their natural hair.
      Put yourself in their shoes and pray for them to have the confidence to embrace their natural hair and find a style that compliments their natural beauty. You can wear makeup and dress up like both of these women do and still look beautiful so long as it suits you. The instagram make-up doesn't suit everyone, you have to modify makeup to fit your natural look and keep it more simple.
      I get the message you are trying to convey i.e. you like natural haired BW... but your delivery is abrasive!! You should not have to drag another woman to compliment the women you like. I don't know why people in general feel the need to do that.

    One observation , you keep referring to blacks born in the U.S. as "Black Americans" . They actually called African Americans here in the U.S. It's actually offensive to them when you call them black Americans because it does appear that you are cutting off thier link or attachment to Africa. If you notice , in the media, politics, schools, work , they are referred to as African Americans not black Americans.

      Im totally confused with this comment because I've met black americans that do not want to be referred to as African-American and wish to be referred as a black american, It really depends on the person and how the view themselves and how they choose to identify. And i dont think these young ladies mean no harm when using the word foreigner in actuality yes he's a black man but is very much foreign to there culture and way of life the same way when a african,caribbean, or afro-latinos comes to america.

      some african american refers them selves and black american. So it can be confusing for people when there is no general consensus for what your ethnic group wants to be referred to as. At the end of the day we are all of african descent where we be from Canada, USA, UK, other European countries, the carribbean, south america/latin america etc.

    If you're born in America you are an American (with African heritage) so please don't perpetrate a falsehood. If you are born in Africa and you migrated to the United States and become a citizen you are African Americans.

      noel_ourstorian: I hear Ric R, i hear you about the differences two terms of what is African if you will. i guess African-Diasporan may more apply to those born out of Africa. however it is said that "you are African not because you are born in Africa but because Africa is born in you." this mean Botha out and Ali in as an example.
